I was being followed.
I could sense it.
With an attacker on the streets, I feared for my life.
Do I run or do I turn around?
I start running for my life.
"Wait!" Her voice stops me mid-dash.
I turn around. It's Yeri.
Would I rather have it be her or the attacker? Right now, it's hard to choose.
I run over things I could say to her---snarky remarks.
Whose the stalker now?
Here to apologize?
Gunna cheat on Taehyung with me now?
I stand still and raise an eyebrow at her.
"I'm not here to apologize."
I turn around and keep walking.
"I AM HERE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IMPORTANT."
I turn back around and sigh. "I'll give you 2 minutes."
She blows the bangs out of her face. "I'm here to tell you that falling in love with him is a mistake. I might be a bitch in your eyes, but there are things you do not know. There are reasons for my and his actions. I recommend that you forgive and forget."
She starts walking away, her voice starting to break a little as she says,
"Because he won't be around for long."
