Lisa got 'discharged' the following day and Taehyung drove her home after calling a staff to bring his car over to the hospital.
Once they arrived at Lisa's apartment, she pushed him to the wall and pressed her breasts to his chest.
"I've missed you so much baby" She whispered.
Taehyung gently pulled her away. "Listen Lisa, there's something I have to tell you" He said but then the words the doctor told him that morning rang in his ears.
"Mr Kim, the patient is in a very critical point In her life. She is suffering from extreme high blood pressure so you have to be very careful with your words or she could have another heart attack which could cause heart failure and untimely death"
"Death?" Taehyung shouted. "You mean she could die?" his eyes widened.
The doctor nodded. "She needs to be well taken care of"
Taehyung just stared at him blankly.
"Excuse me" The doctor said and he left.
Taehyung sighed. How was he going to break up with her without causing her to have an attack and die.
Now, he was staring at her and she was staring back at him.
"What where you going to tell me?"
He shook his head "No, No it's nothing"
"Are you sure?"
He nodded gravely. "Everything's fine"
She grinned. "Can you stay for breakfast. I will make us some scrambled eggs"
"It's okay, I have to head back to the dorm. The tour is starting next week. There's no time"
She pouted. "Oh, okay. I also have work to do as your stylist"
She giggled. "Wouldn't it be great. We get to spend a lot of time together during the tour"
He tried to smile but it was impossible when his heart was aching. Lisa suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Tae love, I know I've been acting unnecessarily jealous especially when it comes to Jimin but I won't do that anymore"
Taehyung just looked at her as she continued "I don't want us to keep having stupid fights because of some misunderstandings so I'll try to get closer to Jimin"
Taehyung didn't want that at all but he couldn't tell her that.
"That's really nice Lisa" He fake smiled.
"Look, I've got to go. I'll call you later"
He dashed to the front door but froze on the spot when she called his name.
"Tae love"
He turned round and saw she had her hands on her hips.
"Aren't you forgetting something?"
She pointed to her lips and he gulped. He moved to her and gave her a short kiss.
"Bye!" He said quickly and ran out as fast as he could. He didn't know how long he could continue with this pretense but he knew one thing for sure. He had to speak to Jimin. He entered his car and drove off as quickly as possible.
As soon as she saw Taehyung's car zoom off from the window, Lisa called Jungkook's number. The latter quickly picked up.
"Hello Lisa"
"Jungkook, Taehyung is on his way to the dorm"
"Alright but is our meeting still on for this afternoon?"
"Yes, we'll meet at the coffee shop near your dorm at 2.00am. Be discreet"
They ended the call and Jungkook went to Jimin's room only to find out that he was still in bed, his blanket wrapped around his body.
"Hey Jimin, wake up. It's already morning"
But Jimin did not stir. He started getting worried and touched his body. It was raving hot. He pulled back Jimin's blanket and saw he was shivering like someone cold.
"Jimin, you have a fever" He muttered. Jimin didn't answer him and just kept shivering. Jungkook quickly ran to call the others. He entered the kitchen and found Namjoon and Jin so close to each other. Immediately they saw him enter, they separated blushing hard.
"Hyungs!" he screamed.
"Wh....what?" Namjoon muttered, his cheeks completely red while Jin kept hiding his face.
"It's Jimin, he's very sick" He shouted.
Jin quickly entered mom mode. "Sick?" He yelled out and ran out followed by Jungkook and Namjoon.
They met Hoseok and Yoongi in the corridor.
"Hey, what's going on?" Yoongi said but no one answered him. Seeing them running, he and Hoseok joined. They all entered Jimin's room and gasped when they saw him looking so pale. The color on his face had drained off and he looked as white as a ghost. Even his lips where slightly chapped.
Jin sat close to Jimin and placed a hand on his forehead.
"Oh my, He's so hot. We need to get a doctor right away!"
He looked at Namjoon. "Joon, call our manager and tell him to get a doctor here Asap"
Namjoon quickly ran off. Jin turned to Hoseok. "Get me a towel and a bowl of water. Let me see if I can get his fever down just a little"
Hoseok ran off too. Jin turned to Yoongi.
"You, get me a thermometer!"
Yoongi ran off also. Jungkook looked at Jin "What do I do?"
"You stay here. He's your boyfriend. He'll need you beside him"
Jungkook just nodded. He was wrong. He wasn't the one Jimin wanted right now. The one he wanted was the same person that made him like this. He must have cried so much last night, it affected his health.
The others came back after doing what Jin wanted.
"The doctor will be here very soon" Namjoon said.
Jin dipped the towel into the bowl of water, wringed off the excess and placed it over Jimin's fore head. The boy shivered furiously for a while and then calmed after adjusting to the cold towel on his forehead.
"Tae...Tae" Jimin suddenly murmured making everyone freeze. They looked at Jungkook but he just shrugged trying to hide his embarrassment.
