With a sigh, you blink your eyes open gently, seeing the golden yellow light shine in through the windows of the Leaky Cauldron. As you stir lightly, you feel Draco's strong arms wrapped around you protectively. Smiling, you think about how long you've wanted this to happen. He's finally back and yours forever and nothing's going to stop that. Draco nuzzles his head into the crook of your neck ask he wakes up and presses a few gentle kisses against your skin.
"Good morning, Princess," he whispers lovingly into your ear.
"Good morning," you reply with a smile.
"Ready to go kick Astoria out of our lives once and for all?" he asks, cuddling you closer. You nod sitting up, swinging your feet down to the ground and walking over to Scorpius's crib. You pick your baby up and hold him close, brimming with happiness as you feel his little heartbeat against your chest. Draco comes up behind you and smiles down at his son.
"He's beautiful, isn't he?" you ask Draco who chuckles in response.
"How can you even ask that? He's a Malfoy," Draco laughs.
"I forgot how cocky you get," you sigh with a slight eye roll. "... but I love you for it, you idiot."
"Love you, too," he says, hugging both of you.
After you break away from Draco's embrace, you hand Scorpius to Draco to feed and you start to pack up your things to take back to the manor. As you fold your shirts up, you look over to Draco who's gently holding a bottle of formula for his son to drink. An enormous grin spreads over Draco's face as his son stares up at him. You finish your packing and roll your luggage over to the pair.
"He looks like you, y/n," Draco laughs as you both exit the room, Draco still holding the baby. You shake your head.
"He looks more like you. After I gave birth, the only thing I could think about is how much he resembles you," you sigh. "I'm not sure if it was the shape of his face or the little wisps of blonde hair."
As you and Draco talk about Scorpius, Draco hands you Scorpius and takes your bags downstairs; once a gentleman always a gentleman. With a smile, the three of you apparate away to Malfoy Manor. As the swirl of the world around you disappears, you find yourself in front of the iron gates of Malfoy Manor once again.
"Ready?" Draco asks you, taking your hand. You inhale deeply, apprehensive. "There's no need to be worried, y/n. After this, it'll be just you, me, and Scorpius. Astoria will be no more and we can finally have the life we've always wanted," he continues excitedly. With a nod, you both walk through the gates, your luggage dragging behind you in the gravel. Going up to the gigantic double doors, you push them open, ready to face Astoria. You and Draco both step in and there's nobody to be seen. Draco looks over to you and you nod over to him. He straightens up.
"Astoria!" he shouts up the stairs. Immediately, footsteps can be heard coming hastily down the stairs, but it's not just one set. There are more people here. Coming into view, you see Astoria followed by another young woman and an older couple.
"Shit," Draco sighs under his breath, running his fingers through his hair. "It's her family..."
"Oh, my God... What are they doing here?!" you gasp.
"It's okay... It's okay..." Draco reassures. "We've got this."
"Draco!" Astoria says happily, going up to him and wrapping her arms around him tightly, a gesture which Draco does not return. She seems to not notice your presence. "I was getting worried when you didn't come back last night, but I'm glad you're safe and home."
"What are your parents and sister doing here, Astoria?" Draco asks coldly.
"Well... I wanted them to be here because I thought that we should have them over. Now that that y/l/n girl's out of the picture for real, we can really be together and you can meet my parents for real this time...," she smiles innocently. "Isn't this wonderful?"
"No," Draco shakes his head curtly and Astoria and her family are in shock.
"Wait... What?" Astoria squeaks. "What do you mean 'no'...? We can be together now! We're in love! You gave me the ring!"
She tries to rush forward and kiss him, acting as if he's being silly, but Draco pushes her away, avoiding her lips.
"I don't want to be with you!" Draco shouts in frustration. "What don't you get about that?"
"Why, Draco...? What changed?" Astoria starts to cry.
"I'm with y/n. She's the one I'm destined to be with. It was never you... It took me too long to realise it. I was ungrateful. I took her for granted and I shouldn't have," Draco says confidently.
