We sit in the stands waiting as the announcements are made, my angels have banners and Monty has pom poms... I'm not even going to ask.
Ming is sitting next to me, sipping my drink. He didn't want one when I asked, but the minute we sat he took mine, I should kick him.
P'Bee is taking pictures with one hand, holding Bas with the other, pointing at things for him. P'Sing comes and joins us, P'New is swimming in today's competition.
"Come to see your boyfriend, Sing?" P'Bee laughs.
"I'm not sure I like this." P'Sing says looking around.
"P'Sing! You have to support P'New!" Monty tells him.
"The crowd is part of it."
"All these people will see him." P'Sing looks annoyed. "They should cover up more."
"It's a family trait." Elephant sighs.
"Possessive as hell."
"I need a possessive boyfriend!" Crow ads.
"P'Bee, are you sure you want to see this?" Chicken asks.
"Hot guys in shorts, great bodies, dripping wet? Hell yes, boys."
We all look at her.
"What?" she asks. "Half the girls on the stands don't know anyone, they are here to drool."
"P'Bee..." Monty shakes his head.
"I'm single, don't you judge me." She glares.
P'Lee comes and sits near us.
"Don't try to run from us p." Ming snaps. "I have questions."
"You wanted to run away to Paris." Monty glares
"We can find you there!" Elephant states.
"Your all too nosey!" P'Lee tells them.
"Dam right." Monty tells him.
"We have times, and dates of all your meeting with P'Din."
"We even know the first night you became, official."
"We know about the flowers...."
"It was one flower..." P'Lee snaps.
"So, there were flowers!" Crow laughs.
"I hate you all." P'Lee sighs.
P'Sing is smiling, as he pats P'Lee's shoulder. "You'll get used to this, if they stop, that's when you really worry."
We watch the rest of the competition, our team are really good, they all get to the finals for different events, which will be held tomorrow. We meet them for lunch and congratulate them, they're all hyper, they loved Monty's pom pom cheering.
I look around as a group takes a table nearby, they seem to be tourists, looking around and asking questions. It isn't long before another person joins them, I realise its Himi, they must be his friends.
My angels are teasing P'Din about flowers, who's telling them all to shush, he didn't say any such thing. P'Sing is putting things on P'New's plate, who's blushing as his friends aww.
P'Yut is eating in depression, he's the only one alone, he hugs Monty and cries, who joins him. Everyone's laughing.
As P'Lee walks past Himi's table, someone stops him.
"Lee? It really is you." A woman says, getting up and hugging him.
Two men stand, and shake hands with him, P'Lee seems a little reserved, as he greets them, saying it's been a long time. They ask P'Lee to join them. The woman next to Himi, grabs his arm, frowning at P'Lee.
"I'm sure you remember me." She says smiling, but I don't like her tone.
"Who the hell is she?" My gangs leaning towards me.
"Clinging like that, I'm guessing his wife." Ming whispers.
"I have words for her." P'Yut fumes.
"Of course, you look well." P'Lee returns.
She says something I don't catch, my gang and the team inhale sharply, completely pissed off, what did she say?
The tables gone quiet, Himi and his friends are looking at the woman shocked. P'Din gets up and walks over, taking P'Lee's arm.
"I saved you a seat p." He smiles.
P'Lee looks at him surprised, but smiles. "Thanks."
"I wouldn't do that." The wife says. "You don't know what he is."
"My boyfriend." P'Din replies calmly. "He will sit over there, with me. Where my friends also know what he is."
Himi and his friends look angrily at the wife, as P'Lee comes to sit with us. P'Sing just pats his friend on the back, who's shaking his head. I guess they have their own codes, being together so long.
The rest of lunch is a happy, laughing affair, as we all joke and tease each other. As we eat, a guy comes and hands two small usb too P'Lee, who thanks him.
"What's that p?" Monty's asking.
"Illicit content?"
"It better not be porn p, you have a boyfriend now." The teams laughing.
"Its pictures and videos of the event." P'Sing smiles.
"You had someone do that?" Elephant asks.
"Of course, New looked really good." P'Sing smiles, kissing P'New's temple, who blushes.
