"How is your day going?" Trent asked joining Mac in line for lunch. She didn't answer just kept staring at her empty plate. "Mac?"

"What?" Mac said in annoyed tone. She still wasn't wanting to deal with people yet. It didn't help that it was the full moon tonight. Her emotions heighten and completely out of control.

"You know we are here for you if you need us or ever want to talk," Trent said. He didn't mind that Mac was being a bitch, she was his sister after all.

"I know and I'm sorry for being me, but I am just.... life is just.... I'm just tired," Mac sighed sounding defeated. The lunch lady placed the pizza on her plate and Mac gave her a small smile.

"I'm sorry you are tired and I know life sucks," Trent said throwing his arm over her shoulder.

"You can say that again," Mac said leaning into him.

"You know that was the first time I've really seen you mad at us, normally you are so happy," Trent said placing a small kiss on her forehead, but Mac wasn't listening. Just staring blankly ahead.

"What's wrong?" Trent inquired looking at her mute expression.

"Kenzie it has been a while," Derrick said smiling at her. He slowly walked over to her, staring her up and down. Mac's hold on her tray tightening before she marched forward meeting him halfway.  "Sandy didn't tell me that you were here, imagine my surprise. I missed you." He went to touch her cheek but she flinched away. She was frozen with fear. From across the cafeteria, she thought she had the courage to stand up to him, but this close to him, after all, that time made her feel like she was back at the house.

"Who are you?"Trent asked in a warning tone.

"Nobody," Mac answered for him, but Trent could tell something was up.

"Really, am I nobody to you Kenzie? Did you forget about our magical months together?" He rested his hand on her hip, slightly pulling her sideways a closer to him.

A soon as she could feel the skin to skin contact it wasn't fear that consumed her anymore, but anger.

"What are you doing here Derrick?" Mac asked.

"Just dropping my sister off," Derrick replied, staring down at her chest.

Trent looked over at Mac only to see red flair up briefly in her eyes. Her fearful face morphed into anger.

"That's new," Trent said taking a step back.

Go Mac mind linked to him. He didn't hesitate with the look she was sending towards Derrick. He quickly wandered over to the pack who all paused to look over at Mac.

"I was so sad when I thought you died," Derrick whispered into her ear his hand lowering to her ass, "You look hotter than ever," he gave her ass a quick squeeze.

"Get away from her," Chloe said walking over to them. Collin a few steps behind.

"Don't worry, I'm fine Chloe," Mac said giving her a small forced smile. But Chloe and Collin could tell there was something off. It almost looked evil.

"See Kenzie is fine with me, now let's go have some fun," Derrick said squeezing her ass again.

Her lips twisted into a thin smile, she grabbed her pizza smashing it against his face. His hand dropped from her ass, busy trying to get the sauce out of his eyes.

"You bitch," He said backhanding her on the cheek. She wasn't expecting it, falling to the ground.

"Don't hit her," Collin said stepping in the way, but Mac couldn't help but use her powers and caused him to stumble over into Chloe's arms.

This is my fight, stand down. Mac said to her group, all of them watching her ready to fight. They briefly saw a flash of black in her eye. Before she stood to face Derrick. She half smiled, her foot stomping down on the side of the tray giving it enough force to land in her hand.

"Don't worry Collin, Derrick is mine," Mac said pulling down her sunglasses. She still carried them on the top of her head prepared for whenever she had to hide herself.

She brought it up fast, smashing it against Derrick's chin, he went flying into the nearest pillar, him landing with a plop on the ground.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing?" Sandy said coming up behind her. Mac was so busy focusing on hurting Derrick that she didn't even notice her in the cafeteria. Sandy lashed out, pulling at Mac's hair, Mac leaned over trying to ease the tension.

"Oh, Sandy I was hoping you would be here," Mac said, but it was sultry and her pack new Vamp was taking part of this fight.

Sandy pulled at her hair again and this time Mac spun around to face her. Sandy's breath hitched, Mac was Mackenzie, how could she not see it before.

"Missed me bitch?" Mac said she brought up her left arm hitting it against Sandy's arm that was holding her hair. She stumbled backed.

"Really you think you can take me?" Sandy said, she threw a right hook and Mac ducked, sending a punch to her stomach, Sandy stumbled back surprised. Mac didn't put her full force into it worried that she would give too much away. Sandy growled before lunging at Mac, she tackled her to the ground Mac's arms pinned above her head. She hesitated for a second before smashing her forehead into Sandy's nose. "You bitch," Sandy said falling to the side, Mac rose up with ease, preparing for Sandy to attack. She brought her right hook up ready to punch when all of sudden she felt like she was flying through the air, landing on the nearest table close by, breaking both her sunglasses and the table.

"Touch her again and I will kill you," Gage said standing over Sandy in a protective stance. Mac could feel Vamp rise even further to the surface, her anger intensifying. She could barely keep control of Vamp. "Stay down," He barked.

Mac couldn't help the giggle escape her lips. She slowly rose from the broken table a cunning smile playing at her lips.

"Look, everybody, little Gagey boy wants to play," Mac said, she turned towards Jason, "Sunglasses," leaving her hand out. He handed his glasses over and she slid them over her eyes while letting Vamp take complete control. "If you couldn't kill me before what makes you think you can now?" Mac asked her bite mark on her shoulder flaring up from the memories of that night.

