"Don't worry. I'm not going to attack. I'm just here to check things out. There's no need to be so on edge, Clementine Afton," Kimblee says.
I glare at him.
He slightly flinches but quickly regains his composure. He then tips his hat and says,
"See you around..."
He then walks away.
What in the...
"Y/N!" I hear Rei exclaim behind me.
I spin around and see her with Chi, Natsuo, and Fyuymi.
I greet them,
"Hey, guys! What's up?"
"We got Mom out of the hospital for a bit and brought her here so we all could watch you and Shouto," Fuyumi explains.
"Awesome! I tell Shouto when I get back to my seat," I reply.
"Good luck to you both!" Rei exclaims, she pulls me into a hug and whispers,
"I'm so proud of you!"
Aww...Rei...
We pull away and go out separate ways.
I then notice Chi is following me.
I bend down and ask,
"Do you want to come with me?"
Chi's face lights up.
She then excitedly nods.
I hold out my arms and she swivels her body, readying to jump.
She then jumps up into my arms and I carry her back to my seat.
I sit down in my seat.
"Hey, brother! Rei, Natsuo, and Fyuymi are here! Also Chi," I say to Shouto, holding up Chi.
I then see Tetsutetsu get knocked out of bounds.
"Oh...I'm next...here," I say, handing Shouto Chi.
I hop out of my seat and walk to the arena. I summon my sword before exiting to the field.
I'm up against Monoma...hmm...
Present Mic introduces me.
I step up onto the arena.
Present Mic introduces Monoma.
"Hey, Monoma! No hard feelings...okay?" I say.
"Sure," Monoma replies, eyeing my sword. I then hear Monoma mumble,
"Why do I get the feeling I'm doomed...?"
"Ready...Go!" Midnight starts the battle.
I run at Monoma.
I swipe at him.
He tries blocking with Kirishima's quirk.
I eventually knock him out of bounds.
"Monoma is out of bounds! Y/N wins!" Midoriya announces.
I hold out my hand to help Monoma up.
"I was right...you're really good with a sword," Monoma compliments, taking my hand.
I pull him up and reply,
"Thanks."
I walk back to my seat, sending my weapon back to wherever it came from.
I sit down.
Shouto hands me Chi.
Shouto then gets up and heads to the arena.
Nothing much really happens for the next few fights:
Itsuka (no) vs. Shouto (yes):
Shouto wins
Ibara (yes) vs. Awase (no):
Ibara wins
Momo (yes) vs. Iida (no):
Momo wins
Midoriya (yes) vs. Tokoyami (yes)...
Tokoyami, of course, just knock Midoriya out of bounds.
I get out of my seat, setting Chi in Shouto's lap, and go to the arena.
I summon...
I'm up against Ochako...
"Ready...Begin!" Midnight starts the battle.
I run at Ochako.
"Huh?!" Ochako meeps.
I swipe at here.
She dodges.
She grabs my shirt and tosses me over.
I land on my feet, knees bent, and toss myself over Ochako.
I land on her shoulder and toss her over me.
Her feet land out of bounds.
"Uraraka is out of bounds! Y/N wins!" Midnight announces.
"Wow...that was cool!" Ochako comments as I help her up.
"Thanks," I reply.
I go back to my seat.
Shouto battles Ibara.
Shouto ends up freezing Ibara's vines and knocks her out of bounds.
Momo doesn't have anyone to fight so she gets a break.
I then realize something.
Wait...Tokoyami beat Midoriya...I beat Ochako...so...oh...
"I'm fighting Tokoyami..." I mumble.
"Yep..." Shouto replies.
I start walking to the arena.
"Y/N," I hear Tokoyami say behind me.
"Hm?" I hum, turning around to face him.
"...if I win, you won't get mad...and if you win, I won't get mad...Okay?" Tokoyami asks.
I know I won't get mad but...I'm not sure about Tokoyami...
"Okay..." I reply and start walking again.
I step up onto the arena.
"Ready...Begin!" Midnight starts the battle.
I take out my pocket watch.
"Huh...?" Tokoyami says, confused.
I spin it and summon:
Tokoyami sends Dark Shadow after me.
I swipe at him and dodge.
Dark Shadow comes at me.
I swipe at him with my sword.
Dark Shadow is fast...he's also really strong...I've never had to fight him before...geez...I feel like Dark Shadow is more aggressive...
Dark Shadow ends up grabbing my sword and slicing my right arm.
I quickly take my sword back and continue to block and knock Dark Shadow around.
I'm bleeding...good...
I continue to fight Dark Shadow, moving around the arena in a certain way. I also let Dark Shadow occasionally take my sword and slice me, causing me to bleed more.
Okay...I'm good...
I block Dark Shadow in a certain area.
I then clap my hands, drop to my knees, and lay my hands on the transmutation circle.
Tokoyami looks down and gasps.
Then...
Dark Shadow gets fire blown in his face.
He retreats back into Tokoyami.
Tokoyami sends Dark Shadow back.
I clap and lay my hands on the transmutation circle.
Dark Shadow gets covered in fire, but still goes after me.
I jump up and block him with my sword.
Dark Shadow goes up in flames and permanently, for this fight, retreats back into Tokoyami.
I run at Tokoyami.
I swipe at him, causing him to move back.
"Tokoyami is out of bounds! Y/N wins!" Midnight announces.
It...worked...?
"Y/N your arm..." Tokoyami points out.
I look at my right arm. It's pretty bloody and cut up.
"You should go to Recovery Girl's temporary office," Tokoyami says.
I shrug and start walking.
"Hey...Y/N..." I hear Tokoyami say behind me.
"Hm?" I hum, turning around to face him.
"Umm...why...are you dating me?" Tokoyami asks, he looks really scared and nervous.
I reply,
"I'm not really sure. Why are you dating me?"
Tokoyami looks at me very confused for a moment.
"In all honesty, I didn't know we were dating until you said so after I asked," Tokoyami explains.
Back in the chapter "Chi"...
"What is it?" I ask quietly, leaning in really close to Tokoyami.
"Are we dating...?" Tokoyami asks, nervously.
"Huh? Yeah...I think so...are we not?" I ask, growing confused.
"Yeah...we are...we just never really confirmed it until now," Tokoyami replies.
"Oh yeah...I remember..." I reply.
"So...why?" Tokoyami asks.
I shrug.
We stay silent for a moment.
What am I supposed to say in this situation...?
