•Sebastian's point of view•
There was chaos in the palace. Everyone was confused. Those who weren't, were already whispering among each other. Some even gave Father dirty looks, thinking he knew that their Queen was a witch and that he was covering up for her.
Father was both angry and sad. He really respected Diane. Not because she was the Queen but because she was his late brother's wife. When he died he asked Father to take care of Diane and their son Louis.
I looked over and I see Louis sitting down staring at the ground. He's shocked... He wouldn't talk to anyone at all, I don't blame him.
"Where could she possibly be?! You can not tell me you're not able to find her!" Father started yelling at the guards.
"Your Highness, people had seen a royal carriage exit kingdom in full spe.."
"I do not care! Find her and bring her here to me! I don't want to hear another excuse." The guards bowed down and left throne room quickly. I admit Father is scary when he's angry.
He walked straight to me and put his hand on my shoulder gently, "I'm sorry son, you should be resting but instead I'm putting you through this."
"No father I'm alright please don't worry. I'm just worried for Kenna.. and Louis." I looked over at Louis, Father sighed.
"He wasn't aware of anything? He was with his mother all the time.."
"Father please don't say that! Louis had nothing to do with his mother. He was really shocked when we found her chambers full of.. uh stuff Diane left behind."
"I will talk to him don't worry. How is Kenna?"
"She's better. Lady Olenna and the girls are taking care of her but she's really quiet." I looked down not sure what to say.
He squeezed my shoulder, "I can trust you will take care of her. Oh and Sebastian, send a raven to the north and ask your brothers to come back. We need them here at this time." He then walked over to Louis and sat down next to him, I watched them for while as they talked quietly.
•Kenna's point of view•
They had moved my stuff from Claude's chambers to a separate one. I loved staying with Claude but I'm glad I can have more alone time now. I pulled the covers over me, the room was really cold no matter how much wood they added to the fireplace.
Olenna poured me more tea and hand it to me. "Drink some more dear, it will keep you warm." I sipped a little bit of it carefully. It burned my lips but I didn't mind it.
We heard a knock on the door then Lysa and Catia walked in. Olenna gave them a look.
"My apologies Lady Olenna but there is still no news and no one knows where Queen Diane might be." Catia
Olenna smirked, "Oh Catia do not call her a queen. She's not a queen in our eyes anymore, she's a cold blooded witch. Henry will burn her at the stake as soon as they find her."
I placed the cup of tea down and got out of the bed.
"Kenna dear you shouldn't get out of bed, you're still weak!" Olenna watched me as I started walking around the room.
"Lady Kenna please you need to rest." Lysa ran towards me.
"I'm fine thank you, I just need to walk around a little." I looked down at my wrist, remembering what Diane told me before she left.
"I never liked her attitude, she was cold and so full of herself. Everyone knew she always wanted Henry's crown for herself." Olenna let out a laugh.
"But I still can not believe our Queen was a witc..." Olenna gave Catia a sharp look, probably because she called Diane a Queen again.
I stood next to the window and looked outside. What if they don't find her? I will never go back home ever again.. I will never see my family or friends ever again. Just thinking about it made me started crying, wondering what was going they stood beside me trying to calm me down.
"What is the matter, Kenna?? talk to me dear." Olenna caresses my hair, wiping my tears.
But I could barely breath let alone tell her what's going on. Lysa poured me some water.
"I know what Diane made you go through was horrible.. all you need is rest."
"No Olenna you don't understand! She's the one who brought me here which means she's the only one who knows how I can go back! and now that she's gone... I may never be able to go back.."
Olenna paused for a second then looked at the girls, "There might be someone who can.."
The girls nodded and left the room in a hurry. Olenna wiped my tears again then made me lay down on the bed.
"Do not worry about anything. Everything will be ok, just rest up." She gave me a kind smile then left the room.
I took out the necklace my brother Jeremy gave me and looked at it, "I miss you guys so much..I'm so sorry." I closed my eyes as I slowly fell asleep.
I slowly opened my eyes when I felt like someone was in my room. I got out of bed and walked over to the dressing room. She was standing there in front of the mirror taking her cloak off. She suddenly noticed me gave me a smile.
"Hello, sorry I didn't mean to wake you up." She said in a quiet voice.
"No.. uh no that's fine." I gave her a confused look.
"Oh my apologies I didn't introduce myself. I'm Mary."
My eyes widened as soon as she said her name, "Oh..It's finally nice to meet you. I heard so much about you."
She smiled again, "I also heard so much about you Kenna. We have a lot to talk about!"
Something about her made me feel comfortable, like a side of her no one mentioned to me while talking about her. We both sat down alone in my room like two friends who haven't seen each other in a very long time.
She told me about our powers, she sounded so smart, intelligent and kind.
"You don't need to worry about being powerful, as long as you open your heart you will be able to see anything. Not just future but the past as well."
"The king.. he told me that I will be able to bring my late brother back to life once I learn more about my powers... Mary, will you help me?"
She looked at me for a couple of seconds, "I'm sorry Kenna but.. you're only able to bring someone back if they have passed away recently.. That old bastard. He lied to you."
I stopped breathing for a minute. You know when you get that big lump in your throat when you're about to burst into tears. Yes, I felt that. My only hope was gone...
Mary saw that in my face and gave me hug, "Oh kenna.. I'm so sorry. At least he's in a better place."
