Hi, my name is Nite.. and I have writer's block to say the least.
I was about to write or edit a lot of chapters during the free time I have available.. but I instead had the urge to just keep grinding games in Mobile Legends. Although, a part of me feels rather annoyed that I kept on having some sort of creativity block inside my head but most of the time, I just enjoy the games that I played with my friends.
Some of these games range from Ranked games to Classic games as I kept on grinding on masrery points I just want to have lots of expert medals on my heroes as it kinda makes me feel good that I have that shiny gold medal on many heroes despite not truly mastering them at all. Doing so really makes me open to every character's weakness and strengths as I try to use them on their full capabilities.
I had practiced a couple heroes on the fly due to grinding them a lot like Hayabusa. Some I took another step forward and actually gave my time to actually master them such as Chou. Some, i just play for fun like Nana or Pharsa as I won't probably use them in any circumstances in Ranked. But some.. make memorable moments for me as those matches really gave me those hype moments that make me keep playing the game.
What are those moments you ask?
Well.. those moments are still up to the day that I played, which was Season 1. Those were the days were Clint still had two guns with a Claude ultimate that was quite broken at the time. Those were the days where the game wasn't spammed with heroes that can dash, immune or have some crazy passive effects that make the game unbalanced.

With those out of the way, let me narrate those moments on the top of my head. Don't worry, these are a lot of moments and I will detail them enough that you can have a clear picture on what happened on that certain moment. Returning to what I said earlier, some of those times had different metas that are simply what I went to, especially the dreaded Moskov and Karrie meta that had drained my Tank pool to bits.
But yeah, enough of all those complaints of the past metagames, let us start with the most prominent memory of mine..

Looking at the score board, I was ahead of the entire team by a thousand gold at least. Playing as Odette as the opponent seemingly struggled with the rest of my team members bar the Moskov, who was struggling most of the time as the Lesley somehow managed to keep killing him. It was mystery to me but I decided to shrug it off as I walked to bot lane, intent on pushing the turret to have it down.
It was ten minutes in the match and the fights cooled down a bit. My friend, who was Johnson as the time, was recalling back to base as I cleared a few waves of minions.
"Bro, recall so we can gank a lane." He exclaimed. It was a strategy done to the O-dette (heh) as with the combo of Johnson and Odette leads to a deadly gank that guarantees a kill or two as the huge surge of CC and burst damage can instantly kill any squishy that couldn't react fast enough on a Johnson gank.
I agreed with the plan as I was done cleaning up a wave of minions. "Sure, recalling now." I responded as I went inside a bush and started recalling, checking the mini-map on where the enemies are for a good gank.
Seeing nothing as I went back in base, I shrugged as I threw caution to the wind and let Odette go inside of Johnson's ult. Engines roar within the fountain as my friend went full speed ahead to Mid lane, avoiding the turrets along the way as he drove straight down...
...on to four unsuspecting enemies that were grouping up to push up to my team's mid tower.
I heard my friend yell in a happy surprise manner as he crashed into them with great gusto, the stunning all of them with the crash. I had a huge smile on my face as I instantly pressed my ultimate, dealing huge damage to the opponent team as my friend used Petrify and his first skill to keep them in range.
"Ally has slain an enemy!"
"Double Kill!"
"Triple Kill!"
"Maniac!"
Announcement blared over my friend's phone speakers (as I usually have my phone muted when playing Mobile Legends) as me and my friend kept chuckling at what just happened. The Moskov on the opponent team suddenly went in on me with first skill as he started to auto attack me. He wasn't dealing that much damage as he didn't have much items under his belt and I had way more items that he had currently.
Launching my first skill to literally leave him at half health, I auto'd to trigger the bouncing notes as my friend hit him with a first skill once more. Glowing at low HP, he tried to escape but he got hit by my second skill at the time that he tried to first skill away.
"Savage!"
Stifling a chuckle, the opponent team surrendered after that play as me and my team went to destroy the last turret. My friend was just laughing at the background, really amused at the fact that I just got an unintentional savage because of my opponent's unfortunate moment.

Of'course, Savages are one of the most memorable things in Mobile Legends as it is rather rare to achieve five kills in a row without getting the last one kill escaping or getting killed off by one of your team mates. Although, it was rather easy since it was JohnDette we are talking about, a duo that has a lot of power on team fights with their ultimate combo.
Anyways, we moved on to a rather sad memory that reminds me to keep having data in the midst of a game. By the way, most of these recent memories are during the time I was in school when I was playing with my friends. That is why quite a lot of them are memorable due to my friend's reactions.

