Dylan and Sam met again in the staff room. Their shift had finished and they were getting ready to go.
"Big Mac said he was buying drinks tonight, shall we go?" Sam asked
"I suppose I should go, I'm not drinking though" Dylan said
"I'll go for one drink and then we'll go home and have that bottle I was eye-balling this morning" Sam smiled
"Ok. Let's go" Dylan took his jacket and walked out of the ed with Sam. They followed the herd of their colleagues into the pub
The whole gang sat around the big table at the back of the pub. Dylan went to get Sam a drink. While he was gone, Zoe questioned Sam.
"Hi you must be the new doctor!" She greeted her
"Yes, I'm Sam" Sam smiled
"I'm Zoe Hanna. So, where are you from?" Zoe asked. At this point Dylan sat down between them and passed Sam her drink
"I'm from Holby but I have been going around from country to country with the army" Sam replied, "thanks Dylan" she smiled
"You're not getting a drink Dylan?" Zoe questioned
"No, I have to drive home" Dylan crossed his arms and leaned back on his chair
By the time Sam had finished her drink the karaoke had started. This gave the pair an opportunity to sneak out unnoticed. They disappeared as Lloyd took to the stage. They got into Dylan's car and went back to the harbour. They boarded the boat and Dylan got the glasses out while Sam got the fizz.
They sat at the sofa getting more tipsy. After finishing the bottle they were drunk. Sam had her legs over Dylan's and he had his head rested against the back of the sofa. Dylan got the blanket out that he used the night before and he put it over them. They then fell asleep on the old leather seat and Dylan's head fell next to Sam's.