"You surely don't mean that! She's nothing compared to me!" Astoria cries, her cheeks becoming red with anger.
"No! I'm leaving you! I want you out of my house!" Draco orders, pointing the four of them to the door. "Now!"
"No! You can't leave me!" Astoria shouts back, tears streaming down her face. "I love you! We were great together..."
She walks up to Draco, her face inches from his.
"Wasn't the sex great, babe?" she whispers in his ear, trying to be seductive, but he forces her away.
"We're through!" Draco barks.
"No! We can't be!"
"Why the fuck not?!"
"Because I'm pregnant!" she screams.
"Astoria? Is this true?" her mother asks, shock and happiness spreading over her face. Astoria nods and her father takes her hands.
"Yes! I am and it's Draco's!" she smiles triumphantly.
"You are going to be a wonderful mother and your child will have a wonderful life with amazing parents!" he says.
"Congratulations, Astoria!" her sister says, giving her a hug.
"We must have you two married! Astoria can't have her child without a father!" Astoria's father declares
"NO!" Draco bellows. "I am not going to marry Astoria."
Draco walks over to you and takes your hands.
"This is y/n," he says, facing Astoria and her family. "She is the love of my life and I belong with her. We already have a son! This is my family and you aren't going to rip us apart!"
"Correction, young man," Astoria's father says. "You're ripping a family apart by being with this y/l/n girl. She had Scorpius already and you're just now getting together with her. She's been fine on her own as a single mother up to this point and Astoria is just now pregnant with your baby. Leaving Astoria will be leaving a deserving child without a father when this other one was just fine already!"
"That's some twisted bullshit!" Draco shouts. "We used spells! There is no way she can be pregnant with my child!"
"Miracles happen every day, Draco!" she says, happiness dripping from her voice. She looks over to you with a malicious smirk and then down at Scorpius. "I'm pregnant with your baby and we're going to be together forever. Nobody can stop this."
"We must go plan the ceremony! The wedding must happen soon before Astoria gets too much bigger!" her mom smiles. "I'm going to be a grandmother! This is all we've ever wanted! Our line will continue!"
"Come along, Malfoy!" Astoria's dad declares, grabbing his arm and dragging him over to the group of Geengrasses.
"No! You are not taking Draco away from me! We belong together! Scorpius needs his dad! We're still legally married!" you shout storming over to the group. Astoria chuckles and walks over to you, putting a hand on your shoulder.
"That can be fixed...," Astoria whispers into your ear with a smile. She looks over to her parents and she grabs Draco's hand and apparates away with everyone else. A tear falls down your cheek as Scorpius starts to cry loudly, his wails echoing up the staircase.

It's been two weeks since Draco disappeared and you haven't been able to reach him. Every time you go searching, nothing comes up. There are no clues or traces. Draco and Astoria's family are nowhere to be found. It's as if they've been vaporised. You walk aimlessly around Malfoy Manor, taking care of Scorpius, but all the happiness has left. You don't even smile anymore when you look into Scorpius's eyes because they remind you of Draco's. Everything reminds you of him and by the end of the day, you are often reduced to tears. After days and days of loneliness, an owl comes through the window holding a letter addressed to Draco from his parents. Curious, you open up the letter. It reads:
Dear Draco,
We apologise for the briefness of our letter.
We are very sorry to hear about y/n and Scorpius's sudden death in the fire. We would have loved to meet your first born and wife. We send our condolences and if you need our support in any way, we will be there for you. Like Astoria has asked us to do, we have registered y/n's death with the Ministry and all affairs are in order.
On the other hand, we have been informed of your engagement to Astoria Greengrass and we will be attending the wedding on the 7th at the Greengrass's place. At first, we were shocked that you wanted to get married so soon after y/n's death, but we support your decisions. We shall see you very soon.

Anger flooding your veins, you rip up the letter into tiny pieces and throw them out the window and scream.
"That bitch told everyone we were dead just to be able to marry Draco! The nerve of that woman!" you shout. "She won't get away with this!"
