A hole in the grey sky, revealing a tunnel darker than the Void; it was as if a god just deleted a circular hole of reality that is wide as the territory of the clockwork Fortress. The lack of air created a vacuum, sucking in the snowing, grey clouds.

Everything within the diameter of a thousand blocks, with the remains of the Clockwork Fortress, with Jess and her brother, at the very center, was being ripped upwards towards the sky.

The air felt heavy and weightless at the same time. Even the heavy snow stopped falling, drifting around with the large masses of uprooted ground.

The red, ominous glow leaked from the cracks that spread for a thousand blocks; originating from massive amounts of blood stolen from the Clockwork Fortress.

Jess looked up as her stunned brother let out a gasp in the dark hole in the crumbling sky. It was nothing more than a thick, red line. Yet it split down its length, the edges pinched together, before both halves moved away from each other, revealing a red circle; a iris of an eye.

They've seen it before, too many times even. It's the same eye the cultists at the Clockwork Fortress wear on their vein-covered cloaks.

Jess used [Observe] while Jesse used the runes in his right eye.

[Veritas] Level ???

Title: I See All

Species: ???

Elemental Affinities: [Unlimited] Heos (Chaos)

Most consider it to be a myth. The few and ignorant call it a god. Veritas is the collective will of every Chaos Sorcerer who died; the dark and primal desire to destroy everything.

This mighty being sleeps in a world outside of reality, feeding off of the contradiction of all dimensions, yet it cannot exist anywhere else other than Limbo. Every hundred years, it releases a fragment of that power to select a new Chaos Sorcerer to spread corrosive, chaotic energy to form an Anchor.

BWWWAAAMMM-!

It bellowed out, sending bone-chilling vibrations throughout the air. Blood and black monolithic structures rained from the cold sky as they seemed to be the only things unaffected by the lack of gravity.

"What did you do...?" Jesse screamed his voice drowning in the groaning of the god above while his sister's lich continues to hold him in place. The raining blood stained his body and everywhere else, casually floating and being pulled towards the eye in the sky. "Damn it, Jess, what did you do?!"

Jess gestured with her burned hand towards the eye, her body relaxed despite the lack of gravity. "Using the emotions of the dead and many, to strike down and kill a god."

"Kill a god?!" Jesse yelled in disbelief. "How are you going to kill something like that?!"

"Without you." Jess answered coldly. "I don't want you to take credit for what I've done; remember the Building Competition years ago? My cookie fountain?"

"Jess, I-!"

BLIP-!

Jess mentally commanded her lich to teleport her brother away. His friends are still unconscious, floating around, but why should she care?

Jess then glanced over, narrowing her eye in the distance to see Raven desperately battling her homunculus. Her son's body was crumbling as all of the nature energy he's been siphoning is starting to leak out of his breaking body, laughing like a maniac all the while. Jess just ignored them, for now at least; she sent PAMA to take care of Raven.

The black monoliths could be heard as they crashed into the glowing ground; one of them crashing into of her undead colossuses. As the flat, black, and rectangular, object crashed into the decaying monster, a red eye formed on dark surface.

Within a heartbeat, red static crawled all over the rectangular structure before spreading to the undead colossus. In the blink of an eye, her monster was nothing more than a silhouette before disappearing; faint purple particles were all that was left of the monster before being pulled up towards Veritas.

Jess couldn't help but smile. After so much planning, and killing, and dealing with the homunculus, and now she possibly could die! All of this blood, the chance of dying, the uncountable casualties, it all made Jess' spin tingle in excitement as she opened her mouth to lick the blood raining on her burned face.

"This is just so refreshing!" She laughed, finally having a moment of relaxation as tasted her efforts. Yet after the laugher died down, she felt numb... and a bit sad. "I did whatever I wanted... why does it feel like I did nothing?"

Jess willed her remaining undead colossuses to gently push her up towards the hole in the sky. She closed her eye, drifting in the weightless air. Jess just wished that Ivor were here. If she made any mistakes on this plan, he would have easily point it out.

But why should he be concerned with her problems? Why should the dead care about the living? That's the perk about not being alive anymore...

Meanwhile in another universe... in Sky City

Ivor glared through the bars as Reginald looked at their confiscated inventory. "Nothing sadder than an unimportant man on the world's tiniest power trip." Ivor spat at Reginald from within his cell in Sky City.

