Bibby:
"Stop staring at me" Trinity laughed as she drunk some of her tea
"You got a unibrow" I pick with her causing Daniel to choke on his food
We all were out on a family outing. Since tomorrow was the big day and her family was leaving the next morning. Trinity flicked him off, putting her attention onto her phone that was going off. I glanced at the caller ID seeing it was somebody named Alex calling.
"Who is Alex?" I asked as she silenced the call, ending it
"Nobody" Trinity quickly answers
I gave her a head nod, dropping the topic for now. The restaurant wasn't the place to drill her with questions. The same person sent her a text, causing the suspicion to rise.

I was dressed in a polo button down, tan chinos, and nice pair of loafers. My gold jewelry completed my outfit along with the fresh cut. I was kind of glad Trinity switched the theme for our event. I'm sure it'll shock her once she seen that the gang can clean up well. Herb was on live, being loud as always.
"You loud as hell" I laughed as he snapped some more
"That bitch played us and you just chilling?" Herb looked at me
I shrugged and let him continue to rant. I wasn't going to let our croaked ass manager ruin my mood. Ariana and Trinity both tried telling us the other day but we brushed it off. I guess I didn't really pay it any mind til our original planner bailed on us. And come to find out she was apart of the plan.
I grabbed my phone, calling Trinity.
"You still ain't dressed?" I chuckle seeing she was in her silk robe
"I just got my makeup done" Trinity says, blinking her fresh minks
She couldn't snatch these ones off.
"I'll see you at the venue then" I say wrapping up our call
"Okay, love you" Were her last words before hanging to finish what she doing
Killa ran through the foyer, attacking me with a hug. I picked him up; kissing his forehead.
"Where OG?" I asked George and Teshera as they joined us
"She rode with Shawn to get his lady" George says plopping on the sofa
The doorbell rung, causing me to put Killa down. I made my way to the door seeing Juan and Aliyah. They were the last two I expected to see. Especially since Trinity made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him.
"Is there a reason why you here?" I asked him bluntly
"I'm here for my sister not you" Juan's answers in a smart way
"You were uninvited, I suggest you leave" I shrug seeing he was getting annoyed
"All this is your fault Brandon" Aliyah opens her mouth
"It's best if y'all just go" Teshera had now stepped in and put an end to the conversation
I let out a huff and left her at the door. The last thing I needed was them ruining my day and mood.
Trinity:
I pushed Morgan hand away from my cheeks as she cooed at me. Ariana fixed my hair, being sure my curls fell into place. My black off shoulder dress was complimented by a pair of Steve Madden heels. The slit gave a you a nice of them along with some thigh action. I grabbed my clutch out the passenger seat, shutting the door.
Wop and Mally greeted me as I made my presence known at the door. I must admit they sure did know how to clean up. I hugged them both, following Morgan in. We took in the venue setting in awe. Everything came out just as I expected.
I tapped Morgan, letting her know I was going to go find Bibby. Just as I thought, he was with Herb and GMoney. Herb gave me a playful shove, before pulling me into a hug.
"You look good babygirl" Bibby says pulling me to him
"And you look handsome my love" I blush
"You really did yo thing Trin" GMoney gives me my props for the theme
"Well what can I say?" I joke causing him to laugh
"I'll see you guys in a bit"
I left them and made my way over to my parents. My mom gaped at me in awe, pulling me into her embrace. I took at seat at their table, engaging into a conversation with them. Soon we were joined by Morgan and Daniel. Everything was going smoothly and better than I expected.
"I'm sure y'all wondering what we got on" Bibby voice was heard through the speakers
"Hell yeah" Herb interjected like the asshole he is
"Trinity, you mind coming up for a second?" Bibby puts his focus on me
My heart fluttered as all the attention fell on me. It's been months and I still felt a school girl under his stare. He helped me up the steps, never letting his eyes leave me.
"I just want you to know I appreciate you. For everything you done and do for a nigga man. You really helped a nigga put the pieces to his life together" Bibby spoke making me tear up a little
He let out a chuckle, taking his thumb and wiping my tears. I was emotional for whatever reason.
"There's no other person, I want to spend my life with. You know it's you over all these females. You really are my trophy and I thank god for bringing you into my life..." Bibby takes a pause
"Take yo time Buckz" Mally yelled making everybody laugh
Bibby pulled out a black box, getting on one knee. My heart instantly dropped to my ass.
"I know you already said yes.. But I wanted to do it the right way. And with a actually engagement ring and not an emoji..." He chuckles as he share how he first asked me
"Girl you better say yes or I will" My mom jokes as I still stood there in awe
"Trinity will you marry me?" Bibby asked opening the black box revealing a ring bigger than my promise ring
"Y-yes" I manage to utter out as tears made their way down my face
I was in total shock. The point of the event was for us to announce we were getting married. I didn't expect him to propose with a different ring. Bibby places the ring on my finger, pulling me into a kiss.
