I'd like to say that this book is a work of fiction. That being said, nothing in this book is true. Anything that happens to pertain to real life is a mere coincidence. Alex is an asshole. That's the whole premise of his character. He's not some lovey, sweet character the constantly dotes on girls. He's not going to change his ways over time. He is who he is and though he might stop being such an a-hole some of the time, he'll never be Noah from the Notebook. So I'd just like to prepare you for that.
