You and Kian were in a long distance relationship as of three months ago. After meeting through Corey, which he guarantees is the only good thing Corey has ever done, you quickly became very flirty. You lived on the east coast while he was in California, but you were determined to make it work.
He was constantly sending you pictures and Snapchats throughout the day, especially when he was bored. You had learned how to sneakily check your phone while at work and he enjoyed that you took that risk for him.
You two were also way competitive with each other, especially over sports teams or games. Kian was a Lakers fan, but you were a Cavs fan. So anytime the two were against each other you went hardcore with the smack talk.
He went to a game with a buddy and bombarded your phone with pictures.
To which you replied, "I get it you root for a popular team.... 🙄. Gosh, rub it in..... 🤪."
He texts back. "Thanks for the positivity love."
You smile.
A few seconds later he texts you again.
Kian: "Check your front porch I got a notification that my package arrived."
You giggle. Kian loved sending you stuff. You run to the door and sure enough there was a box from Kian.
You text him back once you bring it inside.
You: "Do I open it?"
Kian: "Yes please!"
You open it to find.
Cavs vs. Lakers tickets and...
You scream and call Kian.
Kian picks up but can barely hear you.
Kian: "HOLD ON BABE. I'M GOING TO STEP OUT FOR A MINUTE."
You give him a minute.
Kian: "Ok, now I can talk. What do you think?"
You: "Babe, you didn't need to buy me tickets."
Kian: "Let me stop you right there, Honey. I love you and want to take this rivalry between us seriously." He giggles. "So, I'm flying you out here and I want you to attend a game with me. So don't say anything but "Thank you, Kian."
You laugh.
You: "Thank you Kian."
Kian: "You're welcome Babe."
You look at the two shirts.
You: "I do have a question for you."
Kian: "Ok?"
You: "Why did you get me a Lakers and Cavs jersey?"
Kian: "The Cavs one is for you to wear to the game. The Lakers one is for you to wear after halftime when you decide your team is horrible." He laughs.
You: "You're a turd."
Kian: "But you love me."
You giggle.
