Toby dug himself a hole in the basement. Apparently he's been digging through the concrete for the past few weeks, trying to build himself a "bwom felture."
I asked if anything was down there with him, and he let me walk in and see what was in the shallow hole.
It was old pictures of him and I, my family together, the time we took him to the aquarium. I asked him why he brought them down with him, and he shrugged.
He looked up at me when I teared up and whispered "Can you bring me some tiny meteor rocks from when you're outside tomorrow? If you find any?"
I nodded, and kissed his head.
