"Freak!" Pansy Parkinson spits harshly in your face, grabbing her books and throwing them to the floor. "You don't belong here. Not in Slytherin or Hogwarts!"
Rolling your eyes with a sigh, you kneel down calmly and retrieve your school books.
"Well, I've been here for five years already and I'm not going anywhere, Parkinson. Deal with it!" you say cooly.
"How dare you talk to me, you filthy animal!" Pansy cries loudly, her voice echoing through the halls. "You're nothing but dirty, y/n y/l/n, stinking up the good name of Salazar Slytherin! I don't know what made the sorting hat put you in Slytherin. You should be in Gryffindor like all those other dogs!"
"If anyone's a dog you are," you say back to her, scowling. In an instant, pansy lets out a high pitched shriek and she starts to cry.
"Drackie-pooo!!!! Y/n is being mean to me again! She called me a 'dog!'" she cries loudly, rushing toward the band of Slytherin boys and throwing herself into Draco Malfoy's arms. Draco, caught extremely off guard, lets her wrap her arms around his chest, immediately regretting letting Pansy do that. Pansy pulls out her wand and shrieks a curse and you casually step out of the way and let the spell go by. It leaves a burn mark on the wall where it hits
"What's going on here?!" Ron Weasley shouts coming to your side and taking her waist firmly. "Is it Malfoy again?!"
"No. Pansy this time but it's not a big deal. I got her under control," you say to your boyfriend, kissing him on the lips.
"Man, I wanted to come and stop the fight," Ron complains, letting go of your waist.
"... or start one!" you laugh at him as Harry and Hermione come up to you both. As you look away, Ron smiles warmly at Hermione, who blushes in return.
"What did Pansy do this time?" Harry asks.
"Nothing other than the usual," you reply with a shrug stepping towards Harry. "Just did her usual rant about how I'm supposed to be a Gryffindor and how awful my existence is. I defended myself and then she ran back to Malfoy. I'm sick and tired of it. It always goes the same and it's a waste of time! What do you think I should do, Ron? ... Ron?"
"Huh? What?" Ron says suddenly and he and Hermione, who had become abnormally close in proximity, jump apart. "Oh! With your smarts, y/n, it'll all work out!"
"Sure, Ronald...," you sigh. "Oh well. Let's go to lunch. I'm starving."
"Can I catch you later?" Hermione asks. I got to go to the-"
"Library?" Harry asks and Hermione nods.
"I also gotta do something. I gotta do maintenance on my Quidditch gear," Ron says with a sigh. "We'll see you in class."
You and Harry nod to them and head off towards the Great Hall. Across the hall, Draco Malfoy eyes the back of Ron's head unhappily as he and Hermione walk away together in a different direction.
"What's wrong, Drakie-Poo? You seem distraught" Pansy asks sweetly, pulling on his arm. Draco grumbles, ripping his arm away from hers.
"Nothing, Pansy," Draco sighs to her. "Come on, boys."
Signalling to his group, they dest off slowly in the same direction as you and Harry.
"Are you sure, Drakie-Poo? I can help you, ya know," Pansy smiles, trying to be seductive by massaging his arm with her fingers.
"No. Go away, Pansy. Go ahead boys, I'll see you at lunch. I gotta check something," Draco sighs as his friends walk away, following the path of you and Harry. Once the other Slytherins have gone, he turns away to try to find Ron and see what he's up to.

After sitting down at the dinner table, you watched Ron wolfed down his food like normal and ten minutes in, you saw Hermione confess she wasn't feeling well and left to retire to her dorm room. Two minutes later, Ron said he had to rush off again because he forgot to do the essay. You sigh and pick at your food over at the Slytherin table with your fork, pushing it around the plate.
"Y/n?" someone says from across the table. You look up slowly and exhale slowly.
"Malfoy? What are you doing, talking to me?" you ask. "Won't your girlfriend kill you?"
"Who? Pansy? She's not my girlfriend, y/n. Sorry to disappoint you," Draco laughs, sitting down.
"Oh. I just thought the rumours were true. She's always with you," you reply with a smile.
"Can I ask you for a favour, y/n? I know that we're not friends, but it'd mean a lot," Draco says, stirring nervously in his seat a bit.
"Come on, Draco. We're friends. You may piss me and my other friends off a bit, but we're good," you say.
"Well... In that case, can you just hear me out for a second? I know you might not trust me, but I think this is important and I just want to look out for you," Draco says, becoming more serious looking you in the eye.
"What is it, Draco?"
