A/N: Formal = End of year school dance if you happen to call it something else
Ashton:
It was formal night and since you and your best friend were dateless you decided to go with each other. Since you two arrived together and were talking to each other the whole time many of your friends thought you were finally together. You and Ashton were dancing in the middle of the dance floor when his friend Michael came up behind him. "Congrats Ashton, it's about time." He patted his back and looked to you. Ashton laughed, "we came as friends, mate," he said. "Sure, 'friends'." Michael teased and ran before Ashton could hit him. "People really want us together, don't they?" He asked you. "We're many people's OTP's." You joked. You two continued dancing to the music before the DJ announced that he was going to 'slow things down'. "Oh." Ashton laughed nervously and you blushed. "Wanna... Stay?" He asked awkwardly as couples started dancing around you. "I.. I'm not very good at slow dancing." You admitted. "Oh! I'll .. You know, I can, lead? You wanna do the shoulder thing or the ballroom thing?" He asked and you burst out laughing. "Uhm, the shoulder thing." You reluctantly wrapped your arms around his neck and he placed his lightly on your hips. He could tell you were really nervous so he leaned to your ear and whispered, "just relax." He looked down at your feet. "So just put your right foot in front of the space between my feet." He looked up at you and smiled. "Ok so just follow me, step to the right then follow with your left. Then step to the left and follow with your right, you're a natural," he said. When you looked up you realised that he'd moved a whole lot closer to you, with your faces only inches apart. Meanwhile, Michael was swaying dramatically through the couples to get to you. "Just friends!" He sung as he passed you.
Calum:
You decided to hang out with your boyfriend Calum before his soundcheck tonight. The guys were all hanging out backstage but you and Calum were on stage dancing to the music Luke had playing through the speakers. Little did you know that he was spying on you guys, and was about to put on the most romantic song he could find. Once it started playing you and Calum immediately ran to each other and started something that could definitely not be described as slow dancing. "Calum, what are you doing?" You laughed as he took both your hands and started spinning in circles. "Slow dancing, silly." He laughed. "No! I can teach you how to real slow dance.." You pulled his arms closer to you, took his left hand in your right and placed your left on his shoulder. "Okay, you can lead me." He laughed and followed your steps carefully. You both giggled when he accidentally stepped on your toe. "This is really cute." He said before he dipped you suddenly. "Woah! So wait you can dance?" You asked as he lifted you back up. "No, that was a fluke. It's possible you could have been seriously injured just then." So you and Calum continued slow dancing around the stage to the romantic songs Luke kept frantically having to find for you. You also didn't find out until after the concert that Luke had uploaded your little dance lesson to Keek.
Luke:
You were sitting on your sofa watching a rom com with your boyfriend, Luke. He was holding you under the blankets with his head resting in the crook of your neck. You looked at him and found that he was almost asleep. You laughed before you bumped him and made him look at the television. "Look, Luke!" You pointed at a couple that were slow dancing. "We've never slow danced before." You pouted. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. He lifted himself of the sofa, turned to face you, placed his left arm behind his back and held out his right. "May I have this dance?" He asked with sleep still ridden in his voice. You giggled and took his hand, "I'd love to." He pulled you up gently and wrapped his arms tightly around your waist. You wrapped yours around his neck and rested on his chest. "Is this slow dancing?" You asked as you two swayed slowly from side to side to the music from the television. "I don't really care I just like cuddling you." He wrapped his arms around you tighter.
Michael:
It was formal night and you were sitting alone. All your friends had been asked to dance by some other guys but no one had come up to ask you. You were debating whether to leave or not as you stared around the hall at all the couples dancing together. You sighed and went to call to get picked up when you looked up and saw an outstretched arm. You looked up further and saw your crush Michael staring down at you hopefully. "May I have this dance?" He asked and bit his lip. "Yes." You managed to say as you took his hand and he led you to the dance floor. "I couldn't stand watching a girl being so lonely, especially one as beautiful as you, Y/N." He said as he placed his hands on your hips. You blushed, "thank you." "Now I'm no expert in slow dancing so maybe you could help me." He laughed. You placed your hands on his shoulders and stepped slowly to the rhythm of the song. "So, right." You said and laughed as he stepped on your toes. "The other right." You hid your face in his chest. "Sorry!" He blushed and tried to follow your lead. "Ok, good?" He asked as his steps began to match yours. "Much better," but as soon as you went to turn a little he got mixed up and stepped on you again. "Aah." He gripped your waist and stepped back. "How about we just sway?" He suggested as he pulled you close to his chest. "Okay." Your heart went crazy when he leaned his chin on the top of your head.