"Ivor," Lukas tried ease the tension. "Just calm down and-"

"Hey, I don't have to take this- I'm in charge here!" Reginald interrupted, walking back to stand in front of the bars. "You're criminals. Aiden told everyone-"

"Oh, and you're gullible too!" Ivor interrupted. "PA-THE-TIC! Pathetic I say!" Ivor yelled back, sounding each syllable out. "You're just as important as sand in a desert, Reginald-!"

BWWWAAAMMM-!

Ivor collapsed on the ground in pain, holding his face as blood flowed and puddled under him writhing body.

"Ivor, are you okay?" Jesse asked as he helped Ivor up to his feet before stepping back in shock when he saw the gaping hole where his left eye should be. "What happened to your eye?!"

As Reginald ran off the alert the other guard to provide medical treatment, Ivor had a thought as he looked at Jesse.

'Wait... he?' Ivor thought as he critically stared at Jesse despite his missing eye. 'I thought Jesse was a girl!'

"Jesse... why do you have both of your arms?" Ivor looked around in confusion. "And why are you a boy?"

BWWWAAAMMM-!

A monolith crashed through the roof of the jail cell.

----------

"I knew you would stop him." Lukas congratulated Jesse as Ivor stared around in confusion, blinking both of his eyes. "Nice work."

"Where did all this land com from?!" Ivor shouted, looking at the vast vegetation. The citizens of Sky City, after falling into the lake, explored with awe. "What happened to Sky City?"

"Now I'm just speculating here," Petra commented as if Ivor never said anything, while she and her friends all glanced at the Blaze Rods being taken into custody. "But I'm guessing those guys are having some regrets."

"Yeah, I feel a little bad." Jesse said as she gave the Blaze Rods a look of pity. "They just got in over their heads."

"Waaay over." The redhead nodded before she looked at their confused alchemist. "Ivor, are you okay?"

"Why is Jesse a girl? She was a boy a moment ago!" Ivor shouted, much to everyone's confusion, before pointing at Lukas. "And who this blonde guy?!"

"Ivor, that's Lukas," Jesse reminded in concern. "Don't you remember?"

"I don't remember how I got down here...!" Ivor realized as his face scrunched up in irritation at his ignorance. "Seriously! How did I get here?!"

"Ivor, we defeated the Blaze Rods!" Jesse explained their great accomplishment with a proud smile. "You even saved me from some ghasts! You're potion was the reason why I was able to get into the palace and stop Aiden!"

"But I don't recall...no, no, no!" Ivor stepped away from the concerned group as he shook his head. "This can't be real; this all has to be a dream or something!"

"Well it can't be a dream." Playfully said the blonde guy. "Didn't you say you usually have cake in your dreams?"

"Well, yeah, but- AAAAAAAHHH!" Ivor let out a startled yelp as he saw the slice of cake in his previously empty hands, before throwing the dessert on the ground. "What is going on?! Where did that come from-?!"

BWWWAAAMMM-!

"Oh, what now!" Ivor threw his hands in the air in frustration as he watched a portion of the sky crumble away to reveal eternal darkness.

From the black emptiness in the sky, as if the darkness submerging it is nothing more than a curtain, a giant closed eye was revealed. The surrounding land and people was ripped upwards towards the slowly opening eye, screaming and trying to resist as the eye slowly opened like a rested child.

Except for Ivor, who could only watch as the sky disintegrated while gravity became damaged beyond repair. Large chunks of the ground were ripped up towards the massive eye while the hole in the sky became wider as its edges crumbed.

Ivor remained unaffected on the ground, the wind blowing at high speeds as he is looking around in horror while everyone's eyes became white; their mouths started to fuse shut to silencing their panicked screams.

Thunder roared, but even the clouds were devoured as they turned into silhouettes. Leaving nothing but purple particles that was sucked towards the eye in the sky. Even the sun itself was starting to turn black.

The eye made a loud groan that caused a purple aura to rippled out in the air. Ivor watched as all the people, animals, and even the mountains in the distance, were lifted up into the sky before becaming nonexistent.

"No!" Ivor struggled to grasp the situation, looking around and behind for an answer. Turning around and around until he looked back at the crumbling sky to see warp and fall apart. "WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

His vision started to dim. His left eye started swell before bursting, releasing a constant stream of blood as Ivor screamed in pain. He tried to move, his pain crippling his movements as he couldn't stand as he had to kneel before the lake.

Ivor managed looked into the water; his reflection in the blue liquid looked disturbing as his left eye was gone, leaving a gaping, bleeding hole that leads to inside his head. His right eye started to turn white as Ivor's vision started to deteriorate. Before he went blind Ivor saw his body is turning pitch black before fading away into nothing.

