Tessa's P.O.V:
I move the duvet away from my face and sit up. I roll out of the bed from Marshall side which is empty and walks towards my phone that's on charger. I unplug it as I my eyes scan the 12 missed calls from Leroy and one from an unknown numbers.
God...What the hell does Leroy want now?
I switch off my phone incase he tries to call me again and put it away. I just want to be happy and stress free for today. I want to enjoy this first and last trip as a family so that means I have to push away all these unwanted thoughts which isn't easy because all my mind is on us being caught last night by some camera that's hidden.
"Relax Tessa. Relax." I say to myself. My gaze drops on the folded piece of paper on my bedside. I step onto the bed and walk towards the draw before I pick up the paper and fold it.
The kids wanted to explore. We'll be back soon, Marshall x
I fold the piece of folder and let out a sigh as I throw it back on the table. I step off the bed and walk towards the bathroom. I push the door open and do my morning routine before I get dressed in a pair of black denim shorts and a sleevesless white top. I slip my feet into my flats as I tie my hair up in a tight bun.
I decided to forget about the divorce papers and the contract for these two weeks I have with my family. I want to enjoy this trip and be stress free so for now, the divorce papers are on hold. I'll get Marshall to sign the papers when we're home.
I tuck my mobile in my back pocket and walk out of of our bedroom and into the kitchen. I stop in my tracks when my eyes land on the box of red roses. I let out a sigh and shake my head as I walk towards the kitchen counter.
I pick up the white card and sit down on the high stool as my eyes scan it.
I tare open the envelope and place it on the counter before I flip the small card around and recognize Marshall's right away.
Happy Valentines day baby, love Marshall x
I turn towards the front door when I hear it open. My eyes lock onto a green pair of eyes before I scan the old woman's maid outfit. I open my mouth to speak but she quickly talks over me.
"Mr Mathers asked me to place this in the bedroom." The woman explains.
"Right..." I say as I stand up. I walk towards her and look at the tray.
"You are his wife, yes? Mrs Tessa Black Mathers?" She asks, making me nod. "Well it was supposed to be a suprise....You know breakfast in bed for his beautiful wife....Well that's what he said to the other two men anyway." She tells me as she pushes the trolly in. I stay quiet as I follow her towards the couch. "You know many famous faces have stayed in this suit." She tells me
"Oh yeah?" I mumble and take a seat down on the couch. I watch her as she piles the glass table with trays of food.
"Yes." She nods.
"How much food has he ordered?" I laugh lightly as she struggles to fit the last plate on the table.
"Enough to feed the whole of Greece." She says, making me smile at her. "Miss...If you don't mine me asking..." She trails off slowly and clears her throat. "My grandaughter is a hug fan of you. Would you mind signing this book for her?" She asks.
"No, of course not." I sit up and reach our for the book. I open to the first page and that's already signed. I flick through all of the pages till I get to the middle. "Hu...Elton John." I say as I look down at his autograph and sign my name on the blank page.
"Thank you." The woman says as I close the marker and hand it back to her along with the book. "Enjoy your breakfast and I hope you enjoy your stay here too." She says.
"Thank you." I smile and watch her walk out of our suit.
I take the metal lids off the plates before I pick up a plate and place a piece of toast and scrambled eggs on my plate. He ordered so much and I don't know what half of the food is. I take my phone out of my pocket when it rings and let out a sigh at the sight of Leroy's name.
"Yes?" I answer the call.
"What are you doing?" My manger asks.
"What is it to you?" I mumble.
"Has he signed the papers?" He tuts.
"Leroy, i'm on a ho-" I start and get cut off.
"I have enough pressure on me as it is, Tessa! Has he signed the divorce papers or not?" He snaps.
"Yes he has signed them!" I lie. "Now get the hell off my back!" I shout and flip the phone closed.
I throw my head back as I cover my face with my hands. How the hell am I supposed to get him to sign the papers and why the fuck did I just feed Leroy that lie! I throw my phone on the couch just when I hear the front door to the suit open.
"Well if you didn't run away-" I hear Marshall say before he gets cut off.
"I didn't run off!" Hailie says quickly.
"Yeah you did." Alaina says. I watch Alaina and Hailie walks in as they hold hand. Marshall holds hand with Milo as he pushes the baby cart with the the other, followed by Ryder and Iris who are soaking wet.
"What happened to you two?" I ask.
"Ryder thought it would be funny if he pushed me into the pool." Iris huffs.
"And dad thinks he's a comedian by pushing me in." Ryder mumbles.
"Karma, Ry. Karma." Marshall says. Ryder picks up a cupcake from the tray and walks off.
"Can I have one?" Alaina points at the cookies.
