Tessa's P.O.V:
I rest my head against the back of my seat as I watch the papparazi surround my car. I don't bother covering my face or driving away. No, instead I just sit there and let them take pictures of me like i'm some kind of animal caged in a zoo.
Milo and Jameson wait in the back seat patiently as I watch the papparazi. This morning I woke up to my face being shown on every news page and channel out there. We never announced our divorce to the world and now, all of a sudden Marshall's wedding pictures have been released.
My phone hasn't stopped ringing since the morning. I must have more than a hundred missed calls from my brothers and other family. I told Ryder and Iris' to take the day off because I didn't want them to get harrassed by the papparazi. Leroy has also been trying to get a hold of me but I just shut him out.
Marshall tried to get in touch and so did Nicks wife Olivia. Marshall shows up everyday outside our property but Ryder orders for the guards to keep the gates locked and to not let him on the property or anywhere near him or his twin sister.
The gaurds at the gate told me that Kim tried to see me yesterday but apart from my kids, I didn't let anyone talk to me until today. I decided to go out five days after Marshall's wedding. I can't stay locked up inside forever. Milo and Jameson will know somethings up so I decided to take them shopping for toys.
My brothers texted me saying that I shouldn't be the one to hide at home and that I shouldn't be embarrassed and I agree with them and got out of the house. I was so stupid for listening to them. I have never felt this scared and embarrassed before.
"Why are there so many?" I hear Milo ask. "And why aren't you telling them to stop? Tell them to stop!" He adds. I let out a sigh and unclip my seat belt.
"Stay close to me." I look back at him and watch him nod. I place my hand on the handle and get a glimpse of my wedding ring. I have no idea why I still have the damn thing on that's worth millions. I pull the ring off my finger and throw it into my bag.
It feels like there is a part of me missing when I take the ring off. I feel empty. There's no denying the fact that i'm still in love with Marshall. There's no denying the fact that I don't want him to be with anybody else but me.
I sit up and get ready to get out of my car. I pick up my water bottle and place it in my hand bag before I pick my bag up. I look around at the crowd and stop at the heavily pregnant lady who's recording me on her pink camera. I drop my bag onto my lap and hold it against me as I just sit there and stare at her.
I'm not good with kids, we all know that. Ryder and Iris are both 17 now so they can take care of themseleves. Milo is a quiet kid who's always spending time with Ryder and Iris or Marshall. I just about can handle Jameson, sometimes Iris or Ryder have to come and help me because I find it hard to get him to sleep or to get him to quiet down.
After endless nights of me just laying in bed thinking about the future with the baby inside me, I decided to keep the baby. I lost one already. There's no way in hell i'm losing another baby. I'm not getting an abortion and i'm not going to give it away to some strangers.
We all know that Marshall and I can't have a future together. We all know that rules of the contact very well now. It's quiet clear that we're not allowed to have our own children since we're not even allowed to have any kind of sexual relationship. I'm scared they're going to harm the baby so I decided to keep my pregnancy a secret.
I'm not going to tell Marshall about the baby and i'm not going to tell my manager. Once my baby bump starts to show, the contract will he over and hopefully Leroy won't be my manager anymore so I won't have to explain anything to him. If the world starts to ask about my baby's father, i'll simply say that I don't know who the father is. I don't care if I look like some sort of whore.
All of this is for the best. It's best for my children and for the baby inside me. It's best for all my family and friends, they won't be in any sort of danger if the creators of the contract try to teach me a lesson. It's best for me and as for Marshall, he's with Kim now.
"Mom?" Milo calls me. I look away from the pregnant lady who's now waving at me frantically and down at my lap.
I cover my face with my shades before I push open the door and hop out of my SUV. The papparazi jump at the sight of me, making a few people grab onto them before they get pulled back. I asked the security not to follow me so I was all alone. I pull the door open to my car and pick Jameson up from his seat before I close the door.
"Tessa? When did you and Marshall get divorced?" A man jumps towards me as I press Jamesons head against my chest and cover his face.
"Tessa? What are your thoughts on Eminem getting married to his ex wife?" A woman says as she snaps a picture of me, making me push past her. I walk towards the other side of my car and help Milo out of his car before I grab a hold of his hand and push past the crowd and walk towards the mall.

"Miss Black." I look up at the doorway and watch my body guard Devon standing in the doorway with his finger pressed to his ear piece. I look away and carry on changing Jamesons nappy.
"Hey Dev." I say and notice him walk into the room from the corner of my eye.
"I was told that you wanted to speak to me, Miss Black." He says, making me nod before I stand up. I walk away to dump the dirty nappy in the bin and to wash my hands before I walk back into my bedroom.
"I caught one of your guards taking pictures of my family." I state. "You promised me that you would hire the best security team to protect me and my kids." I add.
"I'm sorry to hear that this happened, Miss Black. Which guard was this?" He asks.
"The one with the earring and tattoo on his arm." I state.
"The Mexican?" He asks, making me shake my head.
"No. This one's American. He has blond-" I start and get cut off.
"Sam." He sighs.
