Notes~ okay so this is a Wally X Reader buttttt it's also the part two of the chapter 'Risking' that a LOT of you have asked for so sorry if it sucks I guess. Cause it really started off as just a Wally one shot and then I was like HEY! Bang! It can be a part two! So sorry if it sucks! And here's your Wally one shot flaregirl2112 Oh! And also it has panic attacks in it so trigger?...... I guess? I don't..... I don't really know so..... yep! Enjoy!
Your P.O.V.
Sitting up, a blood chortling scream escapes me. The memory of my nightmare still runs through my head. Tears slide down my face as the image keeps reappearing. The team lays dead at my feet. They're all batteries and blooding. All...... because...... of...... me......
I scream again at the scenes from my dream run through my head again and refuses to go away. "Y/N! Y/N open the door!" I hear the team yell as they bangs against my locked door. My throats tightens up as my breaths get shallower and shallower. Someone - probably Robin - fitted with the lock as they try to pick it.
"Y/N! Open the door!" Wally screams from the other side. My chest tightens too as my panic attack takes full swing.
"MOVE!" Conner's voice rings in my ears. He kicks the door causing it to come crashing down to the ground. My head snaps towards them standing at the door. Wind hits my face as I notice Wally's crazy red hair. I can't really make anything else out with my watery eyes but I can guess what they look like for the most part.
Wally takes my face in his heads and turns me so I'm facing him instead of looking at the team over his shoulder. It's hard to think that just a month ago that I could barely tall to him and now he's freaking out over me.
As it gets harder and harder to breath, my body shakes even more. "Y/N? Y/N?! Look at me! Look at me!" I look him in the eyes as more tears fall from mine. "Just breath, okay? Breath" He tells me. Slowly my breathing goes back to normal as he wiped away some of my tears. "You're okay! You're okay now!" He keeps repeating.
Once I'm called down, I hug him. He holds me too as a fresh set of tears pool out. "I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!" I say between sobs.
"It's okay! It's okay! Nothing happened! No one blames you! Go back to sleep! You need it! It'll all be fine! I'll be here! I won't let anything happen to you! I promise!" He soothes me. He pulls away long enough to get a chair before he wraps me back up in his arms. Not knowing what to do, the Team awkwardly flaps on the floor to support, whatever they think this is.
Megan's P.O.V.
Everyone is hanging out in the living room as Conner and I make some cookies. About an hour or so ago Y/N left to sleep. So everyone else quietly watch TV. Well - besides Wally. He hasn't shown up yet. A scream cuts throw the whiteness of the mountain. Everyone jumps up into their frightening stands, getting ready for the worst. By then it goes quite again. "What was that?" Kaldur asks as we stands normally again.
"Y/N" Conner says bluntly as he walks towards everyone else.
"What was Y/N?" Wally asks confused. Everyone looks towards him as he walks in.
"Y/N was the one that screamed." Artemis fills him in.
Wally looks worried as he talks. "W-why was she screaming?" He stutters out.
Shrugging, Robin says "Don't know! She left for a nap a while ago."
Robin's P.O.V.
"Don't know!" I say shrugging. "She left for a nap a while ago." I tell Wally, not all that worried.
All color drains from his face. He's freckles stand out against his pale face as he's red hair is the only thing left with color. "We HAVE to find her!" He yells before super speeding out of the room.
"Think we should fallow him?" Artemis asks.
"Definitely! I've never seen him this worried!" I tell them, a little worried myself.
"Not even when he ran out of food?" Megan tries to joke.
"Nope! Not even then!" I smile a little before my worry comes back.
"Y/N's in her room so we'll probably find Wally there too....." Conner murmurs. We all get to her room in time to see Wally stop in front of her door. A breeze runs over us as it catches up with his speed. Wally turns the handle and tries to push the door open. But it doesn't. Y/N screams again causing a switch to flips in Wally.
He starts vibrating from worry as he's eyes start to water. Soon he starts freaking out and slamming against the door. He's worry causes everyone else to panic too. Soon everyone else is banging and yell for Y/N to open the door. Staying calm, I try to pick the lock. But it's pretty hard with everyone hitting against the door.
Wally's P.O.V.
"Don't know! She left for a nap a while ago." Rob says casually. Fear crashes into me at his words. Knowing her past, I know what terrible things her dreams hold.
"We HAVE to find her!" I order them before running around the mountain looking for Y/N. I tear through the rooms leading towards hers. As I get to her door, I freeze. The team soon joins behind me. I try opening the door but it's locked. Of course she locked the door! I scream in my head as another wave of fear hits me. Soon another scream is heard from the other side of the door.
Fear pushes me into action as I start slamming on the door and screaming. The team joins me in my actions pretty soon after. "Y/N! Open the door!" I scream as loud as I can as tears slip out of my eyes.
"MOVE!" Conner yells, sending us away form the wooden door. He kicks the door down and I waste no time running in to her. Her breaths are short and quick as her body shakes. Both are signs of her panic attacks. Tears mix from her crying and the lack of air.
