BACON POV -- (Say what?!?!)

My eyes bounced back and forth on the screen as a car chase ensued, bullets flying from guns, the yells of the drivers as they tried to escap–

The door to the RV opened and Zak stepped on with a relieved smile on his face, his eyes were bright... Then it all changed.

His smile fell, the brightness in his eyes died, his skin paled and shoulders lowered "W-where's Katy?"

I paused. "Outside?"

Zak shook his head "It's raining.." his head snapped over towards Billy who was shaking the rain off him like a dog.

"Dude the heavens hav- what's happened?" He asked seeing Zak's face.

"Katy. She's gone." Zak mustered before springing his body forward to look out the windows.

"Gone? What do you mean gone? Gone where?" Billy asked as I pulled on my coat.

"I don't know! I don't.. You were suppose to be watching her!" Zak yelled in my direction.

"Zak come on man!" Aaron intervened.

I frowned hard at myself "She said she was checking to see what time you were having a break. She would have been outside the RV."

"She isn't!!" Zak snapped as Billy tried ringing her.

"So I've been looking at the history of the man–"

"Not now Jay, Katy is missing!" Zak interrupted before pushing his way off the RV.

I followed after Billy who took off when Zak hit the ground calling for her. Pulling up the hood on my coat, I rounded the RV on the opposite side trying to see if I could see her but the darkness and the hardness of the rain was making it impossible.

"Ring her!" Zak ordered.

"She's no-"

"Ring her again! And again! Don't stop trying her phone!" He demanded before running towards the edge of the gravel.

"Zak look!" Jay pointed to the grass where there were footprints from the pressure of her weight on the soft grounds.

I watched Zak fumble around with his pockets until a flashlight came up to his side from Aaron. He shot him a nod before they both headed across the grass whilst Zak sent Jay back to the RV with Billy who was trying her phone constantly.

"I need to go with-!"

"Go back Bill! We need someone to ring her! If your phone gets ruined we have no hope! Go back!" Aaron ordered causing Billy to kick at the gravel in anger but head back.

"Bacon! Now!"

I moved at Zak's tone and headed into the wooded area of the property with them, ducking and pushing past branches that tried to pull us into the darkness. I groaned at the mud that caked my new trainers but continued on the path behind Zak who steamrollered ahead.

"How long have you known?!" Aaron hissed.

"Known what?" I asked keeping an eye out as we quickened our pace.

"Zak and Katy?"

"Oh. Had my suspicions."

"Didn't think to share them?" Aaron asked annoyed.

I pulled him by his arm making him stop "She loves him, and you think he's doing all this out of friendship? Leave them alone man."

"Leave them alone? She's Billy's siste-"

"She isn't his family!" I hissed back before pushing past him to make my way towards Zak.

I knew Aaron was worried, worried that this would cause another member of the crew to leave, but he had to understand that it had nothing to do with us. If anything, Zak's moods have been brilliant for the past few weeks and I'm putting that down to the fact Katy was part of his life.

"Stop!" Zak hissed bringing both myself and Aaron to a stand still. We waited, I myself held my breath, but let it go when Zak changed course.

"I'm so sorry man." I spoke as I got nearer.

"If anything has happened to her, I'm holding you responsible." He replied stopping us again.

"I promise I'll do whatever it takes to make this up to you and to Katy.. I should have realised." I answered feeling the guilt hitting home as I saw his face.

"I- I can't go through all of it again. I can't." He whispered moving on faster through the undergrowth.

I knew what he meant.. He meant he couldn't be without her again, he couldn't not live a life without her being a part of it. Which meant Katy wasn't the only one harbouring feelings..

"Shh!" He hissed stopping us all again. Only this time we could hear music. "This way!"

Cutting through the trees, we fell into a clearing, Zak caught Aaron's flash light as he tossed it to him and we began pacing forward when Zak flashed the light over the ground.

I spotted a black patch on the ground and tried to focus my eyes harder on it when I realised it wasn't all that it seemed.

"Bro!" I hit his shoulder and made my way over to it. I stopped seeing the patch was in fact a pit.

Music started up making my head snap over to Zak who's eyes widened "Katy?!"

The flashlight hit a black jacket covered in mud, followed by a pale face.

"Shit!" Aaron hissed seeing her. "How do we get her out?"

The pit was at least 14 feet wide by 7 feet deep. Too high for a woman of 5,3.

Aaron's answer was given as Zak wasted no time in getting himself onto the ground and searching for a way to get down there with her...

Billy POV--

I paced the RV looking at Jay who was using the laptop to try and track her position using the satellite.

"This is taking too much time man. Where the hell is she?"

Jay shook his head "I have no idea."

"Maybe I should do a loop of the house? The grounds as well maybe?" I guessed looking to him for advice.

"Stay put Bill, she will be back soon."

"But what if she's n–"

The door to the RV swung back as Bacon and Aaron came on soaking wet, shedding their coats, I looked between them ready to ask where the hell Zak was when he stepped onto the RV with Katy crumpled against his chest.

"Katy?! What has happened?!" I asked looking at her water soaked clothes and muddy shoes. Zak himself was in the same condition..

"She fell in a trapping pit." Aaron answered grabbing the blankets from the bed and throwing them to the side.

I tried to look past Zak's retreating figure and Katy's hair that was clogged with mud. "A trap?!"

"Shut the lockdown down Aaron. Do whatever you need to do to gain a full episode. I'm not going back." Zak answered before looking at me. "Calm down and help me."

I went to his side looking over Katy who was shivering hard, her teeth clicking together violently as she held herself.

"What do I do?" I asked Zak who was pulling off her jacket.

"Take her clothes off her." He replied tossing her coat behind us.

"I'm not taking her clot–"

"You don't take them off and she will get hypothermia! We are too far out to get anywhere fast. You don't want to do it? Then fine. But get the heating on this RV starting and put the kettle on.. Now." He demanded before going to work on her.

I began rushing around the RV, using the stove to heat up some water and pushed buttons until the heating came on.

"Z-Z-Zak." Katy whispered.

"I know sweetie. It's okay..." I watched as Zak took off his coat and pulled off his own jumper, t-shirt and thermal before placing them onto her body.

His hands grabbed the blankets and sheets of the bed before wrapping her in them tightly. His eyes never left her as he worked fast in removing her jeans and tossing them onto her coat.

"Lay down here for me."

"M-my L-leg." She stuttered.

"Let me see..." He moved the blanket aside to check her leg. That's when I noticed the cut across her shin. It wasn't deep but was long and looked sore. "It's okay, just a little scratch. They are still as beautiful as ever." He replied flashing her a smile.

Her cold face filled a weak smile as her eyes looked at him with adm-

"Are you serious?" I asked causing Zak's head to twist around. His eyes seemed to widen as it dawned on him that I had worked it all out.

"Not now." He whispered shooting Katy a look whose teeth were still clanking away.

Not one emotion took control, amongst anger, disapproval, shock and happiness.

I shook my head at him. "I'm going to help Aaron."

"Bill I need you her-"

"I said I'm going to help Aaron." I snapped before stalking out the RV and towards the mansion.

Anger was winning the war right now..