"Course you can, my love. There's plenty of food." I say as I wave Hailie and Milo over too. Marshall places Jameson on the floor by his toys before he walks off.
"I need to get changed." Iris says as she grabs a cupcake before she walks off. I place my plate down on the glass table before I stand up and walk towards Jameson.
"Where are we going tonight?" Ryder walks back into the living room.
"I don't know, we'll see." I shrug as I pick Jameson up and kiss his cheek. I stay with the kids for half an hour before I decide to get up and look for Marshall. "Could you just watch over Jameson?" I say as I walk towards him. "I'll be one sec." I mumble as I hand him Jameson. Ryder kisses Jameson on his cheek as he walks past me and makes his way towards the kids.
I walk out of the living room and up the stairs before I make my way towards the main bedroom where me and Marshall are staying. I push the door open and walk into the empty room.
"Marshall?" I call him. I walk towards the bathroom and push the door open. Marshall looks up at me as he secures the towel around his waist.
"Hey." He says. My eyes wonder down to his naked chest as I think back to last night. "I heard you calling." He states. "I answered but you didn't speak." He shrugs. "What's up?" He asks, making me look up at him.
"Nothing." I say and watch him raise his brow up.
"Why were you looking for me?" He asks. Marshall walks towards the mirror and drys his hair with the towel.
Wait...Why was I even looking for him?
"I...Wanted to thank you for the breakfast." I shrug as I lean off the door.
"The one you barley touched?" He chuckles lightly, making me roll my eyes.
"And thank you for the roses too." I say as I walk around the huge ensuit. Marshall tosses the towel on the counter top and makes his way towards me. I let him to place his hand on my waist before he pulls me against him. "They were beautiful." I say as I look up at him.
"Happy Valentines day, baby." He says softly.
"Happy Valentines day." I say quietly. "I thought we weren't going to get gifts for eachother like last Valentines?" I say.
"We're not." He shrugs.
"Well....You got me roses. That counts as a gift." I state, making him smile.
"Reminds me. I got you something else." He says. I open my mouth to speak but Marshall places his lips on mine quickly, making kiss him back.
"You just said we're not getting gifts." I say as I move back. He moves his hand away from my waist and walks towards the door. I swallow hard when I hear him lock the bathroom door.
"It's a tiny gift." He shrugs.
"No." I shake my head.
"No?" He repeats as he walks back towards me and pulls me against his body.
"No." I shrug. "I didn't get you anything." I point out. "No Marshall. Just return th-" I start but stop talking when he places his lips against mine. I let out a sigh as he bites on my bottom lip and slowly pushes me towards the shower. He opens the glass door before I step into it as we kiss.
Marshall unbuttons my jeans before I step out of them and kick them out of the shower. He takes off my shirt and tosses it behind him before he pushes me against the tiled wall.
Push him away...Push him away Tessa.
"If you think that i'm going to forget about this whole gift thing because we're doing this then think again." I say as he trails kisses down my jaw line and on my neck. "I didn't get you anything." I say. A small gasp escapes when his hand goes between my thighs. I tug at his towel, making it drop down to the ground.
"I don't need a gift. I've got you." He whispers in my ear before he picks me up and wraps my legs around his. Marshall turns on the hot water before he pushes me back against the water and places his lips against mine.

I place my wine glass down and look away from the view of the beach and back at Marshall. My husband stays seated across me with his back against the chair and his eyes locked onto me as he smiles lightly. I let out a sigh as I lean back and fold my arms across my chest.
"Can I help you?" I ask as I raise my brow.
"Just enjoying the view." He shrugs, making me laugh a little as I sit up.
"You can be so cheesy sometimes." I state and watch him chuckle.
"That necklace looks beautiful." He says. I stay quiet as I watch him sit up in his seat just when the waiter returns with the bill.
"The necklace you're going to return you mean?" I tilt my head to the side.
"I'm not returning anything." He says as he places money down in the leather book before he stands up. I push my chair back and stand up before I pick up my bag.
"Yes you are." I say when he stands next to me.
"No i'm not." He mumbles as we walk towards the exit.
"I'm not keeping it Marshall." I shake my head.
"We'll see about that baby." He chuckles. We walk towards the rental car that Marshall had taken out for two weeks. He unlocks the door as I walk around to the passangers side. "Don't you dare open the door." He says quickly as I reach for the handle. "I wanna do this right." He points at me.
"And what are you going to do if I open the door?" I challenge as I arch my brow at him.
"I will kick your ass onto the ground and drive back to our suite." He says.
"Hu. Lovely." I tilt my head to the side as I laugh lightly and watch him walk around towards me.
