"So you're actually an elf?" Jungkook asked as he walked along side Taehyung and Jimin, noticing how Jimin was keeping very close to him.
The three of them had decided to go on a walk whilst they explained everything to help give them fresh air when they needed a breather. It was a long story after all.
"And werewolves really exist?" He asked, Jimin sighing
"I wish they didn't, but they do" Jimin spoke sadly as Taehyung grabbed a hold of his hand, giving it a light squeeze.
"Anything you can imagine Jungkook. It's real" Taehyung told him which made Jungkook perk up.
"So vampires and mermaids and trolls and fairies?! They're all here?!" He asked with excitement.
"Yeah.. some have their own separate worlds. Us elves do and fairies too. It's mainly to protect us" Jimin spoke
"Werewolves and vampires have their worlds in this one but hidden away so nobody can find them, but they're free and they're actually allowed to leave" Jimin froze after what he just said. He wasn't meant to say that.
"You're not meant to leave?" Taehyung asked with shock as Jimin didn't look him in the eye, his eyes diverted to the floor.
"Don't you need to go home?" Jungkook asked as they all had stopped in place as they were stood in some woods just off the side of town.
"I do, but..." he sighed as he finally looked up to them.
"I'm bored and I wanna go out and see the world!" He cheered
"Make new friends and I-I'm scared to go home" He admitted, his face going from excited to sad in a split second. He knew why, but for their protection he couldn't tell Jungkook and Taehyung.
"Why? Why're you scared?" Taehyung asked as he stepped forward.
"If I go home, they'll know I'm there and they'll be coming for me and everybody else in the elf world" Jimin spoke as they knew he was on about the werewolves.
"Jimin, I didn't want to ask why but I have to now" Taehyung and Jungkook stepped forward as they both faced Jimin.
"Why are they after you?"
"He has what we want"
A voice was heard that definitely wasn't Jimin's. It was a deep and rough voice. One Jimin seemed to recognise as his face ran pale and his eyes were filled with fear. His fear was more for Taehyung and Jungkook's sake though, not for himself. If they hurt Taehyung or Jungkook then he'd have nobody.
The two boys in front of Jimin slowly turned around, surprised when they saw three boys stood there, each with eyes that felt like they were burning through them and scowls on their faces that were directed at Jimin.
"Have you missed us?" The tallest in the middle spoke as he stepped forward.
"I'm sure you have, who are your new friends?" He asked as he came over to the two boys who were frozen in place.
"Interesting" he noted as he turned back to his two friends with a smug look on his face.
"They're human"
The two friends both laughed as they came and stepped forward too, breathing in deeply through their nostrils as they began laughing again. They obviously had good senses of smell like a dog.
"I thought elves and humans weren't allowed any communication" The taller mocked Jimin as he went right up to him. Taehyung instantly panicked when he saw the height difference with the both of them. If a fight kicked off Jimin looked powerless against this guy.
"Are you breaking the rules now? Is that what you've turned to so you can get help?" He poked fun as Jimin just stayed quiet, looking down at the floor.
"How can two humans help you? They're nothing to us!" He laughed as before Jimin could do anything, the smaller black haired one had a hold on Taehyung, the light haired one having a hold on Jungkook as they both tried fighting to get away.
"Please don't hurt them! This is all me! Not them!" Jimin begged as he saw his two friends beginning to panic, especially since the werewolves were strong in their human form, let alone when they were actually wolves.
"Namjoon keep this between us please!" Jimin begged him, Namjoon laughing at him as he stepped closer, turning serious as he leaned in and whispered.
"Give me the pearl" he spoke in a low voice that sent a shiver up his spine.
He couldn't give up the pearl. He had it for a reason.
"I-I don't have it" He spoke, Namjoon glaring at him
"I won't ask again" He snarled as Jimin backed off, his back hitting a tree as Namjoon came and pinned him to it so he couldn't move.
