Tessa's P.O.V:
I keep frozen in my spot as Marshall and I hold eachother gaze. My eyes shift away from him and onto Karla when I see her pass her bouquet to my cousin Bonnie. Just when she's about to take a step foward and come towards me, Leroy quickly stands up and put up his hand.
I watch Leroy in confusion as he buttons his jacket and clears his throat before he smiles at everyone. Leroy looks away from everyone and starts to make his way towards me. I see him clench his jaw and fist lightly as he walks towards me.
Leroy stops right infront of me and grabs a hold of my wrist, making Andrew take a step foward. Leroy clears his throat and lowers down before he whispers in my ear, making sure Andrew doesn't hear.
"I thought by now you would have learnt your lesson." He whispers out in anger. "You get down the aisle before I do something that will make you regret this!" He adds.
Leroy moves back and clears his throat as he straightens up. He smiles at me before he places his hand on my shoulder, trying to act as if what he just did didn't happen.
"I'm proud of you, Tessa." He says loudly. "And I understand if you don't want to this...If you're not ready. I understand if you walk away, my child. I'm sure Marshall will too." He adds. Leroy wraps his arms around me and hugs me. "Get down that damn aisle." He hisses before he takes a step back, smiles at me and then walks back to his seat, leaving me stunned.
What the hell just happened...
Never during my entire career did Leroy ever talk to me or threaten me in such a cruel way. What the hell is he going to do if I walk back down the aisle and not get married.
I get snapped out of my thoughts when Andrew clears his throat. Leroy sits down and whispers something to Paul, making him nod before he relaxes a little and leans back into his seat. I look away from our managers and at all the guest who are talking in hushed tones as they stare at me.
"Tessa. Marshall is waiting." Andrew whispers to me. "You wanna take a break? Or do you want to jus-" He adds but stops talking when my feet immediately start moving. The music plays again as we start to walk towards Marshall.
"You sure you don't want a quick five minute break?" Andrew whispers, making me shake my head as we carry on walking.
My heart starts to beat faster and faster as I stop a few feet away from Marshall. Andrew kisses my cheek before he shakes hands with Marshall and places my hand in his.
Marshall nods slowly as he wraps his fingers around my hand and gives me a sad tight lip smile. We both turn to the man standing in front of us and wait for him to start the ceremony.
"Dearly beloved, we have come together in the presence of God to witness and bless the joining together of this man and this woman in Holy Matrimony..." The mans words slowly drift away and my mind goes into its own world.
~ Flashback ~
I take the brown leather book from Marshall's closet before I walk back out towards his bedroom and hold the book up. Marshall looks up from his notebook and glances at the book before he sighs.
"I'm guessing this is something you're embarrassed about?" I laugh softly as I open the book and smile at baby Marshall. "You were so cute!" I say, making him roll his eyes. Marshall gestures for me to come towards him as he takes off his glasses and places his notebook by the lamp.
"Let me see." He says as I walk towards him and stop at the end of the bed.
"Promise me you won't take it off me." I point at him with the heavy book.
"I'm not promising you anything." He laughs slightly as he sits up before he climbs out of the bed, making me take a step back.
"Then i'm not coming." I shrug and open the book. Before I can react to the second picture of Marshall sitting in the bath tub naked when he was a baby, I feel Marshall quickly wrap his arms around me, making me scream before I let out a laugh.
"Well then...I have to drag you won't I?" He says as I laugh. Marshall picks me up and throws me over his shoulder as we both laugh before he throws me down on the bed and climbs over me.
"Okay, how am I supposed to look at these pictures with you on top of me." I say as Marshall kisses me on my neck.
"That's the whole point. You won't get to see them." He says, making me roll my eyes.
"I will publish these to the media if you don't let me see this." I joke, making him let out a small chuckle.
"Are you threatening me?" He raises his brow.
"Yeah. What are you going to do about it?" I joke. "Now move off me so I can look through this." I say as Marshall rolls off me. He lets me cuddle against him with half of his body now underneath me. "Oh my god, you were so cute-" I point at the picture before Marshall quickly cuts in.
"Okay, if we're gonna look through this then you can't say shit like that." He says quickly, making me laugh.
"Why? Is Marshall washall embarrassed." I talk as if i'm talking to a baby as I pinch his cheeks. Marshall pushes me off him, making me fall down on the floor. "Ow. You asshole." I laugh before I sit up and rub my arse.
"That's what you deserve." He says as I get up from the floor and climb back onto the bed.
"You pushed me so hard." I mumble as I crawl towards him before I lay half on him and half on the bed.
"Well next time it's gonna be harder." He says as he wraps his arm around me and kisses me lightly on the corner of my mouth.
"Mhmm, we'll see." I mumble with my cheek still pressed against his cheek.
"We will." He says under his breath before he kisses me again.
"Who's that." I say as I point at the kid next to Marshall.
"My uncle Ronnie." He tells me, making me nod. I quickly flip the page since I know he gets upset about his uncle Ronnie.
"Okay, can I keep a picture of this?" I say as I reach for my phone. Marshall doesn't say anything as I snap a picture of baby Marshall before I flip the page.