"Isn't it?" He chuckles. I take a step back and fold my arms across my chest as I wait for him. "You're smart for not opening that door." He winks at me.
"I don't want my ass kicked to the ground." I shrug and watch him let out a laugh.
"Good." He nods. "Cause I don't wanna do that." He smiles at me, making me smile back at him as I shake my head. His smile slowly fades away as he stops by the front of the car. He looks past me as he freezes in his spot.
"Today would be nice, Marshall." I say as I drum my fingers on the window. Marshall slowly looks back at me. I stand up straight at the confused and scared expression on his face. "What is it?" I ask.
"Nothing." Marshall says as he clears his throat. I start to slowly turn around when Marshall stops me. "Don't look at him! You'll make it obvious." He says quickly.
"Who's he?" I ask. Marshall ignores me as he opens the car door for me.
"Get in." He waves me in. His whole mood has changed. I don't say anything and get into the passangers seat. I expect Marshall to close the door but he leans into the car and pulls at my seat belt. I move back against the seat as he leans across me and pushes the belt in place.
"Who is it?" I ask. "Marshall." I call him as I place my hand on his cheek, making move awau before he turns his face towards mine.
"Don't fucking touch me." He says slowly before he moves away. I open my mouth to speak but Marshall stands up and closes the door with a loud bang. I sit there in confusion and shock as Marshall slowly makes his way around to the drivers seat. He gets in and quickly starts the engine before he reverses his car and does a quick u-turn. "Tessa?" He calls me, making me turn the other way.
"Shut up, Marshall." I say quietly as I shake my head and cross one leg over the other.
"Did you call him here?" He says, talking over me. "Did you fucking call you manger here?" He raises his voice slightly.
"Leroy?" I turn to face him.
"No the queen of England, Tessa. Yes Leroy!" He throws his hand up in the air. I hold onto my seat as he speeds down the road.
"Slow down." I say quickly. "And why the hell would you think that I called him?" I say. "Wait...He's here...He's here in Greece." I say slowly as I place my hand over my forehead.
"First you go behind my back and make me sign the contract and then you fucking call Leroy over to fucking spy on me?" He shakes his head. "How many fucking times are you gonna go behind my back?" He asks.
"Do you even realise what you're fucking saying?" I ask in disbelief.
"How many fucking times!" He screams, his face goes bright red as he slams his hand on the steering wheel. "All I wanted was to spend some time alone with you!" He adds.
"Instead of accusing me-" I start and get cut off.
"I don't wanna hear you speak right now." He says. "You know, you can do what ever the fuck you want to destroy what we have. But if you think that i'm going to sign those divorce papers that you have in your bag then you can fucking think again!" He yells as he bangs his hand against his window.
I open my mouth to stay speak but close it again. I sink down in my seat as I cover my face. I don't bother trying to defend myself. He's going to hate me more and more as the second goes by. Maybe then he can agree to the divorce. I was stupid to think that I could spend two weeks with my family in peace and forget about the contract and divorce papers.
What the fuck is Leroy doing here? I talked to him this morning, there is no way he can be here but what if he is....And what if he's been watching us this whole fucking time. I kick my heels against the car and let out a long sigh.
How many times will you fuck up, Tessa!
"What? Pissed you got busted?" Marshall says. "And you're not even defending yourself." He scoffs when I stay quiet.

"I'm hungry." Iris whines.
"Yeah? What else is new?" Marshall chuckles as he looks at Iris. Iris throws a cushion at Marshall and drops down ontop of his legs.
"Mom. Can we go out?" Iris asks, making me look up.
"Me and your mom just came home." Marshall mumbles.
"Let's just order in, love." I say as I pick up Jameson and pull him onto my lap.
"Fine." She shrugs. She picks up the hotels phone and dials away from the leaflet infront of her before she places the phone to her ear. "Yes, hi. Do you do pizza's? Okay. Can I have one large pizza. Half chicken and half pepperoni and stuffed crust." She says. "Also chicken wings, chicken strips, fries and garlic bread. Chocolate and raspberry ice cream if you have that....No, not mixed. Separate and also a bottle of diet coke and make sure it's diet please." Iris says, making me smile lightly as I shake my head. She's going to end up eating one slice of pizza and get full.
"Yeah because that diet coke will make everything else healthier." Marshall says, making Iris laugh at him sarcastically before she rolls her eyes. I find it funny how Marshall can mask his emotions so well and fast infront of the kids. As soon as we got back half an hour ago, Marshall went back to his normal self since the kids were there.
"You want anything dad?" Iris asks.
"Most of that food is mine." Marshall says.
"You wish." Iris says. "Ry?" She shouts.
"No!" He yells back from the balcony.