"I want him fired." I state. "I mean, I can't even spend time with my children in my house without anyone taking pictures and videos?" I shake my head.
"I understand, Miss Black. I apologize. He will be fired immediately." He nods as I get Jameson dressed again.
"Good. Thank you." I stand up with Jameson in my arms. I slip my feet into my sliders and turn to face Devon who's still standing there. "Uhrm....That's all, Devon." I say.
"There's a Nathan Kane at the gates." Devon informs me. "He walked here on his own and said that he's come to see you." He adds. "Should we let him in?" He asks. I stay quiet as I look away from him and down at the floor. Ryder, Iris and Milo are gone out with my brother Jacob who's come to visit us and is staying here for the weekend. Nathan probably knows they're gone so he's only come here to talk about the contract and his brother. He's probably going to convince me to see him or tell the kids to see him.
"No." I say and look back at him. "Tell him that I don't feel too good so I don't want guest here." I add. I walk past Devon and make my way downstairs.
"Miss Black. The boys been standing out there for the past hour." He says as he follows me down the stairs. I let out a small sigh as I walk towards the living room and place Jameson down on the carpet. "He won't leave." Devon adds. I turn on cartoons for Jameson and take a seat next to him on the floor.
"Let him in." I say quietly and listen to Devon repeat my orders into his ear piece before he walks away.

"Yeah, he gets to see Milo and Jameson but he wants to see Ryder and Iris too!" Nathan shouts, making me tighten my grip around the glass in my hand.
"They don't want to see him." I keep my voice low and try to push my anger away.
"Bullshit, Tessa. That's their fucking dad!" Nathan shouts.
"Do you really think i'm stopping the twins from seeing Marshall?" I say and turn to face him.
"That's what he thinks." He shrugs.
"Right." I chuckle in disbelief. "He's blaming all his mistakes on me. He thinks i'm stopping the twins from seeing him when in reality they dont want to see him because he got married again." I add. I watch Nathan as he shakes his head. "He got married, Nathan. He got married to Kim again." I state.
"You left." Nathan shrugs.
"I had no other choice." I say quietly.
"No other choice?" He repeats in disbelief.
"Oh don't act so suprised!" I huff. "You know we have a contract to stick to." I add.
"You came into his life and changed everything, Tessa. Do you realise how hard this is all for him? He was fucked up before you came along. He was angry at the world as well me and the rest of my family until you came along." Nathan says. "You came and changed everything. You lit up his damned world. You made him happy and now-" He carries on, making me cut in.
"And now the contract ends which means I have to leave." I say, making him curse out loud as he throws his hands up.
"Man why the fuck are you so scared about the damn contract? Why are you so scared of a fucking piece paper!" He yells. I stay quiet as I watch him pace around the living room.
Everything that happened during our contract and about the contract, Nathan knew. We told him every last detail. What we didn't tell him is that we got attacked at the club because of the contract. What we didn't tell him was that Jacob lost his memory when he was involved in the same car crash that Christopher was killed in. What we didn't tell him was that the contract killed Christopher and Karla and what we didn't tell him is that the contract can kill anyone at this very moment.
He has no idea how dangerous this all is.
"It's all over, Nathan. He got married again and I moved on." I look away from my ex brother in law and down at the furry carpet.
"Is it really over?" He asks as he walks towards me. I swallow hard as he crutches down infront of me. "Have you actually moved on from my brother?" He asks.
"Yes." I force the word out like it's acid in my mouth.
"No." He shakes his head. "You might have everyone else fooled but not me Tessa." He says.
"I want you to leave, Nathan." I say as I look away from him.
"I have lived with you for the past three years. Most of your time was spent with me when Marshall wasn't there. I know you better then anyone else. You're lying. You're fucking lying, Tessa." He whispers the last sentence as he shakes his head.
"Don't make me call security, Nate." I half whisper.
"My brother hasn't moved on from you." He stands up. "I wanted you to know that." He adds.
"He married his ex wife." I say as I blink away tears quickly.
"He was fucked up and on drugs when he got on one knee. He was even more fucked up when he tied the knot with Kimberly." He adds. "He won't say it but he regrets marrying her. I can tell." He sighs.
"Jacob will be home with the kids soon." I fold my arms across my chest as I stand up on my shaky legs.
"Okay." He whispers and swallows hard. "Please let Marshall come see the twins." He adds.
"I am." I shrug. "But they don't want to see Marshall." I add.
"Let him come here then." Nathan says. "Let Marshall comes here. Don't tell the twins incase they decide to walk out or not show up. Marshall needs to explain....Everything." He adds.
"I can't do that-" I start and get cut off.
"He a broken man, Tess. The only thing that's keeping his sane are his kids." Nathan says. "Before sunset." He says quickly. "Marshall will be here before sunset to talk to the kids....And...You." He adds slowly. I squeeze my eyes shut and nod slowly.
"Okay." I nod. "If he doesn't show up before sunset then I won't let him through the gates." I add.
"Marshall will show up." Nathan says as he quickly picks up his jacket. "He'll always show up for his children." He adds.
