HORRAY, WE HIT 1K!! I'M SO HAPPY! Thanks for the support guys. Okay, so from this chapter on, things are gonna get a little crazy and weird, but its all going to lead up to something very terrifying and powerful! The clock at this point is obtaining dominance over everyone, and has pretty much began to expand its power towards everyone, even Whiteclaw. For the first time you'll see its luring power and voice, as Whiteclaw becomes its next victim

Selfish, the clock's voice hummed in my ears, selfish lost little Deinonychus. I gripped my lost jaw, which still hung like a leaf, and was beyond nonfunctional now.

I couldn't even speak.

I even feared that I wouldn't be able to speak ever again...

Believing you were better than your brother Blackclaw, the clock continued in my thoughts, selfish aren't you? But none the matter, I controlled all of you. I knew this would happen. Because you' were afraid of Drexel's truth...

I lost my own voice a few hours ago before I fell asleep. Stella and Shadow had nothing to say to me. They couldn't help me either, just sat there, watching me sob and strangle myself to get fixed. Before my words ceased to be, I told Amberclaw what had happened to our overturned brother.

I've never seen Amberclaw so angry, so pissed, so much like an actual brother. So normal-like.

I wished to be normal.

But I couldn't be normal.

Nothing was normal anymore, nothing will ever be normal! I attacked Drexel with the same rage as he did to my parents! I acted as though I was better than Blackclaw! I never forgave any of them because I was the true villain!

Not the clock.

Me.

Everything that happens from this moment on...happens for a reason. But you can't figure it out. You can't solve the puzzle that all those critters years ago couldn't solve. You won't get out of the Cretaceous alive, and I know it. Time and Death are catching up to all of you. And everything that you'll ever care about-

"shackk...kak..." I tried to click.

I was trying to shut it up.

But my voice...

My voice....my voice....my voice...

My brothers....my friend...

It's all my fault...

Everything's my fault. I killed my two best friends.

You can't get me out of your head, The clock hissed, You know, I'll always be there. Because your anger let me in.

"Stckkk..." I croaked, then thought out my word, Stop...

You're already going to die Whiteclaw, The clock smiled in my head in the red numbers, You broke your jaw. I've seen dinosaurs break their jaws before. And they die quickly because they're weak and useless. They starve struggling to take a bite into their fresh-caught meat-

Shut up! I growled in my mind, Stop turning me into one of your puppets! You're just saying stupid crap in my head to lure me into a death trap. I doubt you're even telling the truth.

Oh, but I am, The Clock hissed, I know the whole truth. I know how you turned on your friends, just to let them....kill.....one another. I know you wanted to kill Blackclaw instead of Shadow. I could feel it in your eyes. You were so angered by your parents' death, you turned on the Utahraptor just as revenge.

That was you. I shifted my body to the side through the conversation lowering my head in the darkness, you took over me.

No, the clock disagreed, that was your anger doing the work. I just channeled it to make it part of you. You acted too selfish and powerful over your brothers, that you killed two of them already. And besides, you still have one on the way if you don't mind-

Leave Amberclaw out of this, he's my friend! I thought with a growl.

Weren't Drexel and Blackclaw your friends too? The clock muttered. I lowered my head to the floor, seeing my dangling lower jaw hit first, then slide ahead. My friends....they were my friends.

But they're dead.

The conversation laid quiet for a few minutes before I finally decided to take the clock's voice as a talkative partner.

Hey, clock.

Nothing.

Clock?

Yes?

I swallowed with a strain of blood trickling down my esophagus before I spoke.

Is survival even possible? There was an awkward silence before the ringing noise in my silent ears came along. But even after that, its voice did respond back.

That is for you to figure out... Then its voice trailed off before continuing, But let me warn you slightly Deinonychus. Sure the end has happened, and it is consuming your race's entirety, but the end is actually the beginning. More new things are coming to hunt you and your friends down. And eventually, when the clock stops counting, there would be nothing left to account for.

