Urgh.
"Hello?"
I look at the alarm clock beside the lamp shade.
3:45 am.
Who the hell call in this time of the day?
Who else but King!
"Wake up. We are eating outside."
"Wha-?"
Beep.
Beep.....
Okay.
I know I endulge them cause I am scared but... arent they getting too much?
I am a minor.
A child.
Couldnt they consider my wake up call?
Ah.Damn.
"Soooo Cold!"
I take a bath early morning.
Drink hot chocolate and eat what leftovers left in the fridge.
Ring.
"Are you done?"
There is impatient tone in his voice.
I look at the wall clock.
4:15 am.
Wow, thanks for being considerate boy.
I sigh.
"Im just reheating some leftovers. Ill be done."
"Why are you eating leftovers before eating breakfast outside?"
Cause I dont have any faith in the food youll give me.
I remember once when you slept over in Dad's house, all you drink was a yucky looking protein shake.
Eww.
"Cause...Im hungry."
I cant say it.
Im a coward, damn.
"Then get out. Im waiting outside."
"...."
"What?"
"Can you ask permission first? Ill wake up mom."
"....Sorry,yes. I forgot. I will personally ask her, can you wake her up?"
Is it me or his voice soften?
Damn.
I must be really hungry.
"Mom."
"Hmm? What? Huh? Is it late? I will cook breakfast in a hurry."
"No, it is alright mom. Sir Bishop is outside, he wants to umm ask for permission."
Mom arch a brow.
She went out after fixing her hair and put some lipstick!
Mom, you are not that young anymore!
King is sitting in a one sitter chair reading a magazine that I snatch from somewhere.
He stands up when he see us coming.
"Good Morning Maam." King said not cold nor warm.
"Good morning...Sir Bishop,are you courting my---"
"MOMMMMMM!"
"What? He is always here asking you out. I should know his intention."
"YOU ARE EXAGGERATING?!!!! MOM! WE WILL LEAVE NOW."
"Wait...I havent say yes yet."
Katherine sigh when Kara pull King away.
The guards tacitly open the door at the passenger seat.
Kara went in and sit down.
She hides her face in her palm.
Red all over.
King coughs.
The car moves.
"What is that? You should wait till your Mom allowed us to go." There is a hint of teasing in his lips.
Kara eyes widen and her mouth opened. She glares at him but say nothing.
"I should talk to your Mom when we get back. I should avoid misunderstanding."
"Good." Kara said sighing.
She look outside.
King pull the strand of her hair.
Kara look at King angrily.
King smiles.
"What do you want to eat?"charmingly,King ask.
"Anything....is fine." Kara looks away. Is this guy really King? Why is he smiling like that?
"Oh. Would you like to try the sandwich City? It has all kinds of different sandwiches and spreads."
Kara looks secretly at the obviously good mood King.
What Sandwich?
I want to eat rice.
"Sure.."
Rich people doesnt eat rice in the morning?
King arch a brow.
He research what a teenager would like to eat on the morning. Sandwich is the best for a teenager who needs to study all day.
Yet there is no positive response on this girl.
"What do you want to eat?" King ask.
Kara flinch.
Is he mad?
Did he see me frowning?
"I....I like..sandwich.."
King look away but the mood is nkt right.
He is angry!
He is definitely mad.
What the hell?
He is just smiling awhile ago.
Shw cant really understand crazy people.
Kara look at the place King brings her.
She has never been here before.
She is the type who eats rice on breakfast so she is not that fond of eating bread.
This place is Anastasia's favorite.
Anastasia is one of Kara's step sister.
"Turn around."
King said suddenly.
Kara looks bewildered at King.
She found out that King is on the phone typing text since earlier.
"Where are we going Sir?" The driver ask after turning around.
King looks at me with profound look.
I got scared.
"Why didnt you tell me you eat Rice every morning?"
"Eh?"
"Your Mom said you never missed a day." King showed his phone screen.
Kara's eyes widen.
Then she smiled sheepishly.
"You can just ask me,you know. How did you know my Mom's number?"
"I just ask my men to look for it."
Damn.
Have some shame.
That is breaking the law, idiot.
"And...I already asked you. What did that brings me? A lying kid should be spank."
Kara looks at King with a smile.
After eating, Kara feels so satisfied.
King wipes her mouth gently.
Kara have goosebumps but she enjoys the attention so she said nothing.
"After class, I will pick you up." King said when Kara get out of the Car. They are in front of Highschool A.
"Huh?"
"I want to buy you a gift for 27."
"Ah...Anything is fine. You should pick it yourself or the element of surprise will be lost." Kara pouts.
She said that but she just want to avoid spending more time with King.
She heard him clicked his tongue.
That surprise Kara since King is very patient guy.
She stares dumbfounded at King.
"Dont get mad." Kara said coaxing.
King looks at Kara and rub her head.
"Im not mad at you. I just realize how inconsiderate I am. You have to go before you get late for your class."
Kara froze.
What?
Huh?
This is King?
Did he rub her head?
"Go." King said again knitting his brow.
Kara nods and hurriedly left but she looks back after every 3 steps.
King see her doing it and smile to himself.
Xian saw everything that happened.
He is really mad.
Even though he is not sure why he is angry he is sure this anger cant disappear just like that.
His burning anger consumes him.
He walks urgently and grabs Kara's hand.
"AW!" Kara look pitifully at Xian.
Xian flinch and let go.
"Did you get hurt?" He touch her hand and ask in a patient tone.
"DO YOU HAVE A GRUDGE WITH MY HAND? WHY IS IT ALWAYS MY HAND?" Kara said angrily then she gulp.
"I--I mean,I might be at fault. Sorry I raise my voice. Did I do anything wrong Sir?" Kara ask with a patient,quiet and she did her best to look charming and cute.
Xian looks at her with a sorry expression.
He rubs her hand.
"Sorry, I dont know what happen to me. Are you hurt? Should we go to the infirmary?"
Xian pursed his lips.
Kara secretly curse him in her heart.
One time he is angry and the second he is sorry?
But all she can do is beam and smile.
"I am fine Sir. I miss you."
All she can do is suck up to him.
