"Channel have you thought about your father and going to see him?" Asked Dad as I walked to the phototshoot session with my dark glasses on.
"No sorry I've been so busy." I say sitting down on the chair where John and Lucy were already there. I can't trust no other make up artist other than them. Josie had my drink in her hand. Dad called me to tell me about how the people from my old pack keep calling.
I honestly don't care nor want to go. I don't think I will. I'm a busy woman.
"Honey I keep telling them that you are so busy right now that your can't find time to go." Says my dad sighing. "I just don't like being mean. I can hear how much the people calling voice breaks when I say that."
I rolled my eyes. Bullshit. They don't care. The photographer and people around where finishing getting the set ready.
"Okay Dad bye I'm getting ready I'll call you later." I say.
"Alright princess. Remember stay safe." He saying leaving me to it.
"Okay so apparently we are going for a fitness theme cover for the magazine." Says John looking at the his brushes.
"So I'm to have her hair looking wet." Says Lucy concentrating. "For the first part of the shoot and bring it back for the second part."
"So continue one with the story." Says John moisturizing my face.
"Oh yeah okay."
Ten years ago
All my food went on Romans expensive suit. That was least of my worries. He's my mate.
I couldn't help but be happy.
"I'm so sorry Alpha." Says my mom walking up to me grabbing me by arm roughly. I winced in pain.
"Roman." Says Amelia walking up to him. Her hand went on his chest.
"Is this the wolfless girl." He says looking at me with emotion that I can't read.
"Yeah are you okay." She asked worried.
"I'm fine." He says walking away. Seeming pissed. He didn't tell them that I'm his mate. Maybe he's going to have a private conversation with them about it.
It would be weird since I'm fifteen and he's twenty two. That means he going to have to wait for me to be older. I'm just happy that I know who it is.
Then it hit me. I'm mated to the Alpha of the pack.
My mother dragged me away from the gathering.
"Can't you just stop being an embarrassment for a minute." She says slapping me. Shit that hurt. "That was the Alpha you bumped into. He going to make your sister Luna."
"He can-" I say short by my mother.
"Go to the fucking house and stay there." She says.
"Walking?"
She can't be serious that's a four hour walk and I'm hungry.
"Yes walk and go away." She says walking away joining the pack gathering putting on a smile.
As I walked home. I wonder how would everyone react to me being mated to Roman.
My sister would freak out but she will probably wait for her mate. Then again I see why she would want to be with him. Roman and his family at the richest family in town also he's the Alpha. Being Luna comes with a lot of respect from the people around. It's an amazing tittle to have.
Why didn't he tell my parents right away that I was him mate. Then that probably would have saved me from getting slapped from my mother.
When I arrived to the house. I instantly went to my room to sleep. Only to be woken up by a knock on the door.
I open it.
It was Roman there.
Omg. I couldn't help but blush. My heart was beating loud and my body tingled. I'm afraid he could here my heart. He's here at the house. Where are my family. From what I could see he wasn't with them. So that means they are at the gathering still.
"Your name is Channel?" He asked. He looked uncomfortable.
"Yeah." I squeaked slightly. He cursed as he looked at the sky annoyed.
"You are just a little girl and to top that off you haven't shifted yet. You are not fit to be a luna." He says plainly.
"Wait what?" I say confused. Of course I'm not fit to be a Luna. I'm barely fifteen.
"I can't be mated to someone like you." He says.
Okay I'm offended me.
"Because I'm Mexican?" I say crossing my arms. The nerve of this man. That's so rascist.

Present time
"Wait you thought he rejected you because you are Mexican?" Says John laughing.
"Wait so what I'm hearing is that he rejected you because you were not fit to be a Luna due to you not being able to shift and because the age." Says Lucy making a a face. "I get the age part but he could have waited. Like you were going to get older."
"That's what I'm saying. Hold up in not done yet."

Ten years ago
"What are you talking about. I'm not rejecting you because you are Mexican. But because my family would not be happy with a girl that can't shift to be my mate and luna." He says crossing his arms.
"So you are rejecting me?" I asked. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My held my breath. My feeling where being shredded apart. "Do you like my sister?"
He sighed picking his nose.
"Yes your sister I'm very fond of her. I mean look at her she's perfect." He says amazed. "And as for rejecting you I think it's for the best."
"Please don't." I say begging him. "If it's the age you are worried about. Trust me I'll grow older. Like believe it or not but, I get a year older each year." I say choking up. My heart felt like it was breaking.
"Look kid. One day you'll thank me." He says.
How can I thank him for something like this. He's my mate.
"Does my sister know?" I asked.
"Yes." He says.
I knew she didn't like me. But to be okay with being with Roman knowing he's my mate. That a new low.
"Please don't do this. I have not finished growing yet. I'll probably be able to shift by next year." I say getting on my knees and begging. While tears fell down my face. "I've been waiting for you my whole."
"Enough with the tears." He says. "Goodbye kid."
He says walking away. I stayed on knees crying. This couldn't be happening to me.
This hurts me so much. Something in my heart was causing so much pain. I couldn't stop.
I cried as I walked into the woods for what seemed like hours. It was so dark that only the light was the moon but I didn't care I wanted to go to my favorite private spot. It's usually where I cry my little heart out when things get hard.
"I can't believe this happened." I say to myself crying as I sat on the giant rock.
All my despair was coming out here. My sister was okay with my mate rejecting me. She would still be with him. And he's thinks she's perfect.
That's not fair! It's not fucking fair. I've haven't done anything mean to them for anyone to treat me the way they do.
Being born is my only crime.
I mean sure. I'm clumsy and trip here and there. My dad tells me I'm good for nothing every chance he gets. My mate rejects me for something I can't help. My brother treats me like a punching bag. Everyone in this pack and family seems to have it out for me. And I can't do anything but take it.
My life is utter shit.
Something creaked close to me. I sniffed as I looked around.
"Princess you need to stop crying it sounds like a dying dog." I hear a low voice coming from the shadows.
"Who is it?" My voice cracked.
A man without a shirt come out of the shadows. He's was dangerously handsome.
"I'm Alaric." He says. I saw scars on his body. Is he even suppose to be here? I looked at his claws there were the sharpest I've ever seen. What scared me was the blood that was dripping from them. "And you are in my territory."
"Are you going to kill me?" I asked.
"Why is a girl like you crying." He asked. His Deep strong voice was soothing.
"I got rejected." I had no idea why I even told him.
His face showed no emotions.
"Bury that sadness in the moondust." He says turning around and walking away.
Leaving me on my own.

"He sounds hot in a wild way." Says John.
Now that I'm older. He was so sexy.
"Your mate and sister can suck it." Says Josie.
I laughed.
"Yeah."
"Tell us more when you are done with the shoot." Says Lucy slap on the ass.
There sure was more.