You write to one of your old friends from school to get a sitter for Scorpius and begin to devise your plan.

Flowers and ribbons decorate the Greengrass's manor and Astoria fixes her hair upstairs after fitting herself into a gigantic frilly ballgown covered in tulle and fake crystals with beading. She smiles triumphantly as she applies her last bit of makeup. She covers her lips with a rose red lipstick and smacks her lips together and smirks. Daphne walks in wearing a flowy green dress with a white rose in her hair.
"Sis, the ceremony is going to start," she says and Astoria smirks, standing up and walking out the door down to the outdoor garden area where friends and family gather together to celebrate, chit-chatting together happy for the couple. The music starts and the wedding party walks down the aisle. When it's Draco's turn, he looks to the ground unhappily. He stands and for a moment looks out at the sea of people all dressed up to witness his wedding, but his heart breaks as he sees Astoria walking toward him in the wedding dress. Astoria waves proudly at her wedding guests, a smirk on her face as she looks to Draco. She meets him up by the marriage officiant. The crowd sits down as the music stops. The officiant clears his throat.
"Welcome friends and family. We are here today to join two beautiful souls in matrimony. Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass. never in my life have I ever seen love as pure and honest as this one," he says with a smile. "If anyone would like to come up and say a few words, please do so now."
Everything fades as friends and family of Astoria's come up and talk about their love for Draco. His stomach churns with nervousness and pain. This isn't where he should be. He should be with you and Scorpius. He looks over to his parents who are watching silently, enjoying the ceremony. As the last speaker sits down, the officiant smiles.
"Now, do we have any objections to this marriage?" he asks, still looking down and not expecting anyone to say anything.
"I do!" you shout, walking down the aisle, your eyes burning with passion. Everyone gasps, your appearance eliciting murmurs along the lines of 'I thought she was dead" and such. Astoria screams and throws her bouquet to the side in anger, the flowers falling apart at her bridesmaid's feet.
"No! Get out! This is my day!" she yells at you. "Nobody invited you!"
"I don't give a shit about your day! How dare you take my husband away from me!" you shout back. "You told everyone I was dead so you could marry my husband! You make me sick, Astoria Greengrass!"
People gasp and look around, thoroughly shocked. They start to get up and leave, but Astoria shrieks.
"No! Don't go away! The ceremony isn't over! We haven't said our vows!" she yells.
"You lied to us, Astoria!" people in the crowd yell. Her cheeks burn red in anger.
"No! I'm this close and you just had to ruin it, y/l/n!" she says, her blood boiling. "I almost had him! I've been trying for years and you were always in my way, now that my big day is here, you had to barge in and blow it to pieces! I don't even know how you got the date! Ever since Daphne failed at becoming Draco's girlfriend at Hogwarts, I knew what I had to do to finally be better than my fucking sister! I was going to have Draco Malfoy, the guy she always wanted! He was going to be mine but you were always in the way! My plan was foolproof! Foolproof I tell you! You were gone and heartbroken and I could've had him all to myself!"
"This was your plan all along wasn't it? You've always wanted Draco, you life ruiner!" you spit. "I bet you aren't even pregnant with his baby!"
Astoria freezes in her tracks, her cheeks blazing crimson and her eyes wild.
"You aren't are you... You lied!" you shout.
"SO WHAT?! The Ministry will never believe any of you! There is a death certificate with your name on it sitting in a dusty file cabinet the Ministry!" Astoria shouts, drawing her wand on the crowd. "I guess I'll just erase all your memories and Draco will be mine!"
"Stupefy!" Draco shouts and Astoria is sent flying backwards, landing in the fountain with an enormous splash, sending the lotuses floating in the water flying. Her parents rush over to her aid while Daphne Greengrass stands there in utter shock.
"Draco!" you smile, running over to your husband, kissing him on the lips. He immediately starts to cry onto your shoulder.
"You were brilliant, love," Draco sighs, holding you close by your waist.
"Let's go home, Draco," you whisper to him. He nods with a smile and you take hands and apparate home.
