"Wait so you want me to be your fake girlfriend, to make Evans jealous?" you asked James who nodded eagerly. You looked over at your brother Remus and your friend Sirius.
"NO!" you yelled at James frowned.
"And why not."
"James don't you get it, she doesn't like you leave the poor girl alone already."
"No, she loves me, but she doesn't want to admit it."James reasoned.
"Oh okay, but really I don't care. And I have my own love problems, so sorry can't help you there."I said, then Remus looked at me questioningly.
"What 'love' problems, YN.," asked Remus, his big brothers' instincts kicking in. You smiled, then glanced at your crush. (you can pick his name and house.)
"you'll see, Rem when were dating." He glared at me.
"You will not be dating young lady." He said in a matter of fact voice.
"Remus your older by 10 minutes, and what do you mean I can't date when you're letting your friend ask me to be his fake girlfriend," I questioned him.
"Yeah fake, no real feelings," he said. You groaned.
"Good thing, I don't care what you say." you stuck your tung out at him and ran to your friend, Daniel, and Venesa. They were in Hufflepuff, while your a Gryffindor, but your best friends. Of course, you have other friends in Gryffindor, like, Mauranders, Lilly, Molly, Marlene, and Alice.
At Dinner
You were sitting with Molly and Alice, while the marauders sat next to our little group.
"Please." you heard James whisper in your ear.
"No, I already told you."
"But, you can get (crush name) to like you back," he said, you looked at him wide eyes. That's when you noticed Molly and Alice was listening.
"How did you know?"
"I saw you look at him, yesterday, so will you," he asked. You thought about it.
"Fine..." you got up with Molly and Alice and left the Great Hall. I heard him cheer, so I chuckled as we left. They kept talking about how C/N (crush name) was gonna be jealous.
Later in the Common Room
You were talking with the girls when the boys walked in and James came up to you.
"YN, do you um maybe want to go with me to Hogsmeade, on Saturday." he asked you 'Nervously.'
"Yes, James I would love to go with you." He smiled and walked away.
"Finally, that bloody boy moved on." Lilly cheered.
"Wait, didn't you like (crush name)," asked Marlene. You glanced at Alice and Molly.
"Its about time I've moved on, and this is a perfect opertunite."
"Let's go to bed, Molly, YN," Alice said.
Dorm Room
You shared your room with Molly and Alice, so you talked about James plan. It actually made sense. They planned your outfits for the next day,(Molly had a date with Arthur and Alice with Frank) to make both boys jaws drop, C/N and James. Later, Sirius came in the room.
"What are you doing in here?" asked Molly.
"Hiding from Remus whose giving James a big brother talk that if he hurt YN, he will rip his throat out and James said he'll meet you tomorrow after breakfast for everyone to see."
"Oh okay, well you can wait in here, we're just planning an outfit, for tomorrow," said Alice smiling.
30 minutes later
You finally finished the outfit and it was amazing, you three stared down at it till we heard snoring. We all turned and saw Sirius sleeping on a chair, you all smirked at each other. You got out the makeup and nail polish an gave him a makeover before going to bed.
In the morning you woke up Sirius and watched as he went to the common room, only the girls and the other three Marauders, and a few 1st and 7th years. They all turned and laughed at Sirius. Lilly gave him a mirror and we burst out laughing causing them to all look at the three guilty looking 5th years.
"I'm going to kill you," he yelled.
"James save your girlfriend," yelled Peter. You both flushed and James tackled Sirius you went back into your room and got ready.
Alice, then you, Molly dress order.
You three all went to the great hall, everyone turned to look at the three beautiful Gryffindors in Red. You saw your C/N look at you, then you saw James face it was adorably cute, WAIT WHAT. No, I did not mean that it's not possible, I like someone else. We all sat down and ate our breakfast.
Then or dates took us away, and everyone stared, as we left with the three boys. You all got onto one carriage and rode together, you talked the whole way there. When you got there you went your separate ways.
First, you went to Honeydukes and bought a ton of sweets for later, which James actually paid for because he's too stubborn. Then, you went to Zonkos and bought a lot of prank stuff. After that, you went to a quidditch store, where James bought things for his broom, and you got things like merch for Gryffindor. Finally, you went to the Three Broomsticks, for some Butterbeer.
When you were walking to the carriages, James grabbed your hand and smiled at you, you blushed. When you got to the carriage the other four, came on and we talked about our dates.
Back At Hogwarts, Dorm Room
"Can I tell you guys something."
"Yeah.' Molly said.
"Of course," Alice responded.
"I think, I'm in love with James Potter," I spoke softly. I heard their gasps.
"You would be a great couple." Molly gushed as Alice nodded.
"But, he's in love with someone else."
"Then make him fall for you."
You thought about it, till your eyes grew heavy and fell asleep. The next Saturday was a party for some reason, so that should work. You both kept up your plan for that week.
The Next Saturday.
Dress Order, You, Alice, Molly.
When you went downstairs, it smelled horrible, but it was a party. You looked around for James and saw him with Lilly. Molly and Alice grabbed your hand and you both joined the party, then C/N came up to you.
"Hey, did you and James break up," he asked you.
"Yeah, I guess we did." you smiled at him.
"do you want to dance." you nodded and you started dancing. You stayed with him, but you kept glancing at James, who was glaring at C/N. Then you and C/N walked out into the corridor. He kissed you, and you kissed back, it didn't feel right, but you kissed back. You used to dream about kissing him and now it's happening and you didn't like it. Then you felt him being thrown off you. You looked up and saw James,
"What was that?" James asked you.
"What you have Lilly, so I got him." you looked down.
"YN..."
"Why do you care, go back to Lilly?" your voice full of jealousy.
"I like you okay, no I'm in love with you YN Lupin. I was telling Lilly, how I was so happy. Then she told me you were dancing with him and it broke me. Then you left with him and I came to find you snogging him." James teared up.
"I love you too. And it didn't feel right when he kissed me. I just got jealous when you were with Lilly." He kissed you and you kissed back. You both headed back to the party.
"Oh C/N, I got her first," James shouted as you laughed at him, you had totally forgotten about C/N.
Sometimes you have to go through all that.
Just to come out and realize it had a great outcome.
At first, you didn't like what you got, but then you're in love with it.