"Well, I know you've been dating Weasley for a long time. Since fourth year? Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I saw him in the History of Magic room when Professor Binns was out. He was making out with Hermione. I-I know it's hard to hear, but I just thought it'd be good to tell you because he's a cheat and a liar. You don't deserve to be cheated on. It was yesterday and I'm pretty sure he's in the broom closet near Transfiguration classroom with her now," Draco sighs, breaking the news to you.
"What? No. Ron would never do that. We love each other and Hermione's just a friend," you say angrily.
"But y/n. That's what I saw! Please trust me?" Draco asks pleadingly. You sigh for a moment and run your hands through your hair in frustration.
"I don't know what to think," you say, getting up with a sigh. "I'm going to go to that broom cupboard and see for myself. See you later, Draco."
You leave the great hall and head up the stairs, turning onto the corridor the broom closet is located on. You approach the heavy wooden door and put your ear to it. There's sight movement and giggling coming from it. You back up and with hesitation, grab the doorknob. You turn in slowly and carefully, feeling the door unlock and you swing the door open. Draco was telling the truth. There stands Ron, shirtless, holding Hermione who's preparing to take off her bra. You shreik as Ron's facial expression drops into a look of horror.
"Y/N!" he shouts, but you're already running down the hall, heading for the Slytherin dorms. As you run down the stairs, you nearly knock over Draco who's heading to the common room.
"What happened?!" Draco calls, rushing after you. Tears flowing in your eyes, your rush to your empty dorm room and slam the door shut behind you. You sit on your bed angrily, your eyes puffy and your tears falling like a waterfall. A knock comes to the door.
"Go away!" you whimper out.
"Y/n... It's me. Draco," Draco says through the door. "Can I come in?"
You don't respond and Draco opens the door slowly.
"Y/n... I'm sorry," Draco says, sitting beside you. "I know this is my fault, but I didn't want to you find out later and be even more hurt. I don't want anyone to hurt you because you're amazing. Weasley was taking advantage of you and I didn't want to see that. Please understand why I told you. I don't believe what Pansy says. You aren't a bitch or a whore. You do belong here, y/n. He doesn't deserve a girl like you."
Crying harder, you put yor head in your hands.
"I trusted him!" you shout. "I gave him my all! I thought he cared..."
"Please don't cry y/n!" Draco says, taking your hands. "Please stop!"
Draco pulls you closer and your eyes shoot up to his. Draco makes eye contact with you and his silvery eyes seem to sparkle and flicker. He looks down at your lips and back up to your eyes as he leans forward so that your noses are almost touching. he tilts his head ever so slightly and as your heartbeat accelerates and your breath hitches quickly, he presses his lips firmly and fully onto yours. Bringing his hands up to your face, he hips your cheeks lovingly and warmly. His lips capture ours in a steady rhythm and you gasp as he deepens his embrace even more, causing you to fall into his arms. His lips are soft and cold but comforting and his hands wander to your waist running up and down your back.
"Don't cry, y/n," he whispers as your lips break apart reluctantly. Desperate for you again, he reconnects with you and you run your fingers enthusiastically through his hair. "You're wonderful, y/n, no matter what Pansy or anyone else says and people like Ron Weasley are too blind to see it."
You bring your hands down to his tie and tug on his tie, loosening it ever so slightly and bringing his muscular chest toward you. As you open your mouth breathlessly, he slides his tongue into your mouth and you don't resist him, and melt willingly into his arms as the kiss becomes heated and exhilarating. You stop the kiss, breathing hard and resting your forehead against his.
"I love you, y/n. I always have. I was jealous of Weasley all these years and I didn't want to interfere because you seemed so happy, but once I saw him cheating on you that day, I realised that he wasn't any good for you. Please don't hate more for that. I want you to be with a person who cares for you and will stay by your side no matter what," Draco sighs, cradling you in his arms.
"I don't hate you, Draco. I freaking just made out with you!" you laugh playfully, kissing Draco again. The door bursts open suddenly and Pansy Parkinson is standing in the doorway.
"DRAKIE-POOOOOO! WHAT IS THIS?!" she screams.
"I'm kissing y/n. What does it look like?" he sighs.
"But she's y/n! She is supposed to be in Gryffindor! She's a sack of shit!"
"Nope. I don't think so," Draco quippes, kissing your cheek, causing you to giggle.
"Well. I guess we know why I'm supposed to be in Slytherin now, Parkinson, huh!" you laugh. Enraged, Pansy storms out of the dorm and back into the common room.
"Stay with me for a little bit, Draco?" you aks, smiling up at him.
"Anything for my girl," Draco replies, lying you down on the bed gently and snuggling into you.