"That was on my fourth birthday." He tells me as he points at himself.
So cute!
For the next half and hour we look through the old pictures of Marshall and his family as Marshall tells me the story behind each picture. We stop onto an old picture of Marshall and Kim on their wedding.
"What was she like in the beginning?'" I ask Marshall as we both just stare at the picture. Kim looks beautiful in it.
"She was....Amazing." He says and lets out a long sigh.
"Tell me about her." I say when he goes quiet.
"About Kim?" Marshall says in suprise as I look back at him. I nod and watch him as he throws his bead back and leans further down on the bed so his head is resting on the pillow. "She...Was the most amazing person I ever met when I was younger." He tells me. I smile lightly as I place my hand on his chest before I rest my chin on my hand and look up at him.
"What happened between you too?" I ask, making him shrug as he keeps his eyes fixed on the light.
"Life happened, I guess." He mumbles.
"Do you miss her?" I ask and watch him laugh before he looks down at me.
"Sometimes, yeah. I do." He shrugs. "But I miss the old her." He adds. "The loving and kind her." He says.
It goes quiet again and this time I don't bother saying anything to Marshall as he stares at the light with a small smile spread across his lips.
"If she makes you happy then why not give it another shot?" I ask.
"At a relationship?" He says in confusion.
"No. A friendship." I tut and hear him laugh.
"No. We'll only end up fighting." He says. "Plus you two will only start fighting again and rumors will spread about me cheating on you with Kim." He says as he chuckles.
"Mhmm. They better not." I say and watch him smile as he plays with my hair.
"What are you gonna do if Kim and I do get together-" He starts but I quickly cut him off.
"I will kill you and feed you to my dog." I say quickly, making Marshall tilt his head back slightly as he laughs.
"Even for you Tessa Black that is dark." He says before we both laugh lightly.
"You better not sneak around with any other girl." I say, making him stop laughing.
"You really think I would do that?" He says, making me shrug.
"With all the girl around you at these events and part-" I start and get cut off.
"I would never do that to you, Tess." Marshall shakes his head. "I know how it feels to get hurt. We both do and I never want to put you through that pain again. I will never hurt you." He adds.
"You really mean that?" I ask and watch him as he sighs.
"Course I do." He says. "I love you, Tess. I would never do anything to hurt you baby." He says, making me smile lightly as we both lean towards eachother and kiss.
"I...Love...You too." I say in between kisses. Marshall tucks my hair behind my ear as he cups my face and smiles at me.
"I plan on marrying you, you know that?" He says, making my smile widen.
I promsied myself that I wouldn't get married again after my divorce with Marcus but Marshall has changed my mind about that when I first fell in love with him.
"Oh yeah?" I say as I glance down at his lips and then back at him.
"Yeah." He nods. "I plan on getting married...Having more kids with you and growing old with you." He says, making me smile wider as my heart beats faster against my chest. "I love you, Tessa Black." He half whispers as he strokes my cheek lightly.
"Marshall Mathers." I whisper. "You have gone soft." I say softly. Marshall quickly looks away from my lips and at me.
"Fuck you." He says as he pushes me off the bed once again. I stand up from the floor as I laugh before I quickly climb on top of him. Marshall refuses to look at me as I wrap my arms around his neck and laugh lightly with my face pressed against his.
"It was a joke." I state as I cup his face and make him look at me. "What you just said...I was waiting for you to say for what felt forever." I say softly. "I love you Marshall and I can't wait to marry you one day." I add and watch him smile wide before he leans up and kisses me.
~ End Of Contract ~
"If any of you can show why they may not be lawfully wed, speak now, or else forever hold your peace." The man says, making me snap out of my thoughts.
It goes silent for a couple of seconds and from the corner of my eyes, I see Chris take a step foward before Jacob quickly clears his throat. What the hell is going? Was Chris just about to stop the wedding? Just when i'm about the speak, the man carries on with the ceremony.
I squeeze my eyes shut as I close my eyes and tighten my grip around Marshall's hand, making him look down at our hands. He clears his throat and looks away again.
There's something wrong. I can feel it. They're hiding something from me. Karla always wanted me to get married to Marshall and now she looks like she's been shot at.
Karla's not the only one that's acting odd. Jacob and Chris are acting as if they have something they want to tell everyone but can't. They're acting really weird and nervous at the same time.
Do they know about the contract?
No. They couldn't possibly know about the contract. How could they find out? Karla would never tell Chris and Jacob? He doesn't know the same people that I know...
Wait, Nick!
Nick is his bestfriend but just like Karla I know he wouldn't tell my brother. What if it slipped out of his mouth? Fuck. What if Nick told Jacob everything but then why isn't Jacob stopping this or telling anyone? Well, he probably told Chris, one of his close friends.
"I, Marshall Mathers, take you Tessa to be my wife, to have and to hold..." Marshall stops and listens to the man as his bright blue eyes scan my light grey ones. "From this day foward, for better or for worse..." I watch him as he stops again. My heart aches a little when I see him blink away tears. He clears his throat before he carries on. "For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health to love and to cherish; from this day foward until..." Marshall stops for a brief second before he lets out a small sigh. "Until death do us part." He finishes.