"Lord! Lord! Are they at Lord?!" One of my friends exclaimed as his character, which was Layla, respawned once more in the map. As Ruby, I walked by the bush near the Lord with no one in sight, quite relieved that the opponent team hasn't started it yet.
"Nope, they didn't." I responded.
"Probably would be a good time to plan an ambush?" My other friend suggested.
Twenty minutes within the match and it was rough, I was Ruby and I was managing well despite my friends dying constantly to ganks from Gusion and Fanny. Heck, I was surprised that we are lasting this long as we usually have two members survive and clear the waves.
My two friends were connected to my data via hotspot since they don't have data... which I was quite reluctant on sharing since I didn't remember on how much MB left I had on my data plan. Well, that didn't cross my mind when the game was going through late game, I was simply just focused on trying to catch one of the opponent's team mates off guard so my Selena can use her skills and kill that person quickly before the rest could respond.
But the other team had the same idea as a dagger was thrown at my direction, tagging me with it. Gusion suddenly dashed at me with the first skill mark, intent of killing me before a major team fight starts as I was the one who manages to keep CC'ing all of them enough for my team to survive. I launched my first skill backward and did second skill to stun him from using second skill.
Then, he got hit by Selena's projectile, stunning him even further as she barged in, killing him with her combo. Yet Fanny and a Hayabusa came in and quickly bursted Selena down as I managed to escape the brunt of the damage by moving with passive backwards and constantly regen'ing with first skill-
Game reconecting..
My eyes widened at this as my other two friends were shocked at the sudden freeze of the game.
"Why is the game reconnecting?"
"Do you have signal, Nite?"
Suddenly, a message popped up from my notification bar, which caused me to blink in surprise as I wasn't expecting it.
"You currently have 5 MB in your data plan, please register to another promo-"
I sighed heavily as I leaned back on my chair more. "Well, I don't have enough data to continue the game."
My other friend, who played Layla, simply groaned in frustration. "Aw, damnit. We could've out lasted them in late game if the game went through long enough."
I nodded as I just simply closed the app. "Probably next time... I need to check first before playing a game.."
The friend who played Selena simply just leaned back on his chair, chuckling a bit as he placed his phone on the desk. "Ahhh... we could've won thattt...!"

Quite unfortunate, right? I guess I had learned quite a valuable lesson that I should check my data cap before I move on to play a game...
Well.. anyways, what was the longest game you ever had of Mobile Legends? To me, I had roughly thirty five minutes of a Ranked Game playing as Chou around the time it was Season 8. It was the time that I was still mastering him to the point that I want to be more comfortable with his combos and it was the time that I was climbing to Legend V via SoloQ.
I didn't expect that match to last that long as it was a time were Lesley was OP and it was extreme late game that I thought we would get outmatched either way. Yet, even despite what it seemed to be a big boon on the opponent side, team work always prevailed.

Thirty five minutes on the timer, it was kinda mentally taxing at this point. Death timers exceeded sixty seconds, making every death seemed like an enternity to comeback and try again. As Chou, it was incredibly tough to even think of ambushing the enemy backline with the likes of Johnson and Balmond protecting them. Plus, Lesley just two taps the Karina and Natalia team mates I have as they were the ones responsible on killing her.
It was our lead however as the opponent team was inside their base for protection. Natalia was residing inside of the bush, intent on waiting out for Lesley to come out so they could kill her. She was the only threat of the team as their other damage dealers, Lapu - Lapu and Saber, aren't the most skillful folks out there.
Yet they managed to hang on this long due to the Lesley player's pro skill as she managed to escape my team's grasp every single time and defends the waves, even a Lord-powered up one, with relative ease. I couldn't question why it took this long as the fact the Karina and Natalia of my team was rather... a mixed bag to say the least.
And so, walking to the mid lane to simply see what they are doing, I have Aurora and Miya with me. They weren't doing great as well as Karina had been stealing most of the kills so far, leaving them quite starved in the gold department. Not to mention that the Johnson ganks earlier had pulled them back even further till they managed to farm back decently.
I was in a full Armor defense as they didn't have anyone that was dealing any recognizable chunk of magic damage. Lesley was the only one who was dealing any amount of damage to me, right around the seven hundred damage mark per shot of hers. She would have dealt more if she had Endless Battle but she didn't to forgo more attack speed to defend the minions well as they didn't have the best wave clear either.
Noticing that Karina started to walk up as Lesley was near the wall, I don't know what they heck she was gonna do. I know to myself that she can't kill her off in one combo as she had Rose Gold Meteor to counteract the damage. Yet, I glanced off as I knocked up the charging Balmond with first skill to inable his spinning capabilities.
"Enemy has been slain!"
My eyes widened at that message as I saw both Karina and Natalia frantically running away from the other members of the opponent team as Saber and Lapu- Lapu tried to catch them. They had killed Lesley, in a way that I thought was an impossibilty at the time as they simply had done it. Saber managed to catch up to Karina with his Triple Sweep but was immediately put down by Natalia's auto attacks before he could finish the job.
My Miya immediately went beserk as she started to go on the offensive as none of the remaining members on the opponent side could pose a threat to her no longer. I ran to the front line as Johnson tried to ram her with his ultimate but I tanked his damage and knocked him to both Miya and Aurora, who made quick work of him due to Aurora's burst pulverizing through his full Armor defense.
Only two left on the enemy side with Lesley's death timer on thirty seconds, I knew this was the only shot we had or else this game would draw out even longer. Lapu - Lapu managed to kill off Karina for some reason but it didn't matter as we battered the last tier turret down that protected the base.
Minions piled in as Balmond tried to defend their base but Miya simply destroyed the Nexus with her auto attacks.
The nexus exploded, concluding the rather hellish thirty five minute game that I had dreaded of losing. A victory icon flashed into my screen, giving me a small smile in my face as I placed my phone down, breathing out a small sigh of relief. The adrenaline of the game never wore off like the smile on my face as I won a very long game.