"He probably misses him. He is his best friend....."
They all nodded akwardly and the silence settled in the room.
"Gosh, where is this doctor?" Hoseok whispered and used the opportunity to escape from the stifling room. Yoongi followed him also. They got to the sitting room and Taehyung suddenly entered with the doctor.
"Hey guys, why is the doctor here?"
"It's Jimin, he's very sick"
The expression on Taehyung's face changed as he quickly ran to Jimin's room. Once he entered, he saw Namjoon, Jin and Jungkook surround Jimin who was wrapped in a thick blanket.
"What happened?"
"We don't know, we just saw him like this" Jin answered.
Taehyung wanted to get closer but Jungkook held his hand quite strongly. "Just let him be" he whispered coldly.
He was about to protest when the doctor entered to check on Jimin.
"I will like everyone to leave" He said and they all left.
Thirty minutes later, the doctor came out to meet them. They all gathered in front of him.
"What's wrong with him?"
"Stress" The doctor said "He's emotionally and physically stressed out. He needs a lot of rest"
"But we are beginning our tour next week" Namjoon said worriedly.
The doctor smiled "It's alright, as long as he doesn't over exert himself. I have prescribed some drugs and vitamins to help with the fever. He should be fine in a few days. I've given him some sleeping tablets. He should sleep for the whole day"
He gave Jin the prescription and they all thanked him. The doctor left and Taehyung was about to enter Jimin's room but Jungkook stopped him.
"What are you doing?" Taehyung glared at him.
"Didn't you hear the doctor? Jimin has to avoid stressful situations"
Taehyung sighed. "What do you mean?"
"You make him stressed out Taehyung!"
"What?"
Hoseok came in their middle to calm the situation.
"Hey guys, no arguing!"
Taehyung frowned "I don't understand why he has to say that?"
Jungkook smirked "Just stay away from Jimin" He said bluntly and walked away.
There was silence and everyone looked at Taehyung. Hoseok cleared his throat.
"I don't know what Jungkook's problem is but just do what he wants. I guess he is unhappy because of what happened yesterday"
"But...."
"Taehyung, we don't need any kind of problems now so just let it be" Namjoon said.
Taehyung hung his head and headed to his room. He slammed the door so loud he was sure everyone could hear it.
Jungkook suddenly left the dorm that afternoon. Taehyung saw it as an opportunity to sneak into Jimin's room.
His heart beat crazily fast as soon as he saw him sleeping soundly like an angel. How could he not have realised his feelings all these while? He had probably taken it for granted because they saw each other all the time.
He sat beside him and squeezed his small hands, tears streaming down his face.
"I was going to do it Jimin, I was going to leave her but I couldn't. Something stopped me. I have to be with her until I figure out another way. I'm sorry because I'm going to have to keep stressing you out. Forgive me"
He brought his hand to his lips and kissed it.
Jungkook met with Lisa at the cafe. She was dressed in all black and looked even more noticeable. Jungkook hid his face under a face mask and sat with her. They ordered some drinks before they started to discuss.
"How long have you being in love with Jimin?" she asked. Jungkook was a bit taken aback but he answered anyway.
"Since we debuted. He was very kind and playful with me. He always took extra care of me and without knowing it, I started developing feelings for him"
"So, you are gay?"
"I kinda like girls too....."
Lisa nodded. "So you are bi... "
Jungkook sighed. "What's the essence of this meeting? Did you call me just to ask personal questions about my life?"
She smiled "I'm sorry. It's just I wanted to see if you want to separate those two as badly as I do"
Jungkook shook his head. "You have no idea" He paused thinking to himself for a while before he spoke.
"I shouldn't tell you this but Jimin and I, our relationship is fake!"
Lisa shook "What?"
"We aren't in a real relationship. We did that in other to make Taehyung jealous" He rolled his eyes "It worked and now, they are head over heels in love with each other and it's only a matter of time before they dump us"
"That's not going to happen!" Lisa growled angry at the fact that Jimin had a plan all along. She suddenly smiled "Anyway, Taehyung won't be able to break up with me after I had the doctor give him false information"
Jungkook arched his eye brows "About what"
She grinned. "Taehyung thinks that my health is delicate and if he tries to break up with me, I might have a heart attack and die"
Jungkook chuckled. "That's genius!"
"It is right?"
She seemed serious "However, the one thing we can do right now is to keep them away from each other. You should ensure that you distract Jimin and I will do the same with Taehyung"
"Are you sure we can pull that off. No matter how apart they seem, they always find a way to be together"
Lisa frowned "Well that is something we have to stop"
She paused and looked at him closely. "I need you to be in on this with me and make sure no one else finds out about our meetings"
"I'm with you Lisa"
Lisa brought out her hand. "Partners?"
Jungkook shook her hand "Partners"
They smiled amicably and stared at each other hoping one wouldn't betray the other.
