ethan's pov
"where are we going ethan?" she asks.
"we're going somewhere that might bring back memories."
"we're here!" i say, unbuckling my seatbelt.
i exited to the car and went to the trunk to get her wheelchair.
we went to the second floor and told her to close her eyes for the surprise.
"1..2..3!"
"ethan!" she holds my arm.
"do you remember the first time we met?"
"yes of course! its been so long that i've been to Musica, when we bumped into each other." she laughs.
i pushed her wheelchair into the store, looking at her scanning the instruments.
she's so beautiful.
"do you want to buy anything?" i ask her.
"nothing really,"
i move her wheelchair out of the store and strolled the mall.
"oh hey ethan!"
i look up and it was Meredith.
"meredith?"
"yes, it's me." she laughs. she discontinues our eye contact and looks over to desi.
"who is this? your grandma?" she insults desi.
"leave her the fuck alone" i clenched my jaw.
"let's just go" desi whispers.
"what a downgrade! bye." she takes a sip of her drink and walks away.
i glared my eyes at her and desi and i went away.
"who is she?" desi asks.
"she's my ex, i don't care about her anymore."
"uh- well, okay then." she plays with her hands.
"wanna go home?"
"i'd love to"

desi's pov
we were on the couch when i heard a call from ethan's phone.
"hello?"
"really? thank you thank you!"
ethan throws his phone and hugs me tightly.
"what is it?" i ask.
"i'm an official artist!"
"im so proud of you baby!" i kiss his cheek.
"and i'm having a concert on tomorrow, Friday!"
"you and gray can go vip!" he laughs.
"how about your sister? she'd love to hear you sing."
his smile suddenly dropped when i said that.
"oh- im sorry, i said that-"
"did i tell you about my sister?" he cuts me off.
"well- uh- no," i stuttered.
"she comitted suicide, 4 years ago. she overdosed on pills,no way of brining her back."
"i'm truly sorry i said that, i di- didn't know. im so sorry for your loss."
"i believe she's up there, proud of you and grayson's achievements."
he smiles and kisses my cheek.
"i believe, too"