Those games that literally push me to the breaking point from how long and intense it came along as we could have lost from a single mistake. There were a lot of these instances but that was the only one that I had remembered quite clearly. Although, I vaguely remembered one Kagura game that lasted twenty seven minutes when I was playing her on my other account...
But anyways, let's move on to another rather funny instance of using something that is completely broken to the next level. Right around Season one or two, there was a bug with Blade of Destruction that granted Balmond one thousand damage per second on his second skill. Right now, it is patched as it was seriously broken on how it had happened.
But before... well, here is one moment that it was indeed broken.

Clearing the jungle, I was simply just farming up some items as my team was doing okay on the middle lane. Using Balmond, I had him built with full damage, intent to deal as much damage to the opponent team. I already had seven kills in eight minutes on my belt, making me the most threatening member on my team.
"Ally has been slained!"
"Double Kill!"
"Ally has been slained!"
Those announcement blared over my phone speakers as I saw the opponent team, composed of Layla, Miya, Franco, other Balmond and Bruno, had almost wiped my team from an unsuspecting ambush. I checked the scoreboard to see that they didn't have much items on their belt.
I grinned. It was Classic and I decided to test out how much damage I could deal.
Knowing the Franco used his ultimate on one of the members of my team, I rushed in all of them with first skill, spinning around like a storm of blades. Miya dropped like a fly after just a couple seconds of me spinning through them and Layla followed her to her doom. Balmond and Franco tried to fight me off but I dealt way too much damage and killed them off wjth my Ultimate.
"Quadrakill!" That announcement popped off the top of my screen that gave me a huge smile on my face. It was quite funny that it actually worked out that way as Bruno literally ran away in fear of giving me the last kill.
"Oh, looks like your team just got wiped out by Balmond only." One of my team mates typed in all chat, making me chuckle a bit as the game continued. The opponent team were more careful next time they approached mid lane.

Those are one of the times I can say, damn, it feels good to abuse a bug like that. Those were the times that Franco can pull you to their fountain by recalling by the way so you can say that Season 2 was fairly buggy unlike now that it is riddled with lots of targeting bugs and alike.
Anyways, those are some of the many moments that had me kept playing this game. There are a lot more that had given me the drive to continue but the most drive that gave me to play the game was my friends. I had always wanted to impress my friends in some way and I had made friends with this game, alongside this fantastic community I am in now.
I may not see myself leaving at all as I simply want to keep playing the game till I reach the point that I am actually tired of playing it. Sure, I had those thoughts that I want to stop playing because the heroes were too broken like the Karrie meta and the most recent one, the Kimmy meta, that had me rethink my thoughts on playing the game. Heck, I had stopped playing for a month or so before because how boring it went for me at the time till more of my friends played that I eventually came back and grinded with them.
I love the game, I hate the company. I hate some parts of the toxic community but I love some of the good things about the community. And those stuff is the things I live by in why I am here and still writing fanfics about this game. I may have slowed down in writing many of these contents, to the point that I simply wanted to stop writing them altogether, but I can't as I still have more ideas to share to everyone about the Land of Dawn, on how many things can be creatively made done by the millions of players through art or writing.
In that way, you won't see me stop writing about this as well... as 2019 is coming in with more content about Mobile Legends!