"And you were all annoyed this morning p, people would see too much."
"Yeh Din, can't you cover up more?" P'Lee asks.
"Another possessive one?" P'Yut shouts. "Aww, when is it my turn?"
He and Monty hug and cry again, at the unfairness of the universe. I happen to look over at the table as we get ready to leave, Himi and his friends are watching P'Lee, they look remorseful.
We were going to stay and see the event tomorrow, but Ming and I decided to head back today. P'Pha was upset about the bike ride, it was 10 minutes, but I don't want him upset, and I want to see him.
We drop off P'Bee at the train station, she is going to visit her parents with Bas. She laughs when I worry, telling me women have been traveling with kids, for hundreds of years, she hugs us both as we wave to her and she heads in. She calls us mothering hens, when both Ming and I tell her to call us, when she arrives, so we know she is safe.
I try calling P'Pha, they should be getting out of class soon, but his phone is off, it might have run late. It was with professor aunty, and she didn't let you go until she was done.
But Ming and I both begin to worry, as we get closer to home, they really should be done now, but P'Pha and P'Kit's phones are still off. We left messages, but they didn't call, so they didn't even turn them on yet. I call P'Forth, but he didn't know if they had any plans, he tries calling P'Beam, but his phones off as well.
We leave my things in my room, but no one is here, and P'Pha isn't in his, we check Ming's and P'Kit's, nothing. We knock on P'Beam's but no one is in. We pick up P'Forth from his faculty, as we head to the medical department.
Hardly anyone is here, but I see Suttee when we look in the library.
"I think professor aunty was taking them to some faculty thing." Suttee tells us when I ask.
"Do you know where?" P'Forth's asking.
"Sorry p, I just saw them go."
We thank him, but as I look around I see a senior I recognize, he's in P'Pha's class. I walk over and greet him, he's the one who broke up with his girlfriend.
He tells us the name of the restaurant, professor aunty didn't give them a choice, she took them straight after class. Something about future doctors meeting, a good way to make connections.
We end up at the restaurant parking lot, sitting in Ming's car, deciding what to do.
"They will get mad". P'Forth tells us.
"I want to see P'Kit!" Ming whines.
"I'm just worried, P'Forth." I tell him. "I just want to see he's okay, and we can leave."
"I'm not leaving!" Ming tells us. "I'm stalking him till he's done, then I'm taking him home."
I sigh, this idiot, he's getting worse then me. I look at P'Forth, he seems a little hesitant, I guess he's worried P'Beam will be mad at him.
We slowly make our way into the restaurant, we look around, it doesn't take long for us to find them. We ask to be seated at a free table close by, near the corner, we can see them from here.
Its professor aunty, our doctors, another older guy and three girls, who look like students, seated around a table, talking.
"Is this a meeting, or a dam date set up." Ming snaps looking.
P'Forth and I shush him, we can hear the conversation from here.
The other guy is a professor, they are talking about projects and things coming next year. The girls are definitely interested in the doctors, they are giving them covert smiles and signals.
"That girl bats her eyes at my KitKat one more time, I'm shaving her head." Ming fumes.
We shush him again, the waiter is giving us strange looks, we order drinks so he leaves.
The doctors are being polite, smiling and talking, nothing wrong about it, but I feel jealous, I can't help it, that girl is sending signals. I know he will have meetings, and meet a lot of people, I know, I shouldn't let this bother me.
"Maybe we should go..." I start to say.
"Are you boys married?" The guy asks them.
"No, they have to study, time for that later." Professor aunty answers.
"I was married in my first year." The guy sighs. "Different times back then."
"Engaged?" One of the girls asks.
"Mind your own business." P'Forth's annoyed, she asked P'Beam.
Our doctors smile and say no, then they ask if they are dating anyone.
"They dam well are." Ming's smirking.
But the reply that comes from the illegal doctor's gang, isn't what we expected. All three of them smile and say, they have been to busy to really have time. Why?
"P'Kit didn't say anything." Ming sound's hurt.
"Beam, usually doesn't anyway." P'Forth sighs.
P'Pha didn't tell them. He didn't have to say it was me but, he just smiled and said no. He must have a reason, but it still hurts.
