Ivan stared at out the window, it was snowing like it always did in Russia. Only this time, he didn't think it was beautiful. He resisted the urge not to cry as the window got colder and colder under his palms. But he wasn't crying because of the temperature.
Ivan Braginski missed someone he loved very dearly. And he never got the chance to say he loved her. He thought about her over and over again, trying to think of her beautiful (e/c) eyes that sparkled in the sunshine. Or even her (h/l) (h/c) hair that was always so soft to the touch.
He tried so desperately to remember everything about her. Everyminusculedetail.
And the more he thought about her, the more he worried. What if she moved on? What if she found a boyfriend that actually was with her? Holding her tight. Oh how he longed to be holding her tight. _____, his _____. Did you remember what he looked like just as clearly as he did?
"MisterBraginski! Are you even paying attention?!"
"D-Da! Da. . .I am. . ."
"Really? It doesn't look like it! Just a few more hours, then you can go back home."
"I can go?"
The officer nodded. "Soon."

Then faded away.

Ivan sat up abruptly in bed, it was all a dream.
Last night I had the kind of dream that you just don't wanna wake up from

So this morning when I woke up it felt more like a nightmare
'cause I rolled over and I thought you'd be right there
Good morning _____!" Ivan rolled over and placed his hand on the spot beside him.
but nope

wishing I was on the first flight home
"Oh, I forgot. . ." Ivan said sadly and sat up in bed with groggy eyes.

Ivan grabbed his phone in excitement and punched in the letters. He was texting _____.
Ivan: Hey I've been gone forever, I'm coming home tonight We'll be back together this plane gon' fly I can't predict the weather But you should know that I, I'll be on the first flight home

Ivan hurried over to his suitase and packed it as fast as he humanly could. Then he ran outside his hotel room. The Russian didn't even bother with the elevators, he sped down the stairs. He made it to the front desk and payed for his long stay.
"Good day Mister Braginski!" The man said.
Ivan nodded. "Not yet."
He ran outside and flagged down a taxi. Soon my _____. . . He thought.
And I bet if I left right now
I'd probably make it to you by the morning
So I'm packing up my bags hopping on this red eye
I'll be there before your eyes even open
He ran into the airport and checked in with the lady at the front desk. Since he sisn't have to check any baggage, he was able to go strait to customs.
"Is this all sir?" The police officer asked as he went through Ivan's bag.
"Da, yes it is." Ivan replied.
"Thank you for you cooperation sir, go on a head."
Ivan nodded and was once again on his way.
Hurry up and tell the pilot to take off
So we could pick up right where we left off
I can't believe it I'm finally on my way

He got into his plane seat wand sighed. Soon the plane would take off into the skies towards his beloved sunflower.

Ivan finally landed, and literally sprinted off the plane. He nodded to all the flight attendents and pitots saying 'hope you had a nice flight' or 'come vistit us again at Delta!'. Ivan just wanted to be done with the airport. He wanted _____.
The Russian man got into his car, pulled out of the ariport's parking space he temporarilly owned, and sped down the street.
Ivan finally began to recognise the scenery. There was that park you first met him in! And the supermarket you love to shop at the most! He couldn't help but smile as he remembered you.
And the more he remembered you, the more he felt awful for leaving you.
Then he saw it! Your driveway house #(number)!
Yeah and I now pull up to your driveway
Been a while since I've been on this block
He pulled into your driveway, and turned off his car.
Your door was still that light/dark (favorite color) you loved so much even though all your friends nagged you to change it. You were different. And Ivan liked it.
And now I walk up to your front door
I know you recognize that same knock
I hear you running down the stairs now
Ivan walked up the walkway to your front door. Soon he was standing in front of the (f/c) door. He knocked three times on the door and waited. What if she hates me for leaving her? He thought.
Thump!Thump!Thump!Thump!
You were running down the stairs.
Tears running down your face
Then you open up that front door
And I look at you and say. . .
"Hey, I know I've been gone forever but I'm finally home tonight. And now that I'm here, I'm never leaving your side. So I told you I was coming, sory it took so long. I was on the first flight home."
You smiled and ran into Ivan's arms. "I--I missed you so much Ivan!" You cried.
"I missed you too my little sunflower." Ivan smiled.

You let go thinking it would be awkward, you never told him your feelings, and it wasn't like you were his girlfriend or anything. Just a friend.

They tasted of vodka, and were soft as Russian snow.
