You were just landing in Dublin to see Niall perform at Croke Park. Niall wanted all his close friends and family there for this special occasion. Of course being his girl bestfriend you wouldn't miss this for the world. Ireland is Niall's heart and soul. You and Niall have been best friends for two going on three years now. You guys met on a plane leaving from D.C. You guys ended up sitting next to each other in first class. You guys talked and got to know each other on the plane & ever since then you guys have been inseparable since.
Niall sent a car to pick you up from the airport to take you to the hotel. You texted him to let him know you are on your way.

So you get to the hotel and check in. It is so beautiful. The view you have is beautiful. After admiring everything jet legged kicked in. You ended up getting in the comfy hotel bed & fell into a deep sleep.
Niall's Pov
I was calling y/n to tell her I was on my way to see her so I can take her out but she wasn't answering. I figure she probably kept her phone on vibrate from the plane. She never realizes when her phone is going off it's so funny. Y/n is my best friend. A best friend anyone could ever ask for. I tell her everything & trust her with everything. She's a true jewel. I reach her room & I have a key to her room & I call out for her no reply. I then walked into the bedroom to only see her laying down sleep like a angel. I walked over to wake her up.
"Y/nnnnnnn......... Y/nnnnn" I said trying to wake her up & I place my hand on her soft cheek slowly stroking it.
Her pretty brown eyes slowly opened. Once she realized it was me a smile spread across her face, showing her pearly white perfect smile.
"Hi" she said in her sleepy voice
"Hi....jet legged huh? " I said remembering she's sensitive to jet legged
"Yeah....it just kinda hit me out of nowhere" she giggles & I giggle along with her
"Are you hungry...ready to go get some food?" I asked
"Niall....when am I not hungry?" She says jokingly and I laugh. She's too funny
"Alrighty then get up so we can go" I said while placing my hands on her shoulders to pull her up because she was laying down still
She sits up and I remove my hands from her. She rubs her eyes and then perks up & gives me a big hug. Then she jokingly shuffles my hair. I poke her on her sides just because I know it makes her laugh. We get up & she decided to change her clothes so I stepped out the room so she can change. After about 10 minz she's ready and we head out.
I took y/n to one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Dublin. This is y/n first time here. She's admiring everything & she thinks it's so beautiful here. I'm happy she is enjoying it. Y/n is the type of person that can find the beauty in anything. She's so carefree & i think that's why we get on so well.
We were enjoying our food & had great conversation. We caught up on everything that was going on with us. It's my first time seeing her since April. She's been busy & I've been busy we haven't had time to really hang out like we normally do.
It's been raining in Ireland all day & now there's a thunderstorm rolling in. Y/n has a fear of thunderstorms. It's so funny but she will really freak out so let me get her back to the hotel so she doesn't flip out. I see it in her eyes she's about to do it now. So I paid for lunch & we headed back. I was mad because I didn't get to take her out anywhere & everything was in passing but we will have later to do so . While we are in the car y/n is freaking out over the lightening it's so hilarious.
"Stop laughing it's not funny! You know I'm scared of these things" y/n complained like a child
"Stop being a big cry baby, nothing is going to happen" I said trying to calm her down
We finally make it back to the hotel & go to her room. We ended up watching a good movie on tv. Well she was i couldn't enjoy it with her because my phone was going off constantly. I had emails & texts coming in from the people I'm working with because I'm hosting a charity football game this week, my family is coming in & they are letting me know they are on their way, Harry & Liam just texted me wanting to hang & see y/n, they just got here. I started to feel sorta bad because I wanted to enjoy the movie with y/n and I couldn't because I had to answer all these important messages. I wanted to spend time with her before we get around everyone els because I haven't seen her in 3 months basically. I missed her and now I'm starting to think I'm slowly falling for my best friend.
" Niall!! Your phone is ringing in your hands answer it ! " y/n says snapping me out of my thoughts I quickly answered it. Liam was calling me
"Yes Payno" I said
" mate where are you? Are you in the hotel?" Liam said
"Yeah I'm with y/n in her room" I said
"Y/n hereeee what floor are you on?" Liam asked excited to see y/n
I asked y/n if she wanted to see Liam & Harry. She said she would be happy to see them so I told them the floor and room number. I mentally prepared myself for them coming. I said goodbye to the laid back atmosphere between me and y/n & realized I had to share y/n with everyone now. When her and the boys are in the same room it's nothing but jokes, laughs and craziness
They finally get here. Liam didn't hug me he brushed right pass me to get to y/n but Harry hugged me & came in.
"Y/nnnnnnn ! How are you love it's been to long" Liam says as he hugs y/n
"I know dear friend, Liam my lad ! " y/n says dramatically. These two are too much
"Harry ! My buddy ! " y/n says & Harry & her talk for awhile.
I had to step out because I had to talk to people about the charity event & get things straightened out. Then my mom called and told me she's finally here. I'm excited to see my mom. So I went back in the room and told everyone about dinner with my family. Of course they all came. I introduced y/n to my mom for the first time. Now they talk like they have none each other & me for years or something. After we had dinner my mom was really tired & was ready for bed. Y/n went to her room & Harry hung out with her for a bit. While I walked my mom to her room.
"Niall y/n yeah....she is so lovely" my mom said jokingly
"She's a sweetheart isn't she?" I said
"Yes she is....so are you and her have a little thing going on. If you do I approve . She's a good girl & has a good head on her shoulders." she said seriously
"No me and y/n are just friends......i don't want to ruin our friendship" I said truthfully.
"You can never ruin what is meant to be...trust me she likes you more than just a friend. Best friends turn into the best lovers..... I know you will take good care of her" She said sweetly
"Ok mom....love you get some sleep" I said while hugging her. We said our goodnights & I headed back to y/n room thinking. It's nuts to think my mom thinks me & y/n would be perfect together. The honest truth is I have thought about being more than friends with y/n. But our friendship is so strong & solid. I don't want things to change. I love how things are. I don't want her to get hate even though the fans love her & they know we are best friends. Fans even ship us together & always thought we were more than friends but it wasn't true. I feel like things will get complicated if we change the nature of our relationship.
I finally reached y/n room & saw them all on the couch talking and laughing. Harry had the guitar & was trying to play something. Harry let me have the guitar & I started to strum a few chords.
"Nialll play my favorite song pleaseeeeeeee" y/n asked me sweetly with a big smile
"Which one?" I asked y/n has way too many favorite songs so I had to ask
"Playyyyyyyyy.....Free Fallin ! " she said finally deciding on a favorite song of hers she wants me to play. I begin to play the into which is her favorite part in the John Mayer's cover. Harry loves that song too so he began singing a lil bit of the verse. Y/n was just enjoying it because she loves when we sing to her. She eventually turns it into a karaoke sing along with Harry & Liam. They are so hilarious.
After fooling around Paul came in demanding us to get ready for bed. He didn't want us up all night since we have a long weekend. We have a show tomorrow, then a interview, then we have to fly to Glasgow for Radio 1 concert the next morning after that & then fly back to do our show that night. The schedule is crazy. I was the last one y/n hugged after she said goodnight to everyone. I left to my room which is down the hall. I shared a room with Harry. Harry was in bed and knocked by the time I got back to our room. I got ready for bed & all I kept thinking about is how much fun today has been. I thought a little bit of what my mom
said but I just struggled it off and allowed myself to fall into a deep sleep.