"I wasn't able to touch you last time, this time I can," Gage said, referring to the fight that happened at the beginning of the school year. "Now, Mac please stop," Gage said and Mac paused she could hear his plea even with Vamp in control, "She is my mate and I have to protect her no matter the cost," Gage said. Vamp couldn't help but laugh. She slowly moves forward watching as his eyes follow her hips.

"Right, mate," Vamp said, "Is that why the mating bond worked out so well." His pack looking around confused. "Oh did the great old Alpha not tell you. He tried to mark her and it didn't work. She is a fraud and who knows maybe he is as well." She saw a flash of hurt radiate through Gage's eyes, but she was done being nice. "Here, I'll make you a deal, I won't touch your supposed mate," Vamp said placing air quotes around the word mate she was close enough that he couldn't help but see the pale of her skin, the red of her lips, and the tips of her fangs, he shook his head, Mac was human he meant teeth. "Until you are knocked out," She said the last part bringing him out of his state. She doesn't wait to bring her fist back, bashing him in the nose. He stumbles back surprised by the force.

"I'm not going to hit you, Mac," Gage said stepping back. He didn't understand how a human could be so strong, but part of him couldn't hit her again. Vamp smiled before sending another punch to his gut. She wasn't using full force, even with Vamp in complete control she could never hurt War that way.

"You just threaten to kill me, and now you won't hit me? Make up your mind Gagey boy," Mac said shoving him back. She goes to punch him again but he blocks it sending a punch to her gut. She flinches but barely reacts to it. Her group stands up ready to pounce, but they can feel a block stopping them from moving, almost like an invisible wall. "No darlings this one is mine," Vamp said smiling at them. She shoves him back again, "Is that the best you got," Vamp said towards Gage. He sends another to her stomach again, she blocks it this time and sends a punch towards his nose, she can feel the crack against her knuckles. He stumbles back holding his nose, blood gushing out.

"I don't want to hurt you," Gage said.

"Now you don't want to hurt me?" Vamp said laughing, "Well good, but guess what Gagey boy, I do want to hurt you," Vamp said, she jumps up sending a roundhouse kick to his chest. He falls to the ground but jumps right back up, preparing to fight. "You are a lot stronger than you look," Vamp said circling him.

"So are you," Gage replied mimicking her movement. Vamp laughs before throwing a punch, it connects to his jaw, he doesn't stumble just throws a punch to her ribs. She flinches feeling the pain radiate through her chest, she takes a deep breath and then takes a step forward sending a kick to his ribs, he blocks it sending another punch to her ribs, she blocks it this time.

"Find a new move," Vamp said.

"Like this?" Gage said he steps forward sending a kick to her stomach catching her off guard. She feels the air fly around her before a loud crashing sound envelops her. The student watched as the large glass window crumbled around her, gasping when they heard her land with a thump onto the cement. Nobody move to help, all too surprised, no human could survive a kick like that.

Only her pack could see her roll over, pulling a large shard of glass that was sticking out of her stomach. Blood piling up around her. There were still small shards of glass embedded in her arms and legs, but she didn't have time to pull them all out now.

"I'll admit, I did feel that one," Vamp said to herself standing up. She stumbled when a loud ringing echo in her ear. She knew instantly what it meant. She walked forward over to Gage, prepared to end this fight. She stepped forward kicking him in the chest with much more force than earlier, he went flying into the same pillar as Derrick, landing with a plop on top of him. She knew he wasn't dead, but she still hesitated to make sure that he was breathing.

Code red, now stay here, Mac mind linked to Jason, taking control of her body again.

Now, how do you know?

I know all, Mac said a slight smile on her face, she half turned towards Sandy who was still holding her nose. She couldn't help but kick out, causing her to fly into the same pillar as the two boys. Collin couldn't help the laugh escape his lips, it was short lived when he saw a shard of glass sticking out of her back.

"Mac, your back," Collin said stepping forward.

Mac half turned only to look down and see a big piece of glass embedded into her back.

"Oh shit, that hurts,"Mac was startled she didn't even feel it and she wasn't exactly sure how to explain the fact she was still standing, "Or I'm in shock I got to go," She takes a step towards the exit only to see Jason try to follow her.

Wait Mac, I'm supposed to come with you, Jason said trying to follow her, but the invisible wall was still up.

Sorry sweety, I am Alpha and I will do everything in my power to protect you. Including this, plus if anything was to happen to me we need an Alpha to watch the pack. Mac said nodding his way.

"How? You are only a human" Gage said waking up, he sits up, his back resting against the pillar. Mac turned towards him bending down to get on his level.

"Do you really believe that I am only human, really Gage," Mac whispered only loud enough for him to hear, she then reached out pulling out the shard of glass from her back and placed it in his lap.

"What are you?" Gage asked, staring up at her. This close he can see through her sunglasses, dark blue eyes looking back at them.

"You lost the right to know," Mac said punching him hard enough to knock him out again. "You know what to do," Mac said to Jason before running out of the cafeteria. The rest of the cafeteria just staring in shock at the mess she left.