My eyes fill up with tears as I look away from him and blink the tears away quickly. All I wanted was to marry Marshall but right now, i'm not ready for this. I don't want to do this.
"Tessa." I look away from floor and at Nick. Marshall clears his throat, making me look at him and then the man who's standing infront of us.
"Tessa. Repeat after me." The man says. "I, Tessa Black, take you Marshall Mathers to be my husband." He says. I swallow the lump in my throat and pull myself together.
"I, Tessa Black, take you Marshall Mathers to be my husband." I say and wait for him to carry on. The man says the next words and waits for me to repeat them. "To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health." My voice cracks, making me look away from Marshall.
Pull yourself together Tessa!
"To love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part." The man says. He waits for a few seconds as tears run down my cheek.
"To love and to cherish." I say through tears, my voice comes out shaky. "....From this day foward until death do us apart." I say. Those words break me and a shaky sob escapes my lips as I let go of Marshall hand and fan at my eyes. Karla steps foward and wipe at my eyes quickly.
"You got this." Karla whispers, making me nod as she takes a step back again.
"The rings please." The man says. Proof takes out the ring from his jacket before he takes a step foward and hands it to Marshall. "Groom, repeat after me as you place the ring on your brides finger." The man says as Marshall holds my left hand. "This ring I give you..." The man finishes after a couple of seconds before Marshall repeats every single word as he holds my gaze without looking away from me once.
"This ring I give you in token of my love and devotion, and with my heart, I pledge to you all that I am. With this ring, I marry you and join my life to yours." Marshall says without looking away from me. I feel him slide the heavy ring down my finger before Karla hands me Marshall's ring.
"Tessa. Repeat after me." The man clears his throat before he says the same vows as I hold Marshall's left hand in mine.
"This ring I give you in token of my love and devotion." I pause for a second as I stare at his hand before I look up at him. I clear my throat and pull myself together before I repeat his words. "And with my heart, I pledge to you all that I am. With this ring, I marry you and join my life to yours." I say as I slide the ring down his fingers.
"Tessa and Marshall, you have heard the words about love and marriage, have exchanged your vows and made your promises, and celebrated your union with the giving and receiving of rings. It is at this time that I now pronounce you husband and wife. Today, your kiss is a promise. Marshall, you may now kiss your bride!" The man says before he takes a step back.
Marshall and I look away from the man and at eachother. Marshall takes the first step foward before he places his hand on my hip and leans down and claims my lips.
My lips quickly follow his action and I kiss him back. I place my hand on Marshall cheeks and kiss him back like I have never kissed him before. Everyone around us stands up and cheer. Marshall moves back to breathe as he nods at me. I place my forhead against him.
"I love you, Marshall." I whisper.
"I lov-" He starts and quickly stops. "What did you just say to me?" He asks, making me smile.
"I said I love you now say it back." I say as I throw my arms around his neck.
So what if our mangers see? We're supposed to act like a couple.
"You...Tessa...Do you..." Marshall slowly trails off when he can't seem to find his words.
"I remember." I nod and smile. "I remember everything." I sniff as tears flush my eyes again.
"How c-" He starts, making me cut in quickly.
"The attack....Memory loss...Being live on tv...Everything Marshall. I remember it all." I state.
"You...Oh my...You got your memory back?" He asks, making me laugh before I nod. Marshall doesn't spare another second before he places his lips back on mine and kisses me.
Marshall picks me up and spins me around as everyone cheers and claps. Marshall places me down and then places his forhead against mine before he kisses me.
"You didn't say it." I say and watch him laugh softly.
"I lov-" He starts and quickly stops.
"What's wrong?" I ask. Before Marshall can answer me, the bridesmaid and the groomsman crowd us as they congratulate us.
Marshall's smile quickly fades away as he walks towards D12 who all congratulate him. My eyes stay focused on him as my family and friends hug me.
Nick walks away from me and towards Marshall. I watch Marshall and him whispering to eachother before Marshall glances at me, only to quickly look away again.
He didn't say it....He didn't say it back to me...

Well damn, she finally remembers!
Okay so I wasn't going to update tonight since I have to get up early tomorrow and it was already 12:25am (Excuse any mistakes I have made, I was half asleep when I edited this) when I started to edit this but since it's dlurittao birthday and since you guys were really excited for another chapter, I decided to update!
I was actually going to be mean and change chapter 121. I wasn't going to let the wedding happen. This wasn't the original plan, the original plan was to cancel the wedding because of their mom Mrs Black but since there hasn't really been a happy chapter, I wanted to change it up a bit.
For my second idea, Tessa would have stopped in the middle of the aisle and ran away but that was a bit too dramatic lol! (I spend too much time watching Eastenders and Hollyoaks).
My third idea was that Chris was going to stop the wedding but changed his mind because he had a feeling that they actually love eachother. So then Jacob stands up and stops the wedding! Dramatic, I know! 😂😂