"Well could you ask the others?" She says.
"Hailie, Alaina, Milo! What do you want to eat!" I watch him yell through the glass doors that lead to the balcony.
"You're supposed to go to them and ask. Even I could have shouted out to them!" Iris shouts.
"Well you should have!" Ryder shouts back, making Iris roll her eyes.
"Just order them a cheese pizza." Marshall says.
"Hello?" Iris places the phone to her ear again. "Yes and one cheese pizza." Iris says. "Can you deli-" She starts and gets cut off.
"I'll go collect it." Marshall says quickly.
"Never mind. My dad will be there to collect it....Mhmm...Names Marshall. Okay. Bye." Iris says before she hangs up the phone. Marshall gestures for Iris to get up so he stand up. He picks up his keys and walks out.
"Wanna come?" Marshall asks.
"No." Iris drops back down on the couch, making Marshall walk out of the room.
A few seconds later we hear the front door open and close. I lay down on the carpet and play with Jameson as Iris reads a magazine. Ryder comes out from the balcony a minute or two after Marshall leaves.
"I'm bored." He mumbles as he places his mobile phone down on the table. "Where's dad?" He asks.
"Gone to get food." Iris mumbles.
"Did he just leave?" He asks as he turns to look at me. I nod in response, making him pick up his phone.
"Well can I go with him?" He asks.
"Yeah. He should be in the car park. Give him a ring." I say, making him nod.
"Bye." He mumbles as he walks out the living room.
"Can you get me nuggets too!" Iris yells, after him.
"Iris, I will kill you myself if you leave even one crumb." I say, making her smile lightly before she flicks the page from her magazine.

"Tessa?" I let out a sigh and open my eyes as Marshall walks out of the ensuit. He moves the duvet from his side and lays down. I hadn't slept all night last night and i'm still sore from earlier on so I decided to take a thirty minute nap before we watch a move with kids.
"What? You finally calmed down?" I mumble as I keep my gaze fixed on the chandelier.
"Did you know he was here...Spying on us?" He asks.
"Screw you Marshall." I huff and turn my back towards him.
"You went behind my back before. I'm scared you're going to do the same again." He says quickly, making me turn around to face him again.
"When will you realise that what I'm doing is for us? For our family?" I say as I look at him.
"When will you realise that your hurting me with all-" He starts but I talk over him.
"Marshall, I don't want to hurt you." I say as I sit up.
"I'm not the kind of man who talks about how he feels much Tessa but you're fucking killing me here." He stands up and turns his back towards me. "You know how much it hurts when ever you mention a divorce or when you mention anything else about leaving me?" He stops by the balcony glass doors and lets out a heavy sigh. I stay quiet as I watch him shake his head and look out at the sea. "You're everything I have....You're all I need and you want to leave me?" He asks.
"I don't want another murder to be on our heads." I say quietly.
"We don't know for sure if it was murder." He says.
"Yes it was. I lost them, Marshall." I climb out of the bed. "I lost Karla. I lost Chris. I lost Nick." I raise my voice slightly as tears flush my eyes.
"And now you're going to fucking lose me too!" He screams as he turns around to face me, making me flinch. "Or do I not mean anything to you, Tessa?" He asks. "Man, I....I hate how it's so fucking easy for you." He shakes his head.
"You.." I let out a laugh in disbelief as I ball my hair up in my fist and start to walk away from him.
"That's right. Walk away." He says just as I reach the door.
"No." I stop. "No!" I turn around. "You think this is fucking easy for me?" I point at him as I shout. "How could you even think that? How fucking dare you even think that!" I yell at him as I walk towards him.
"Then forget about that fucking divorce, baby! Forget about it all and stay with me!" He begs as he holds his hand up at me.
"It's not that easy! You know it's not that easy!" I shake my head.
"I'm fucking begging you not to do this Tessa." He says quietly as he holds his hands up.
"Don't Marshall." I sigh as I shake my head.
"What? You want me to get on my knees and beg?" He asks. I cover my face from him to hide my tears. "There. I'm on my damn knees." He says, making me move my hands away from my face. I look down at him as he stands on his knees. "Don't do this to me....To us." He says, making me shake my head.
"I'm sorry." I whispers as I cry silently. "I am so...Sorry but this....This has to be...." I trail off when my voice cracks. "This has to be done, Marshall." I say as I lower down infront of him. I take his hands between mine as I watch him shake his hands. "I'm so sorry." I whisper again. Marshall's eyes get glossy with tears as he shakes his head.
"Mom!" We hear mom yell. "Mom!" She shouts again.
"We have to think about the kids. We have to protect them." I shrug lightly and slowly stand up.
