You blindly navigate your way through the forest, the cold air nipping at your cheeks and tears stain your eyes. Your dad is a killer. He's a murderer. He's a death eater. You slump against a tree hopelessly.
"Now I know where he goes during the summer...," you cry under your breath.
"Well, well," a voice says from around the tree. You struggle up once you see the large coaked man come into view and start backing the other way away from him around the tree. "Oh, Is the pretty little girl scared?"
"N-No," you stutter back. He shakes his head and you suddenly feel someone behind you. You look up to see another masked man in black.
"What should we do with her?" one of them says.
"Let's taker her to Malfoy Manor," the other says. "We should be going. We're behind the others."
One of them grabs you and drags you along. You struggle against his grip, but your efforts are in vain. They have a firm grip on you and take you across the line of the Hogwarts grounds and apparate away. You three land in front of Draco's home. It seems darker than usual. You would sometimes come here during summer when your father was out. You pass through the front gate and you're dragged into the basement and dumped in the cellar. They shut the door behind you roughly and you hear it lock. There's no escaping now. You know the cellar's enchanted. You go over to the corner and lean against the wall and cry yourself to sleep.

You wake up to see the Death Eaters from the night before are here and unlocking the door. They tie you up and walk you up to the drawing room. There, you see Voldemort himself along with Draco's father, some other Death Eaters, and your father, too. He looks solemn and looks like he has no intention to help you. Anger boils in your stomach at the sight.
"Ah. Here she is!" Voldemort says. You look up at him and stare into his eyes. "Y/n Snape... How long I've waited to meet you."
"Meet me? Why?" you ask.
"We've wanted you for a long time," he replies. You shake your head.
"What do you want me for?" you say back.
"To join us just like your boyfriend and your father have," he says simply, walking over to you, his snake following. You try to take a step back in apprehension, but the Death Eaters keep you in place. "Come along now, y/n. Show me your arm."
You subconsciously start to shake your head. Voldemort's eyes flare up in anger and draw his wand.
"CRUCIO!" he shouts so loudly it bounces off the walls. You double over in pain, screaming loudly. You sense someone coming up the stairs. It's Draco. He stops in his tracks in front of you, watching as you scream in pain for mercy while your father stands still. Voldemort lifts the spell and you relax a bit but you're still in shock. Your head is spinning and the pain still lingers.
"Y/n...," Draco whispers, trying to go over to you but he's ushered away by his father. Voldemort nods in satisfaction and raises his wand again.
"No, no, no...," you whisper.
"CRUCIO!"

You struggle up and find yourself freezing from the stone floor below. You're in the cellar again. You gasp in pain as you feel the pan's residue still there. You sigh and look down at your arm. Among the cuts and lacerations is a black mark just like Draco's. You cry out and tears start to flood from your cheeks.
"This isn't what I want!" you cry.
"Y/n!" you hear someone call out to you. "Y/n!"
"Draco?" you gasp, looking towards the door. You rush over to the bars where your boyfriend stands.
"Oh, my god, y/n! You're alive!" he gasps, his eyes teary. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know they took you! I'm so sorry, love! I had no idea!"
"It's not your fault. It's mine. I followed you after I saw what happened in the astronomy tower...," you cry back.
"Wait... You saw that?" he gasps. You nod. "Y/n... I-I."
"No, Draco. You don't have to explain," you say softly. "I understand..."
"Oh, y/n," he whispers. "I'm still sorry. It's because of me that we're here now. I came to visit you to make sure you stayed in your dorm, but I ended up making you leave... I'm an awful boyfriend.."
"No, you're not!" I snap back. "You're a fantastic boyfriend! Don't ever doubt that! It's only the messed up world we live in that's awful!"
You reach through the bars and take his face in your hands and wipe away the tears with your thumbs gently.
"It'll be okay, Draco. As long as we have each other," you say. "That's what's important."
He nods and you kiss him through the bars. He smiles a bit.
"The world we live in is messed up, y/n. You're right," he sighs. "But we do have each other. It's great when we're together."
You nod and kiss him again.
"Promise me we'll stay together?" you say quietly.
"Of course, y/n. You're my number one priority. We'll get through this together!"
