You're probably wondering how my wedding night went.

Well, to be honest, I didn't have much of one.

I stayed sleeping on Theo's shoulder the whole ride until he woke me up.

"Anya, we're here," he smiled slightly.

I smiled sleepily at him and the first thing I saw through the window was the beaming sun, so we must be somewhere warm.

I didn't bother getting my bags because someone would grab them for us anyways. That, and Theo wouldn't let me.

He took my hand and put a blindfold around my eyes.

I sighed dramatically.

"Is that really necessary?"

"Yes. Now follow my lead," he said, well, more like demanded.

I followed him outside and the second we walked out, I was overcome by beautiful warmth. Thank god. I despise the cold.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Yes," I said exasperated.

He took off my blindfold and I gasped.

"Welcome to Maldives, princess," he whispered.

We were in Asia!

The sun was peeking through the beautiful large trees and it was much warmer than Canada.

I hugged him.

"I am in love! Thank you," I told him, truly meaning it. "So where are we staying?"

"This is only the first part of the trip but I have my own place, Princess. C'mon."

Impressive.

We walked to his (almost) normal sized house (for once) and began unpacking. It took me much longer than him so he left to catch up on important e-mails.

The rooms were cozy and had a very homey feeling. Floors were wooden and rooms were painted different nature themes. Theo and I would be sharing a room which made me nervous. The bed was ginormous.

Once I finished unpacking I washed up and wore a flowy yellow sundress, ready for the beach. I quickly threw on waterproof mascara to feel fancy.

I walked out of the bathroom half expecting Theo to be passed out on the couch but was pleasantly surprised when he was ready in his blue swim trunks and a tight black T-shirt.

"Ready?" he asked, putting his phone down.

"As ever," I said, walking towards the door.

He followed with a basket in his hand.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Just basic supplies. Food and stuff," he answered.

My ears perked up. "Food?"

"Yep, food," he smirked.

"What kind of food?"

"Good food," he said sneakily.

I sighed, giving up.

My sour mood was erased when we approached the beautiful waves.

I walked towards the water and dipped my feet in the ocean, allowing my long hair to flow in the wind.

I took a moment to view my surroundings and we were completely alone. The only other people around were the bodyguards, and even they were quite a far distance away. I could stay here forever.

Suddenly I heard a loud splash and freaked out.

"Theo? Where are you?" I said, no sight of him.

"Over here!" he yelled, waving his hands.

I looked over and saw him swimming and jumping around in the ocean. his brown hair was all ruffed up and he looked adorable.

"I'm coming!" I called back.

I slipped off my sundress and revealed my modest two piece swim suit before following him into the waves.

I decided to stay a bit closer to shore because I didn't want to risk anything.

We swam around for a few hours, soaking in the warm sun before deciding to go grab a bite.

He, gentlemanly as ever, set up a small picnic blanket and revealed delicious looking sandwiches.

Immediately I dug in. Typical.

Once we finished we decided to be productive with our time and actually explore.

He lifted me off the ground bridal style and I held on to his neck while staring into his beautiful green eyes.

I was starstruck. His eyes never failed to leave me speechless.

We reached the house and he placed me on my feet.

"Get ready princess. We're going shopping," he said, before heading off to a room to get ready.

I went to another room to get dressed in a flowy yellow skirt with a simple pink crop top. I grabbed a bag and my sun hat before meeting Theo outside.

Theo was about to call the driver but I stopped him.

"Why don't we walk?" I asked.

"Do you want to?" He replied, seeming to consider it.

"I don't see why not. I mean, the shopping area is fairly near, right?" I said, checking for confirmation.

"Actually, it's only a ten minute walk. You know what? Bob, no need to take the car for now. I'm going for a walk with my lady. We'll call you when we need to be picked up," he told the driver, who I'm assuming is Bob.

Bob nodded and left.

Theo held my hand as we walked.

And five minutes later we had no idea where we were going.

So far, no stores in sight.

"Damn you map app," he muttered to his phone.

I giggled.

He cracked a smile.

"Well I see plenty of people here so we shouldn't be far," he stated, looking around.

I nodded and we walked for a minute longer before Theo decided to give into his big ego and ask for help.

I pointed to a random guy with his friend. I couldn't see his face but he was speaking English so at least we could communicate.

Theo sighed. "Why not?" He said to me before tapping his shoulder.

"Hey man, do you know how to get to the city?" He asked in his manly voice.

The man turned around and I held my breath.

Oh god.

Why did it have to be him?

My ex.

I tried to keep cool and casually use my hat to cover my face but I was failing miserably because the man's attention went straight to me for a quick second.

He went back to telling Theo directions but he had a small smirk on his plump lips. As usual.

Theo nodded towards him. "Thanks man, I got it now," he said.

"Sure thing. You're that hotshot CEO, right?" He asked Theo, confirming what he probably already knew.

"Yeah man, that's me. Anyways, I'll be heading off with my wife now. Thanks for the help," he said, grabbing my hand, not a fan of the attention.

His eyes widened for a split second before returning to normal again.

"Of course. I'll see you around," he said, taking a quick look at me and my stomach, before leaving with his friend.

Theo saw my face. "Everything okay?"

I faked a smile. "Just great! C'mon, let's go shop," I said with false enthusiasm.

He seemed weary at first but after a while, he bought the act, so we continued on with our journey.

We reached the city and visited many beautiful street shops, stores and boutiques. I bought beautiful new shirts and necklaces, as well as a few souvenirs for Cali and Brian.

As much as I tried to enjoy my time with Theo, my mind would constantly drift off to wonder about him.

What was he doing here in Maldives?

My ex.

Amar.
