"Ohhhhh date night" Jessi coo'd "What you gonna wear?"
I shrugged looking at her on FaceTime "I don't know. He texted me talking about dress nice"
"Wear something that make that ass look craaaazy" she said joking
"You always want me to wear something that shows my ass" I said as i dug through my closet "What about this?"
She eyed the dress "Stretchy material?"
I rolled my eyes "Yes child"
She gave me two thumbs up "Wear it!!"
I slide the dress on, i look in the mirror with my head cocked to the side.
"Mami you look goooood" She hyped me up
"You don't think with the boobs out it looks desperate?" I asked
She rolled her eyes "Girl no"
I grabbed my phone going into the bathroom to brush my hair and put on some lip gloss. It vibrated.
Unknown Number: I'm finna pull up
"He's almost here" i said almost hyperventilating
Jessi smiled "Girl calm down! Remember it's just Rashad. Stay calm cool and collected"
I nodded looking at myself one last time before grabbing my purse and keys to my house.
"Stay safe. Text me or call me if you need me" she said
I nodded and we said our goodbyes by the time i walked downstairs and there was a knock at the door.
I open it to be greeted by a finely dressed Rashad.
He licked his lips and opened his mouth to i assume greet me but nothing came out.
"You look good" he complimented me
I smiled walking out the door "You do too"
I heard him mumbling as he walked behind me. I'm sure it was somebody about my ass. He open the car door for me and then got in on his side. He drove off.
"So where we going?" I asked
He looked at me and flashed me a smile "Just sit back and you'll see"
Within 20 minutes we were parked at my favorite restaurant.
"Zora's!" I got excited "I love this place"
He got out opening my car door "So I've heard"
We walked inside and went straight to the Maître d'
"I got a reservation for two under Johnson" he spoke
The man smiled grabbing two menus and leading us to our booth. I looked around, everything about this beautiful restaurant just made me happy.
The pink decor was just one of my many reasons for loving it.
"Hi! I'm Sid, I'll be your waitress for the night. What would you all like to drink?" A waitress came up and asked us
"Just a water with lemon please" i ordered
"Letmme get uh sweet tea" Rashad said "Please"
I giggled at his hood self trynna be mannerly.
"I'll be right back with those and whenever your ready I'll take you alls order" She smiled at us before walking away
I looked at Rashad "What you know bout Zora's?"
He laughed "I'on know nothing. I just wanted to take you somewhere you'd like so i asked Jessi and she directed me here"
I laughed. That Jessi she always knew exactly what to tell niggas.
"The food is amazing" i went on about the place "And it's so pretty" i looked around the restaurant taking it all in
"Not too much prettier than what I'm lookin at"
My eyes instantly went to him and he was staring directly at me. I blushed picking up my menu scanning it.
"What you gonna get? Since this yo spot, what's good on the menu?" He asked
"Everything" i said giggling
He laughed looking over his menu clearly thinking hard. I glanced at him every now again, admiring his tattoos, nice brown eyes, smooth skin, and this nice lips.
"Stop starring at this man before he catch you" Was the thought that echoed through my head
He looked at me and our eyes met "See something you like?"
I shrugged "Eh"
I went back to searching my menu even though i knew exactly what i wanted.
The waiter returned with our drinks and we decided we were ready to order.
"I'd like to order your Cajun jerk Alfredo pasta. I do wanna add sautéed mushrooms." I spoke
She quickly wrote down my order "And you sir?"
"The shrimp and steak dinner with the mashed potatoes please" he said
She wrote it took up our menus and left us at the table in silence.
"So" he broke the silence "Tell me bout to self"
"What you wanna know?" I asked
He shrugged "Anything you're willing to tell me"
I thought for a moment "Ok, well of course you already know my name and who i be around so I'll skip all that. Um I'm the youngest girl of two kids, I'm originally from Houston, Texas"
"Them Texas girls always be beautiful" he mentioned making me giggle
I kept talking "I moved here with my mom when I was like 14. I am in college online"
He leaned back in his seat "So pretty and smart? A good combination"
"What about you trapper of the year?" I said
He scratched head "Born and raised right here in the city, I'm the oldest of two kids I got a little sister. And I'm not a trapper, I'm a business man"
We both laughed at the business man part.
"I seen you and that nigga Kyle at the party, are y'all....." he trailed off
"Nosey self" i laughed "But no, he's been trynna talk to me since highschool and everytime he gets shot down"
"Making room for me?" He said raising his eyebrows
The waitress came with our food setting it down infront of us and leaving the table.
I rolled my eyes laughing "Don't flatter yourself baby boy"
"Why you just can't admit you thinking I'm cute and wanna rockin wit the kid"
I sighed playing with my food with my fork. I looked up at him.
"Okay, you're kinda fly i guess. And you're not as bad as i thought you'd be" i confessed
He grinned "I knew it!"
We laughed and chatted while we ate our food. He's really not anything how i thought he was. He's funny, actually really smart and he's charming.
"Why'd you give up the basketball scholarship?" I asked resting my chin on my knuckles
He shrugged "I had to. I had to take care of my mama and my sister. Won't no way I could leave the city in the neighborhood we was staying at"
I nodded understanding "Well you know, you always could go back to school"
He laughed "Me? In school? Nahhhh. I had my shot. This just who I am now"
"But it doesn't have to be. Shit you're really smart. Don't limit yourself because of a minor set back" i told him
He nodded "Mmmm i guess it's something to think about"
We just kept staring into each other eyes without saying another word and before i knew it we were leaving into each other. He placed his hand on the side of my face ready to go for the kiss.
I stopped myself "Uh um this was nice"
I backed away from him and he did the same. It was quite awkward.
"Yeah it was" he sighed out
We sat there quietly sipping our drinks until the check came.
"Oh i can pay for my food" i said grabbing my purse
He laughed handing the check back to the waitress "No date of mine is paying for her food"
"Well fine I'll leave the tip" i left a $20 dollar bill on the table
We got up leaving outta the restaurant and again we were in that awkward silence until he broke it.
"So after tonight, imma get that second date?" He asked licking his lips and looking at me
I smiled "Mmmm I'll considerate it"
He chuckled and continued driving until we pulled up to a red light.
"I really enjoyed tonight" i confessed "You know how to treat a woman on a date"
He smiled at me and leaned over kissing my forehead. As he pulled away we were back staring in each other's eyes. This time i was gonna go alllllllllll the way. We both leaned in for that kiss and just went for it.
We just sat there at the light kissing, tonguing each other down. He put his hand around my neck making sure i wouldn't move away from this kiss.
It was just something about him. Maybe it was the bad boy in him or whatever but he just gets me hot in my panties.
A car horn blew at us and the kiss instantly broke.
"The light is green" i breathed out
He turned his head straight and drove off. After a short drive we were back at my house.
"Thanks for tonight. Get home safely and be safe" i said stepping outta his car as he opened my door
He smiled "I will"
We hugged and yet again that just led to another kiss. This time deeper, full of tongue and passion. He gripped my ass like nobody had ever before. I just know this man is slanging life changing pipe.
I broke it "Um uh Goodnight Rashad"
I dug my keys out my purse as he let me go
"Goodnight Amour"
As i walked into my house, he drove off.