It was official, I was getting married to the man of dreams. I trailed behind Bibby as he lead the way over to our family. Morgan attacked me with a hug, along with my mom.
"It sucks Juan had miss this" Mom murmurs
"Who's that?" I asked as my favorite song played
Morgan let out a chuckle as I grabbed her hand for us to go dance. I really meant he was dead to me.
"Don't hurt em" Alice walked over to us with Ariana in toe
"My bitch really bout to settle down" Ariana wipes fake tears
"Says who?" I looked at her with a childish smirk
"Plotting to be a gold digger huh?" A familiar voice caught my attention
I turned around to see Bibby and Herb; scamming ass manager with Aliyah and Juan. They weren't suppose to be here. And who the hell gave them the address?
"Security!" Alice yelled as Ariana and I glared at them
"Y'all boyfriend and fiancé won't last long" She chuckles
"Ima fuck this bitch up" Ariana mumbles taking off her earrings
"No, we just going catch her ass out" I stop Ariana
"But y'all two not suppose to be here, you weren't invited. I made myself clear when I said your dead to me" I add directing my attention onto Juan and Aliyah
"For the sake of the kids Milan, have a heart!" Juan yelled
Eyes were already on us since security wanted to take their precious time. Before I could open my mouth to respond, security lead them out. My mood had been tampered with. It's always something. This is one of the main reasons, I couldn't wait to move to Atlanta next spring.
"Trinity don't let that ruin your mood" Alice tries to lighten things up
"I want food" I murmur causing Morgan to laugh and Alice mouth dropped
I was just going stuff my face and have a few virgin drinks til I felt better. Maybe find Herb and we can spark up a blunt or two. He always kept them on him. Teshera was at the bar, downing a shot. Babygirl, looks stressed the hell out.
"You okay?" I asked her as she ordered another shot
"Oh I'm fuckin great" She says
"No, your not" I say, stopping the bartender from giving her another shot
Seems like I'm going be the only sober one tonight. I lead Teshera out to the deck, so she can get a breath of fresh air.
"Talk" I rub her back as tears started to pour
"Why can't he just be honest with me?" Teshera cried, I already knew it was about GMoney
"He wanted his family back and I was stupid enough to believe he was going change" She cried harder
"Awe don't cry" I try comforting her "He ain't going realize what he had til it's gone. Focus on you and my nephew and let that nigga be"
"I love him tho" She wipes her tears
"Self love is way more important than loving him. How you going love somebody when you don't love yourself?" I asked
She nodded her head, pulling me into a hug. After gathering herself we were able to head back in. Bibby was at the table with guys, chatting it up. How can this ass act like his scam manager wasn't just here? I placed my hands over his eyes, making him kiss his teeth.
"Look fat ass" Bibby grumbled
"I ain't fat when you want me to ride that dick, am I?" I asked making some of the guys gag
"Ima fuck you up" Bibby laughs moving my hands from his face
"Put that down" Shawn pops my hand as I looked to see what was in Bibby's cup
"Don't be popping her, I don't pop your bitch" Bibby growls at him
These two can never have a good day without arguing. Shawn's baby mother bawled her face up at Bibby's comment. It's been 4 months and I still don't like this girl vibe.
"I'm not responsible for what happens when you eat that" Herb warns me as I reach for his brownie
"Leave it alone Trini" Mally warns me
"Give me this, you thought I forgot" Herb instantly changes his mind
They never want to let me test the waters. I shifted my weight to Bibby other leg, causing him to huff. I knew he was only doing to pick. I wasn't even that fat, he was just over dramatic. After sitting with them for a few, I decided to go mingle a bit.
I caught up with a few classmates and coworkers. I excused myself, heading to the bathroom. After handling my business, I joined my parents.
Our event was amazing. Bibby announced that he was now signed to Def Jam Records. Meaning that he will be leaving Chicago soon to start working on his album. I snuggled closer to Bibby chest as we thanked our guest for coming. Herb and my mom were the only two on the dance floor.
It was only family and close friends left. Now was the perfect time to drop one last bomb on everyone.
"Before we leave, I have one more announcement" I say getting their attention
"You really adopted , aren't you?" Mally jokes causing me to flick him off
"I was thinking the same, she act nothing like her sister" Herb adds in his two cents
"Shut up y'all" George shushes them as I waited for them to finish
I was used to them and their ways already. Bibby had this confused look on his face as Ariana passed him a box. I motioned for him to open, seeing his face change.
"You serious?" Bibby asked making me nod
"What is it?" OG rushed over to him only for him to hold to his chest
"We're expecting" I smile rubbing my tummy
