"Valencia." David called my name as I stood there staring Ava down.
I cocked my fist back and punched her with all my strength. Dave caught her before she could fall but I grabbed that dry ass weave of hers and threw her to the ground.
"You thought I didn't know bitch!" I sent blow after blow to her face as she kicked and swung wildly.
One of her punches connected with my bottom lip and the taste of blood filled my mouth.
"Four years!" I didn't care about my lip, I just kept going. At this point tears were running down my face. Because of her I missed out on precious things of my son's life.
"David do something!" I heard his mother yell.
His arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled me off of her. I wiggled wildly in his grip, elbowing him in the stomach making him release me. Ava was in the midst of getting up and I punched her again, sending her flying back to the ground.
I swung my foot and kicked her over and over again until David grabbed me again.
"Man David control your bitch!" His cousin that was staring me down yelled as he helped Ava up.
"Bitch? Nigga do you want some too! This bitch is the reason I was in a coma for four years! I missed my son's first steps, first words and his first birthday!"
"It wasn't just me. Maybe you should check that bitch's face you was too busy riding, Saadia."
I elbowed David once again and ran to Ava who was being helped inside the house. I yanked on her hair, flinging her to the ground.
"You can't fight back now? Show me that same energy from four years ago!" I sent another powerful kick to her stomach and this time she coughed up blood.
"That's enough!" David picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
"Put me down, I'm not finished with that bitch yet! Bet you thought I was dead, huh!" I shouted as I was carried from the backyard to the car.
He put me down and I tried to move around him, but he blocked my path, "Chill the fuck out, yo! What is your problem? You think this shit is cute? You just embarrassed me in front of my family!"
"Fuck your family! Your mother is disrespectful and your so called cousin almost killed me!" I yanked the car door open and got it, slamming it behind me. "Take me home."
He shook his head and got in the car. I pulled the mirror down to look at my face.
"That bitch busted my lip." I said to myself, examining the few scratches on my face.
"You shouldn't have did that." David glanced over at me before fixating his eyes back on the road.
"David, please do me a favor and shut the fuck up."
"Watch who you're talking to." He warned.
"Or what?" I raised an eyebrow, looking over at him. "You don't have any children so you don't know how I feel. So with that being said, shut the fuck up David!"
"Who are you yelling at! Valencia I'm not some bitch on the street, talk to me like you have some fucking sense!"
"Stop the car!" I demanded and he did just that. I got out the car, slamming the door again.
"So you want to do this?" He asked as I pulled out my phone.

"Valencia." David spoke again.
My eyes rolled, "Leave me alone David."
"...Fine." He drove off, which stunned me a little. I just shrugged and patiently waited for Sebastian.
Moments later he pulled up and I got in. His hand reached over and grabbed my face.
"What the hell happened to your face?"
"I'll explain it later." I pushed his hand away.
"No, you're gonna explain this shit now."
"Sebastian-"
"Matter of fact, where this nigga live?" He pulled off down the street, his jaw clenching and his hand holding tightly on the steering wheel. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't turned on.
"It wasn't him, Bash. I promise."
"Then who did that to your face, Valencia?"
"Ava, but that's nothing compared to what I did to her." I told him, picking at my nails.
"Ava?"
"Can you take me to Saadia's house?" I asked and he looked at me like I was crazy.
"For fucking what?" He raised his voice making me roll my eyes.
"Sebastian, please just take me."
He sucked his teeth, "Where is it?"
I gave him the directions and when we arrived I got happy on the inside when I seen her car sitting in the driveway. Happy to beat her ass.
"Why am I at this bitch's house?" Sebastian put the car in park and looked over at me.
"I said I'll explain later." I said as I got out the car and went up to hers. My fingers grazed against the cherry red 2017 Tesla.
She lived in those fancy houses that were secluded and up on a hill somewhere. So I took her not having close by neighbors to my full advantage.
I pulled out my key and began to drag against the once spotless car. When I got tired of that, I raised my foot and kicked the driver's window making it shatter, cuing the alarm.
Saadia ran out the house and turned off the alarm, "What the hell, Valencia!"
She got closer to me and I backhanded her. Saadia isn't a punk so like I expected, she fought back. I punched her in the jaw and she fell. Her hand wrapped around my ankle and she pulled me to the ground with her.
Taking the opportunity, she got on top of me using all her weight and punched me in the nose. Her fist came down again, but I moved my head so it came in contact with the grass. I managed to push her off of me and connected my right hand with her face.
She began to claw at my face but that didn't faze me, I was still getting my hits in. Arms wrapped around me and of course it was Sebastian.
"Valencia, the hell? You can't be over here fucking up Teslas. You and I both know we can't afford to fix that shit." He said caring more about the car than Saadia.
"She had something to do with me being in a coma for four years! Let me go Sebastian!"
He didn't even protest or try to hold me, he just let me go and leaned on the car.
"I didn't mean for it to happen like tha-" I punched the bitch in her nose just like she did me making her head fly back.
"I ain't here to talk so own up to your shit and fight me like a woman."
I ran up to her and threw punches like she was a nigga off the street. I'll admit, she was putting up a good fight. I grabbed her hair and flung her to the ground, pouncing on her.
"I should've left your ass in the past like I intended to." I spat, punching her repeatedly until Sebastian pulled me off her again.
"I think she had enough, Val. Calm down." He whispered in my ear soothingly before letting me go.
I towered over her, not really caring about her pitiful sobs. Forming all the saliva I could in my mouth, I spit on her.
"And that's how I feel."

"Ouch...ouch...ouch nigga, damn!" I pushed Sebastian's hand.
"Shut up and take it how you take this dick." He smirked, dabbing more alcohol on some of the deep scratches Saadia left on my face.
"Last time we had sex, I was maybe two months pregnant. I don't even remember what it feels like so..." I shot him down real quick and he sucked his teeth.
"If you say so. I'm done." He helped me off the bathroom sink and I went straight to his bed.
I sat there thinking about this long ass day I just had. The more I dwelled on it, the more I felt the need to cry.
"What's wrong?" Sebastian asked, wiping the stray tear that had fell from my eye.
"You were right."
His eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "About what?"
"About Saadia. That was the first girl I ever loved and her being back in my life made me kind of happy. It was like I had got her back, but at the same time I couldn't love her the same way again because I had feelings for you. I still do..." I looked up at him seeing pure shock written all over his face.
"As in feelings you mean-"
"I love you."
"You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to say that."
"But...I really like Dave." I said feeling his whole demeanor change.
"Fuck him!" He shouted making me jump. A bitter chuckle escaped his lips. "You know what? Do what you want to so."
"Bash-"
"Don't talk to me right now Valencia." He walked out of the room, slamming the door. I sighed, falling back onto the bed.
I can't ever have one simple moment in my life.
