Max grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him. I could feel his heart. It was beating as fast as mine. He placed his hand behind my neck and tried to kiss me,but I stopped him.
Max:what's wrong Cloe?
Cloe:I don't know max.. I don't know.. I..
Max:Cloe, if you don't like me, why do you want to hang out?
Cloe: What? No! I guess I'm just a little confused..
Max:about what?
Cloe: "a friend of mine" is confused about what she feels for a boy
Max:oh I see.. Well tell that friend that she should make a decision.. I'll try to visit you... Now I must go.. My parents are waiting for me.
He kissed my forehead and walked back to his car. I stood outside of my house waving at him.
Minutes later I decided to get inside of my house, cause it was getting cold.
I changed to my PJ and jumped to my bed. I stared at the ceiling and thought about what happened. Why wasn't I sure about max? Why was I thinking about Marcus so much? Ugh that boy did not leave my mind for a second..
I was full of doubts..
~the next day~
I woke up and went downstairs. My parents were there, dancing with their robes and listening to those terrible songs that only parents usually listen to and say that are gold.
Mom: Good morning Clobunny!
Cloe:mom! Don't call me that, I'm not 5 years old anymore.
Dad:yo Cloe!
Cloe:wow dad, you really try to act cool- I giggled
Dad:Well, there was this guy called Marcus that came here this morning. He said he wanted to talk with you
Mom:oh isn't that one of your friends?
Cloe:friend? No! Marcus is definitely not my friend - I mumbled
Why did he come to my house? And talk? Talk about what? I needed to know.
Dad: Cloe likes Marcus,Cloe likes Marcus!
My parents sang that the entire morning and I was sick of it,so I got ready.
Cloe:well, you guys can continue your amazing concert alone, cause I'm hanging out with Jessie
Dad:oh with Jessie or Marcus?
Cloe: shut up - I said smirking.
I turned my phone on and opened snapchat.

Marcus:slow down, let's enjoy lunch first.