Kneeling down next to her, I grab her face gently in my hands. I turn her towards me but her eyes wonder behind me as her breaths seem to get even fewer. The feeling of worry and a chance of lost hits against me again as I start screaming to get her attention. "Y/N? Y/N?! Look at me! Look at me!" Her beautiful E/C eyes slowly slide towards me and lock with my green ones. "Just breath, okay? Breath" I say a little calmer. "You're okay! You're okay now!" I tell her again and again.
Slowly she calms down before hugging me. I pull her as close as possible as she starts crying and apologizing. "I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!" She says while crying.
"It's okay! It's okay! Nothing happened! No one blames you!" I reassure her. "Go back to sleep! You need it! It'll all be fine! I'll be here! I won't let anything happen to you! I promise!" I quietly tell her. I quickly pull away to grad a chair before I hug her again. Soon Y/N falls asleep.
When she does fall asleep, I look around. The team sits on the floor looking confused and worried. Half turning towards them, I still hold Y/N close. There's a little while that everyone is silent. I watch Y/N's chest calmly fall up and down until Kaldur speaks up. "This is the second time something like this happened...." he starts.
"I know" I barely say.
"She snapped at Batman two months ago....,, and she has been refusing to train when you're around....." Megan notes. I let out a long, stressed sigh but stay silent.
Robin is the one that breaks the silents this time. "Last month, after she yelled at Batman..... she said she didn't want the boy to have a life like hers........ and she said she risks her life to prove a point...... what does she mean by that?" He questions me. I rub small circles on her back as I think over how I'm going to tell them. Or if I'm going to tell them.
"If, and I mean if I tell you guys her story, you can't tell her you guys know...... and you can't look or think of her any different. Got it?!" I ask all of them. They all agree to my terms as I think this over a little more.
"Her father....." my voice breaks at the word father. "...... he was one of Gotham's biggest drug dealers. Heck! He was the biggest drug dealer in all of America...... and...... and because of that....... cause of that....... she was thrown into that world too....." I stop and let out a shaky breath.
I let out a sarcastic laugh before talking again. "I can't even talk about it with out getting upset and it didn't even happen to me!" I say letting a few tears roll down my face. "Umm... and.... and he..... he mad her...... he made her get rid of the...... unwanted people..... and she..... she would..... she would be injected with countless drugs and used for experiments. She was used as..... as..... as a test subject! When they weren't forcing her to kill people they fucking used her as a test subject!" I say angering with what life has given her.
"What do you mean by 'unwanted people'?" Megan asks after a few minutes. I shot her a glare before looking back at the wall. "Oh......" She says, after Conner explains it to her.
"Is that why she freaked out about the little boy?" Artemis asks, upset too. I shake my head yes as everyone soaks in what I just said.
"Can we..... can we ask questions?" Megan asks. Again I shake my head as everyone thinks everything over.
"Why did she scream?" Kaldur asks for everyone.
I slightly turn towards them before answering. "When she sleeps she gets terrifying nightmares. So she really sleeps. But when she does sleep....... it's like hell for her...... and because of the fear of the nightmares and the fear of her Father possibly coming back she usually has panic attacks when she walks up." I tell them.
"Is her father alive?" Conner questions will hugging Megan, who's silently crying.
"No..... but she's still scared." I answer for him. I rack my hand throw her hair as she sleeps peacefully.
"What did she mean when she said she was proving a point by risking her life?" Artemis asks quietly.
Watching her chest fall up and down I answer. "Her Father..... he said..... he said all she would ever do was cause harm for people and that...... and that she could never repay for all the lives she took.... so..... so she became a hero and.... and she doesn't care if she gets hurt in the process of saving people...... obviously....." I say referring to last months excitant.
Everyone thinks this over in silences. "Does the league know?" Robin asks, messing with his gloves.
"Ya...... after she snapped at the big Bat they say her down and made her tell them everything. So..... ya they know and.... and Canary that it would be safer if someone on the team know about.... about everything so if something like this happened someone would know what's happening." I tell them as I cast my eyes down to the ground.
"She choose you?" Conner asks in his monotone voice.
"No...... she ahhh...... she was scared of me.... and.... and because of that they thought it would be a good idea if..... you know..... if she got closer to me....." I say sadly.
"Why is - was? - she scared of you?" Megan asks, not crying anymore.
"She was scared of me because her Father had red hair and..... How Canary explained it was that it was a self-caution sign to stay away from me I guess......" I say, not fully understanding it myself.
Everyone goes quite again before someone else speaks up. "Why won't she train around you?" Robin asks.
I sigh again before answering. "Because she says that when she trains around me she..... she feels like I can see the killer in her or something like that......." I tell them. Y/N starts steering in her sleep and I shush her back to peaceful sleep. "Shhh! Shh! My love! It's okay! I'm here for you! I'm here!" I tell her, running her back.
"OTP!" Robin says, causing everyone to laugh.
"Shut up bro!" I say back with a smiling. Glancing down to my peaceful Y/N, I smile even more. "We're my OTP too....." I whisper.
