You knew it and she knew it too. You would have to arrest her for the sake of the operation. You hated seeing her in that cell, and you hated having to pretend like you hated her.
"Let me in to talk to her," you instruct an officer.
"You want backup," he asks in disbeleif.
"I can handle her," you say.
"You sur-"
"open the damm cell would ya!"
He jumps a little but allow you access. As soon as you step in you see her.
"Both of you knew you were being recorded", so you spoke in cryptic codes.
"What do you want", she spat with a devious smirk to hide her smile.
"The truth," you say strongly
"I have no truth to tell", she says softly.
You walk towards her and wrap your hand around her throat. She looks up at you, her eyes saying things her mouth cant bare.
You stare at her for a moment, appreciating her soft features until she mouthes the word, 'daddy'.
You fight to keep a straight face and let her go. She starts laughing and you turn and leave.
To them it looks like she is taunting the police. But you know, she is teasing her partner in crime.....