The eye above groaned again. A purple aura rippled out as Ivor was lifted into the air as his eye turned pure white. And before his hair turned grey and old, and before his mouth melted before fusing shut, before his body turned black and dissolved into puss, he shouted one last thing.

"I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER MAKING THE CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKE-!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"AH!" Ivor shouted as he fell of the bed. He took a few calming breaths before wiping the terror-induced sweat off his face. "Another nightmare... so horrible!
He got up from the ground. "I just can't believe it... in that dream... I threw perfectly good cake on the ground!" Ivor ranted in anger, clearly not disturbed by the other horrors in his sleep; that's just normal stuff he dreams about. "Why would I throw cake on the dirt! Blegh, it's so wasteful!"
Ivor then took a good look around in his messy room on the mossy-cobblestone floor, greeted with the sight of scattered potion bottles and books.
Ivor walked to the mess, bending down to clean it all up, but then he started to remember how Soren would always lecture and yell at him for not keeping things organized in his room back at the Order's temple.
'Seriously,' Ivor mentally scoffed as he went back to ignoring the mess out of spite. 'Magnus is messier then everyone else, and yet I get lectured?!'
Ivor let out a sigh, even the slightest memory of them caused his heart to be grabbed in a vice of hate. 'How pathetic that even now they're still bothering me...'
The sounds of angry neighbors and pained screams of the residents of Beacontown can be heard from below, at the base of his lava-spewing, skulled tower.
Then he had a sense of déjà vu; didn't this already happen?
Ivor just shrugged and let out a frustrated huff. "Nothing but idiots who can't appreciate creativity," Ivor shook his head at the stupidity of how people are injuring themselves because of his house. "It may be spewing lava, but when it flows on the ground it's a shallow, visible puddle of bright lava in an open area; how are they not noticing that-OW!"
He fell onto his butt, cursing as he stubbed his toe on a book. "Who left that book there?!" Ivor shouted before he reflected on his lack of cleaning. "Hold on, I left that there because I was too lazy to clean up! Curse my own procrastination!"
Then Ivor realized something else. "...Hold on, I did that to spite my old friend– damn you, Soren!" Ivor shouted. After calming down, he looked at the book he stubbed his toe on. It was a simple red book, yet it was awfully familiar as it glowed a beautiful blood-red aura.
"What do we have here? A book, obviously; why did ask that out loud?" Ivor reached down to grab the book; he felt its beautiful warmth in his grasp "'When Everything Around You is a Lie; WAKE UP– DAMN IT, YOU ARE TRAPPED IN ANOTHER WORLD!' Who wrote such a strange title?" Ivor read the black title before looking at the author. "Written By Harbinger Famine? What kind of person has name is that?"
"The same kind that wants to help you..." Famine spoke as the blood-red aura she emitted forcibly wrapped around Ivor. "It's time to wake up."
============
"AH!" Ivor woke up, startled and aware as he looked around the biomechanical world. The cold floor pulsed like a heart, with insect like things crawling around the child-size skulls imbedded into the wall as if they're decorations. Talking to each other.
Ivor let out a frustrated huff. "You know, this is staring to get COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!"
A/N: The one thing I find difficult when writing about Ivor, is when he shouts or raises his voice. He does it with the right tone, whispering for dramatic effect, only shout in your ear. Hilarious!
Anyways, school is starting to wear me down, so updates will be at longer intervals. I wanted to post this chapter earlier, but I've been managing the OC requests for Dreams of Estorra and No More. One of them was absolutely ridiculous. The sender demanded me to do everything else for her, because she only sent in: the names, Classes, and levels (She had two characters that were level 10,000 and 1,000. Not joking.) and a terrible backstory. She demanded that I do everything else, but when I said no, and criticized on her behavior, she sent me hate comments.
Made me laugh honestly. Mostly because she would make contradictory excuses on why her OC's were like that: blaming it on other people, blaming it on auto-correct, swearing a LOT in my inbox, before she asked to be my friend. Obviously, I don't like people, so why would I say yes to that? And because I said "no" to a random person I just recently knew who existed, she said that she would delete the 'conversation' along with this face (-_-). (Keep in mind, I only sent two replies, while she sent in eleven). She still hasn't deleted it, and I hope she doesn't because it still puts a smile on my face when I read her frustration. I wanted to take a screen shot, but it was just too long, and my screen is just too short.
But anyways, Ivor and Famine? Anyone confused about the world he's in? Have questions? Type it in the comments! Discuss among yourselves! Truth be told, some people have predicted on what's going to happen later in the story. Well, they're close, not exact, but close! Keep it up! And have a cookie! (::)
