It's been a month since we got back to the states and I've finally decided to go see Kamiya. I drove the 30 minutes to her house thinking of what to say. When I pulled in I let out a sigh because it was cars in the drive way and obviously a cook out going on.
I parked and walked up to the house. The door was opened so I just walked in. I saw a bunch of unknown people. I know some of them are from Big Anthony's gang but others I don't. I walked to the back and spotted Kamiya with Cameron and Marcus talking.
I walked up to them and Marcus stopped talking and stared at me. Kamiya and Cameron looked my way.
"Kamiya can we talk?" I asked
"No." She said with no hesitation
"Miya we just talked about this." Cameron said
"Come on." She said to me walking in the house rolling her eyes. She went into the den and I followed.
"What?" She asked crossing her arms.
"Look I'm sorry for not being there. I really wanted to but you have to understand that my family comes first." I said
"We were family." She said
"You know what I mean. If I was in some shit like that you would do the same." I said
"Bitch you know good and well I wouldn't. You knew you were like my fucking sister. I wouldn't ever leave you hanging like that knowing you needed my support. I was so stressed with all this shit and my best friend just left me. No call or anything bitch you just left." She said
"I wasn't going to risk my husband going to jail because you and this mess." I said out of rage
"Then why'd you come here? You don't care." She said
"I do care if I didn't I wouldn't have came here. I love you like a sister and you know that. I admit I was being selfish and I shouldn't have been." I said
"I don't care anymore. I found out who was really by my side a while ago." She said
"You can't forget all the times I was there for you. I couldn't be there this one time you wanna just wanna cut me off?" I asked
"Name one time you were there when I needed you?" She asked
"When you locked your sister away to some camp and basically got her raped because you cared about Cameron and Mikah more than her. I was there to support you through all of the aftermath." I said
"Bitch I took my sister away because she was out of control. She wished death on my kids and I still would never want her to get raped. I've been regretting that ever since and for you to throw that up in my face means you ain't shit." She said
"You told me to tell you a time I was there for you and that was the time." I said
"You said I got my sister raped. If that's how you feel then you shouldn't even me around me nor my family." She said
"Ma?" We turned and saw Little Anthony standing at the door.
"Grandpa wanna talk to us." He said
"I'm coming." Kamiya said
He just nodded and left the room.
"I'll deal with you later but as for now. Leave." She said flipping her curly hair and walking out the room.
I basically ran out the house and got into my car before calling my husband and telling him everything.
"Babe you told her that she got her sister raped. You don't think that was too much?" He asked
"I didn't mean it like that." I said
"At this point I don't think your friendship can be helped right now." He said
"You aren't any help." I said pouting
"Well you're kinda making the situation worse." He said
I just hung up. That's not something I wanted to hear from my husband.
Kamiya
I walked to Mr. Price and saw him surrounded by my family. I sat on Cameron's lap and listened.
"Just when we thought everything was okay my so called fruit loop son popped up again." He said
"Who?" Anthony asked
"Some boy who claimed to be our brother." Mikah said
"He don't look nothing like any of us." Cameron said
"He's gay?" I asked
Cameron nodded his head.
"Aww y'all got a little rainbow in the family." I said laughing. None of them laughed but looked at me with a serious face on.
"That shit ain't funny." Mr. Price said
I couldn't stop laughing because I know how much they dislike gay men.
"Bye Kamiya." Mikah said
I stopped laughing and looked around at them and they still looked mad.
"Ma." I heard Marcus from the stairs
"What?" I asked
"Can I come down just for today?" He asked
"No. Next week you can." I said
He turned and went back up the stairs.
"You can let him down for the day." Cameron said
"No he gone see how it feel to be punished for trying to sell drugs." I said
"You don't think that, that ass beating was enough?" He asked
"Hes lucky he still got his tv." I said
I went back to focusing on Mr. Price.
"So I want you all to always watch your backs like always but just a little more." He said
"Aint nobody scared of uncle Ru Paul." Anthony said laughing
"Stop" I said slapping his arm a little and laughing
"This not funny." Mikah said while me and Ant die laughing.
It was a hard knock on the door which made me and him stop. Mr. Price walked over to the door and opened it with a yank. I rolled my eyes seeing Tiana and her mom at the door. What I noticed was that Tiana was holding a baby.
"We came to show you your son since you didn't wanna be there for his birth." Tiana said
"Oh lord here they go." Mikah said
Me and Cameron got up and walked to the door. I looked down at the baby and looked at Cam while he looked over at me.
The baby looked nothing like any of us. It could be a chance that he looked just like Tiana but honestly I don't know who that baby look like.
"Ma." Anthony said looking at me
I shrugged my shoulder because I didn't know what to say.
"Don't worry about it. We'll see all of yall in court next Monday for the child support case." Tiana mom said
They just turned and walked away. I closed the door and turned to the guys.
"That aint his baby. Our genes strong and that baby look nothing like us. He don't even look like the girl." Mr. Price said exactly what I was thinking.
"Until we get a DNA test they gone drag this." I said
"We need one as soon as possible because I just feel like they gone try to get at least $4,000 a month." Cameron said
"How if nobody got no real job?" Anthony said
"You know pops got that business he been running for a while." Cameron said
"Look at this." Marcus said running downstairs with his phone in his hand. I'm wondering how the fuck he even got it. I watch him and he look at me, see my face and run on the other side of the room to get to us. He hold his phone up and see the Instagram post.
"See even they don't know who that damn baby look like." I said
"Damn shame." Cameron said
"Ma see I showed y'all this I should be good. I learned my lesson. I won't sell drugs or even go near them." Marcus said
"Alright boy. You free." I said
"They done let a real nigga out." Anthony said laughing.