More?

Do you not see the clear signs? it uttered, and in its voice, I could hear its strange unwillingness to offer up advice, the world shows its plan before its next demise. For the asteroid, you saw a bright light in the sky. Before your starvations, you saw the plants and life die out. Even with the acidic storm, you saw the clouds roll in on the horizon. Surely you've started to see the signs of your death.

How do I even know they're signs? I wondered.

They happen all the time Whiteclaw, it assured, all the time. Every second, every minute, every hour. Each speck of time is an event that showcases its power. But it's up to you to figure out this power.

How do I even know? I felt complicated worry-like symptoms spread across my face, How do I know? Where do I go, what do I do? What's gonna happen? There was silence for a few seconds before a deep thunderous voice whispered in my ear.

Touch the clock.

My heart skipped a beat when the three words calibrated in my brain, and its after-effect made me shiver and shake my head. I recalled the memories of those who touched the clock. And they've never been the same.

No...I shook my head, No, no, no, I'm not doing that. I've seen what happens when my friends touched it, I know your charms work and what you're going to do! And I'm no longer falling for your tricks!

It's not trickery, it responded, you're just afraid of what may happen to you when you find out the truth.

There is no truth! I screeched silently, There is no escape! Nothing is true!

My words have only been the truth only Deinonychus, The clock responded, I wouldn't lie unless I have to.

Then why? I felt tears spring up again, why do you continue to talk to me...

Because you're lost in your own body, it said, and you've lost your way because of your opinions. I know what you are. And I know what you reject inside. I could feel it boil inside you, even now.

How can I trust you? I thought hard, sending an image of my friends laying on the ground, looking dead, you almost killed my friends. And you turned us against each other.

Maybe that's what must be done. But your friends, they touched it to find the truth. And yes, they surely receive it.

They changed so much. Shadow doesn't talk anymore. I rarely see Amberclaw. And Blackclaw died because of your channeling of his anger. What is going to happen to me then?!

Just trust me, it hissed, I'm the one who could show you your path, and your past. I'm the only one who knows your soul more than you know yourself. Just touch the clock. And everything will be crystal clear. Just touch it...

Suddenly, I found myself outside the cave, facing the clock. My feet felt like liquid slosh as I stumbled around, limping and wincing as I made my way towards the cave. But the truth was that I didn't really want to go towards the cave. I didn't want to listen. But how will I know the truth? Or even my own destiny?

Minutes later, I found myself staring up at its golden glow, shining brighter than the moon and stars combined, shimmering like the ocean waves that flow back and forth through the tides. My breathing was quickening when a static flow tickled my toes and trembled my claws.

Okay.....okay...

Just touch it... The clock muttered with an evil grin. Part of me still rejected the idea of finding the truth, but still, I had a sense of growing fear, that if I didn't, nothing would change. Nothing would make sense. I needed to know about this clock. About their deaths. About everything that happened from the impact. With a sigh, I lifted my claw up shakily, then moved it forwards slowly, swallowing and gulping hard.

Toooouuccchhh......iitttt.....

At one point, I felt my hand suddenly lose its feeling, and began to move on its own. I wasn't in control anymore! I heard some ground shaking stomps behind me, then spun around quickly with fear, seeing a terrified T-Rex rush over to me in desperate cries and roars.

"WHITECLAW NO!"

But alas my claw had already touched the cold, dusted surface.

And all hell broke loose.

At first, I felt like I got struck by lightning. Then came a powerful explosion of pain that ripped clean through my organs and flesh. I let out a scream of pain, struggling to take off my claw. But it was stuck there like sap, unable to move. Shadow let out a roar, but I didn't hear it. Like everything around me got silenced by an ongoing ringing. At the last second, I felt fire burst through the clock upon me. My body got hurled backward, as well as Shadows, but before I could hit the ground, I blacked out cold.

And everything went dead silent.
