CHAPTER FIFTEEN | so close
"go left! straight!" joon shouted as the others follow the direction he said.
sounds coming from the wild boars pushed them to run more faster. eunmi groaned at the weight of her backpack and fastened her pace despite of the pain in her shoulder.
"why do we have to run? do they attack humans?" she yelled.
"you mean humans? like us, us humans?" kook asked and eunmi scratched her head.
"yes! you, us humans!"
"yes. they attack humans." kook answered and scratched her head again.
"do you have like lice? why are you scratching your head?" kook ran to her speed and lifted the bag on her back a little.
"who the heck would have after all this crazy sun shining even if its cold season already? do you think lice would like to live that?" she said as she widen her steps more.
she suddenly turned her eyes on him."why do you know about lice? only mostly girls have lice and you all are boys here."
"well there are monkeys and lost dogs roaming around here and joon hyung and i happen to see that they have lice." he said as all of them approached the last 10 meters of their 'house'.
"actually at first i didn't know the name of it but joon hyung soon told me. he said he saw it in the old book that he found." he added and the oinks of the pigs became louder.
"are you sure they attack? i mean look at them, they're just cute and all." eunmi asked and took a very quick glance at the boars.
"we all fell for them at first —"
"fell? we didn't fell to them kook. why would we fall? its not that we are thrown to them to fall to them." tae entered the conversation and kook huffed a breath.
"yeah?" jin followed.
"remember what yoongs hyung said? its not that fall like fall really. its just a term like we tolerated something or accepted something." kook explained and the others who thought like jin and tae agreed.
aerum laughed. "wow."
eunmi looked at her then continued her run. "so kook?....."
"oh well yeah. we fell for their cuteness and played with them but that didn't happen because they attack us. they were so scary trying to claw us." kook resumed was he was saying.
"we're here! go up everyone!" yoongs announced as they were very much close to the tree houses already.
joon who was ahead climbed up the first ladder of the first and the nearest treehouse. mina followed and so did the others.
of course minding the fact that they are just wearing short covers, all the girls that followed behind them looked at different directions to not see their privs.
"this sucks i actually wanted to see." doyeon complained and attempted to look up but aerum hit her feet.
kook forcefully but gently pushed eunmi to up the stairs quick. he was the last one to climb and fortunately he made it to the 5th stick before the boars can even surround the ladder.
"the ladder is shaking!" miyeon said as she felt the ladder tremble because of the turmoil by the wild pigs.
"shit! shit! shit!" chaeyoung cursed loudly and held unto the wood tightly.
jimin frowned and blinked his eyes. he then whispered. "shit, shit, shit. that just sounds so nice to me. should i try speaking it now?"
"i'll just ask my favorite hyung later." he shrugged.
all hurried to enter the treehouse and after they did it they rested and tried to calm their breaths.
"now that proves that anyone shouldn't look at the face and judge quickly before knowing it correctly." nayun said as she leaned on the corner and palmed her hammering heart.
"i was excited to get one. didn't know they attack." miyeon spoke and sat beside her.
"they're just cute and i didn't know they are dangerous." she added and pouted.
"not all cute are cute some are dangerous like you and you." doyeon jokingly said as she point nayun and miyeon.
mina laughed and so did aerum.
tae poked aerum's arm and she turned to him. "what's funny? is it funny? do i need to laugh?"
"w-wha....." aerum found his question very sarcastic and almost hit him to it when she remembered.
"well that's risky." eunmi commented and opened the window. she looked down and saw that there are still so many boars down there.
jin also looked down and patted joon's bare shoulder.
"we have to find ways to get to the other treehouse. we might starve if we won't get foods there." he said and joon looked at yoongs.
"how?"
"let me calm myself first. why won't you think yourself since you have the head?" yoongs told him with a hint of annoyance.
jimin and tae glared at yoongs at the same time.
"you rude yoongs hyung."
joon sighed and stared at yoongs. "you have a small yet packed brains so why won't you think yourself too?"
"oh? and why must i?"
"because you're older than me and i need your advice. my decision won't stand alone for your information!"
"what about jin then? are you saying you don't need his advice huh?"
"i need everyones advice but i want to hear yours first."
"you're just making up excuses! jin!!! he's trying to say you're stupid."
"you old thing why won't you just answer my question? why are you still delaying it? do you want our dogsaengs to die in hunger?" joon yelled in annoyance and all of the boys flinched.
"w-why a-are you sh-shouting? its sca-scary—wait! why did you only said dogsaengs? what about me whos older than you?" jin said as he furrow his eyebrows. he walked infront of joon and stared at him.
"huh? what about me who basically raised you all on my back? you...you....you!" jin closed his fists in the air and exhaled.
everyone went silent until hope opened his mouth to speak.
"raised on my back? you help us grow on your back hyung? we grew on your back?"
"hope hyung!" kook whined.

she held the lid of the lip tint as she watch her reflection on the mirror. she bit her lips as she slowly apply the tint with her finger.
just then a ding from her phone was heard but she didn't bother and continued to beautify herself.
she smiled at herself and finally grab her phone to take a selfie. a notification popped on the screen so she clicked it.
it was opened and she blinked her eyes as it was a message from her friend who didn't appear for days now with her other friends.
"i thought she's dead already." the lady whispered then viewed the message.
we are lost at the site that we decided to hike and there's no one to help us here. if you happen to read this then please send rescuers to get us here as soon as possible!🙏 -
the lady stared at the message and read it over and over again.
"eunmi doesn't usually use emoji." she thought and carefully typed a reply.