"I swear Namjoon! I would give it to you if I had it!" Jimin begged
"Then where is it?!" Namjoon swung his arm, hitting Jimin across the face as it sent him flying to the ground about five metres from where he was originally standing as his head hit a tree trunk with a loud thud. Surprisingly he sat up as he gripped his cheek as Namjoon had a look of confusion on his face. Usually someone would be dead from a hit like that. How was he not?
"Jimin!" Taehyung shouted as he had a burst of courage, stamping on the black haired ones foot before shoving him off.
"You're dead kid!" He growled as he jumped into wolf mode, snarling at Taehyung who froze when he saw how tall werewolves were.
The werewolf growled as it ran at Taehyung, who tripped over a tree stump, falling onto his back, giving the wolf a chance to attack him.
"Taehyung no!" Jimin cried as without a second thought, he brought out the pearl, holding it towards Yoongi as a bright blue light shot out of it, hitting Yoongi in the side who fell to the floor with a yelp.
As he landed, he rolled onto his back and over again, unable to stand as he was instantly weakened by this pearl. Hoseok instantly dropped Jungkook, rushing to his friend as he checked he was okay, Yoongi turning back into his human form, revealing a huge burn mark in his side as he was hunched over, gripping it, his eyes screwed shut as he groaned in pain.
"Hoseok! Get Yoongi out of here!" Namjoon shouted as Hoseok nodded, glaring at Taehyung before he picked his friend up, turning into his wolf form too as he threw Yoongi on his back and ran off into the woods with him.
Namjoon slowly turned towards Taehyung who was still on the floor, his eyes wide with shock and fear as Namjoon laughed at him.
"You're quite the fighter aren't you?" He smirked, Taehyung looking at him as he began to scramble to get away.
"If only you were a werewolf" Namjoon sighed as he turned back to Jimin, leaving Taehyung confused by what he meant.
"Give me the-"
"Come near me or my friends and you're gonna get it but ten times worse!" Jimin shouted as he showed the pearl, Namjoon instantly backing off. That's what signifies that whatever this pearl was, it was important. Especially if it was able to hurt a werewolf the way it did as well as making them back away with fear.
A howl was heard in the distance, Namjoon listening to it as he huffed angrily, turning away as he was about to leave.
"You'll be sorry when I get that pearl" He spoke, turning and looking at Taehyung as he smirked at him as he jumped and turned into a wolf.
He was what made Taehyung and Jungkook the most scared they'd ever been.
He was way bigger than the others, his fur a dark grey colour with tones of black as he had burning red eyes unlike the other two who had yellow. As he stood up tall, he could easily kill all three of them in a swift movement. That's when Taehyung knew he was the leader.
He'd just met the leader of the wolf pack.
With that, Namjoon howled loudly as it rung around the forest, echoing for miles before he took off running in the same direction Hoseok went off in.
He was extremely fast as he ran too and by the looks of it he was extremely strong. Especially if he made Jimin go flying about five metres through the air, as a human.
After a small silence that was left as Namjoon was out of sight, a small sniffle was heard as both boys turned to Jimin who was stood, staring at the dark blue pearl in his hand, tears falling from his eyes.
"I never should have took this" he mumbled, wiping his tears as he looked at Jungkook and Taehyung.
"I'm so sorry" he cried again, Taehyung running over and pulling him into a hug.
"It's okay" he ran a hand through his hair, trying to soothe him. Jungkook soon came over, the two pulling away as Jungkook put his arm around Jimin.
"We'll help you" He spoke, Jimin nodding although deep down his gut was telling him that they should save themselves and get out now while they still can.
"I need to go home" Jimin spoke as he put the pearl back in his pocket.
"I'm sorry guys but it's dangerous dealing with this in the human world" He sighed as he began to walk off in the direction of Taehyung's house.
Taehyung didn't want this to end, but he knew it had to.
Jimin had to go home.
