Gervonta pov
I pulled up to Floyd's house one mintue to nine. I parked my car, got out, and walked up to the front door. I knocked and waited for the door to open.
"Wassup G, what brings you here?" Floyd asked opening the door
"I am taking Jasmine out on a date tonight." I said
"Is that right?" He raised an eyebrow
"Yes." I said feeling nervous all of a sudden, like I mean it feels like I am meeting her dad for the first time
"Interesting, well come on in. I'll send Jirah to get her." He said letting me inside
I walked in and saw Zion and Koraun sitting on the couch playing 2k.
"Hey boys." I said
"Sup G." Koraun said
"Hey G." Zion said
They didn't even look away from the t.v.
"Jirah, tell Jasmine to come downstairs Gervonta waiting for her." Floyd told his youngest daughter who was in the kitchen on her phone
"Aye G, where y'all going?" Koraun asked
"On a date." I said
"Date?" He said standing up
"Yeah." I said
"Pause the game... I don't care pause it... Move out my way." I heaed him tell Zion before he walked in front of my face
"Where y'all going?" Koraun asked
"Yeah where y'all going?" Floyd asked stepping in front of me as well
"To eat at her favorite restaurant." I stated
"And then where?" Ziom asked
When the hell did he get over here?
"That's up to her." I said
"I want her back before midnight." Floyd said
"Yes sir." I said
They all narrowed there eyes at me. I began to feel very small under their stare.
"Aye stop grilling him and move so he can see Jasmine make her entrance." I heard Iyanna say as she walked down the giant staircase
I sent her a silent thank you and she smiled back. A few second later Jasmine walked down the stairs.
"Wow." Was the only word I could form
Her hair wasn't in it's curly state, she had a bit of makeup but not too much, and her dress. That dress hugged her body in all the right places, I just wanted to rip it off.
"Hi." She smiled widely as she walked in front of me
"Wow." I repeated taking her left hand in my right
"Good wow or ew wow?" She chuckled nervously
"Wow as in you look outstanding." I said looking her up and down
"Well in that case, thank you." She blushed
"So that's what you are wearing?" Iyanna said
"Yeah," I said looking down at myself "what's wrong with what I got on?" (His fit up top)
"I mean you could have went without the jays," she said looking me up and down "go on now, y'all only got until midnight."
Jasmine grabbed her purse and lead the way to the door. Once we were outside I crashed my lips on hers taking her by surprise. I pulled away and rested my forehead on hers.
"I been waiting to do that." I said
"I been waiting for you to do that." She smiled
I smiled and pecked her lips on more time before opening the passenger side door for her. Once she was inside, I shut the door and jogged over to the other side. I got in the car and started it up.
"Gervonta look at me." Jasmine said
I turned and faced her. She dug in her purse and grabbed a napkin. She licked it and began to wipe my mouth off.
"You had my lipstick on you." She chuckled
"Oh thanks." I chuckled putting the car in drive
"And if it helps I think you look great." She said placing her hand on my shoulder
"Thank you baby." I said turning my head slightly wo i kiss her hand

At Friday's
"Hi welcome to Friday's what can i get you to drink handsome." The waitress asked
"I'll take a coke." I said not giving her the time of day
"And you?" She asked Jasmind dryly
"I'll take a water with light ice." Jasmine said
"K, I'll be right back." She said winking at me
I scrunched my face up at her. Why she hitting on me like I ain't here with my woman. Who does that? And why ain't Jasmine say anything?
"So beautiful, tell me what you think I should know about you." I smiled taking in all her beauty
"Well uh, I'm 19 years young. I am a Capricorn, if you are into astrology like I am." She started
"You into astrology? Like horoscopes and stuff?" I asked couriosly
"Yeah, it is an interest of mines. Growing up my mom used to hate that I was into it. She said that is was sinful. How? I don't know." She shrugged
"Your mom is religious?" I asked
She nodded her head yes
"And your dad?"
"He is a con artist, a theif." She said
"What do you mean?" I asked couriosly
"Earlier this year he sto- here you go sexy." The waitress interrupted Jasmine and placed my soda in front of me bending over to show me her flat ass chest
I cringed and grabbed my soda.
"Here." She said slamming Jasmine's glass down
"I asked for light ice." Jasmine said
I looked at her cup and saw it was filled with ice.
"Oops," the woman shrugged "so you ready to order champ." She said biting her lip looking at me
I gave her a stank face and look at Jasmine who was looking down at her lap.
"Baby you ready to order?" I asked
"Oh y-yeah." She said grabbing her menu
"Okay get whatever you want." I said as I looked through the menu
"Uh well whenever I come here I get the 2 for $20, we can do that if that is fine with you." She said
"Is that what you want?" I asked her
I have noticed,in the little time I have known her, Jasmine always wants to make sure whoever she is with is satisfied before herself. She always puts what Koraun and Floyd thinks before what she thinks for herself.
"Yeah."
"Okay then what we sharing?" I said
She opened her mouth and I quickly butted in
"And don't say it's up to me cause I am the one taking you out. It is what you want." I said
"Okay then," she chuckled "and the pretzels."
I looked at the waitress and she nodded her head writing that down.
"And your entree?" The waitress asked looking at me, ignoring Jasmine
"I will talk the half rack of bbq ribs." I said
She wrote that down and kept looking at me.
"Aren't you going to ask my girl what she wants or am I going to need a new server?" I asked getting pissed off that she ignoring the beautiful girl in front of me
"Right," she said turning to Jasmine "watcha want?" She rolled her eyes
"Uh I will take- hold up." I interrupt Jasmine
"What's the problem?" Jasmine asked me looking all cute and innocent
"I don't like how she asked you what you want to order." I said
"Gervonta it's okay." Jasmine said grabbing my hand
"No it's not, she disrespecting you and I don't like that shit." I said
Since we got here this waitress been hitting on me and Jasmine hasn't said a word, so I am taking matters into my own hands.
"I'm sorry sexy." the girl said
"How you gone say sorry and continue on doing it?" I asked baffled
The waitress looked down.
"Now apologize to my girl and take her order." I said taking a sip of my soda
"I am sorry miss, now what would you like?" She said forcefully
"I would like the Cajun shrimp & chicken pasta and a waitress who isn't thirsty." Jasmine said closing her menu and handed it to her "that will be all."
The girl grabbed my menu and marched on back to the kitchen. Jasmine sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. I grabbed her hand that was sitting in the table and intertwined our fingers. I stood up and leaned over the table to place a soft kiss on her lips.
"Thank you for that." She spoke lowly
"That was nothing. I'll do it anytime someone disrespects my girl." I said sitting back down
"My girl?" She asked
"My girl." I reassured her
She gave me a big toothy smile making me return one to her.
"So back to what we were talking about." I smiled
The rest of the night consisted of Jasmine sharing about where she grew up, me talking about where I grew up, me stealing her food, her getting angry I'm stealing her food, me taking pictures of Jasmine for her social media, me asking things about astrology, us sharing boxing stories, and a pissed off waitress.
"Thank you for coming to Friday's. Enjoy the rest of your night." The thirsty waitress, as Jasmine calls her, said
"And you enjoy the rest of your night too," Jasmine said standing up "you know I would have left you a tip but you were really rude and rudeness doesn't deserve a reward."
And with that Jasmine grabbed her purse and walked to the exit.
"Yeah what my lady said." I chuckled at her shocked expression
I walked out and saw Jasmine resting against the car.
"You're so beautiful." I said grabbing her by her waist
"And you damn sexy." She said wrapping her arms around her neck
"So we got three hours," i licked my lips "what you tryna do?"
"You."
I raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"Well let's get roll out then."
