"So...tonight?" you take a sip of the coffee you made. It was your break.
"Yea" he smiles. "We'll go watch the stars tonight." you stare into his eyes for a second.
"...promise?" D.O laughs.
"Yea" he locks his pinky with yours. your thumbs touch to seal it. "I promise _______"
"Good." you smile.
"Okay," D.O pecks your cheek. It's been a year and you still aren't used to his surprise kisses. "pick you up at 7." he taps your nose before walking away.
"Okay" You watch D.O leave the coffee shop. After you finish your coffee, you get up and throw the cup away. "Okay...back to work." you open the 'employees only' door in the back of the coffee shop and put your apron on once again.
Two hours pass and you were done working for the day. You sigh after sending the last customer off. "Good job today, _____" your boss praises you and you smile.
"Thanks, boss!" you take your keys and head out. "Bye! see you tomorrow!" you were so excited to meet with D.O. It's 6. that leaves you 1 hour to get ready and eat a little.
An hour almost passes and you've eaten and taken a shower. By the time D.O rings the doorbell, you were ready.
"Wow..." D.O was checking you out. "You look stunning." he looks at you from head to toe. your hair was in loose curls. you has beautiful earrings on and you wore leggings and a cute top that for you perfectly. D.O whistles. "I can't believe you're my girlfriend." he smiles as you blush hard.
"Ani. no I look like how I always do." you try to change the topic. "Did you bring a blanket?"
"Oh yea, I did. it's in the car."
"and food?"
"yea I did, sweetie" he pinches your left cheek. "now get in the car or we won't get a good spot."
"okay" you lock the door and walk to the car. D.O jogs in front of you and opens the car door. You thank him and get in. He jogs to the other side and starts the car. Ten minutes later, you guys were at the stargazing spot. D.O takes a basket and a blanket in one hand and your hand in the other.
"Let's go." you nod and walk with him. D.O finds a perfect place under a tree. It was like in the movies: the sky was clear and to your surprise, there was nobody here. he takes a picnic mat and place it under the tree. the two of you sit in the middle sharing a blanket. you sigh.
"This is really nice, D.O" you smile and lean your head on his shoulder. "thank you. I couldn't have asked for any better." you close your eyes and breathe in the fresh air.
"Oh really?" he takes the basket and opens it for you. your eyes widen.
"You made all this for me??" he nods and smiles.
"You like it?" he laughs. "You always say my cooking is great so here" he gives you the basket. "Hope you like it"
"I love it" you genuinely smile. D.O tries to break the silence after.
"So... do I get a present back?" he smirks. you remembered something and try to get up, but you get up too fast and you become dizzy. Luckily, D.O softens your fall. "omo you okay?" D.O strokes your head. You open your eyes and look up at his face. Looks like you fell into your boyfriend's chest. The second you realized that, you try to get up but D.O had a right grip on you. You blush hard.
"Y-yea I'm fine." you look away. "I can get up now."
"...______?" you were too embarrassed to respond, so you just turn your head to look at D.O. "Can I request my present?"
"What?"
"My present."
"Oh. okay sure"
"Can you kiss me?" Even now, D.O was embarrassed as well. "I always have to take the initiative and I want you to do I once..." he trails off "never mind, _____. sorry for asking something like that." he gets up and you do too. Not knowing what to do, D.O scratches his head. "Ahahaha this is awkward...wanna call it a day?" he turns to you. "We can stargaze another time." he turns and fumbles with the basket.
"D.O?"
"hmm?" he turns around to face you. You take the chance and peck him on the cheek. The second you're done, your cheeks turn pink and you smile.
"Sorry for being shy, D.O" you play with your fingers. "It's just that, I don't know what to do" you confess. "You're my first boyfriend and I don't want to lose you." D.O's eyes soften. He takes the blanket and warps around him and you again.
"It's okay ______." He knows you're trying your best. That was all that mattered. "As long as I get to see this adorable side of you more often."
