"Why do we have to dress up?" Jason asked. Mac made him wear khaki's with a nice button down shirt and a tie.

"I like dressing up," John said fixing his tie. It wasn't just them who had to dress up, Mac was making the whole pack show for dinner and look good. They were definitely not happy to do this right after the training they had. Mac made them run around the lake, do suicide sprints, and then combat where it was three on one over and over again until they dropped from exhaustion.

"Because I said so," Mac said fixing his collar. She was wearing a white skater skirt with ¾ sleeve top. She bought it with Susie a couple month ago, it was supposed to be part of her Halloween outfit, but she never got to wear it being kidnapped and all.

"Alright guys we are going to head out," Collin shouted so everybody could hear.

"Wait one moment, I'll walk you out," Mac shouted back, "make sure you guys are ready by six." She ran downstairs to find Collin, Matt, and Chloe saying goodbye to the group.

Mac waited until they were out the front door when she finally turned to them. She forgot it was snowing out and her dress didn't cover much so she pretended to be cold, just like a normal human would be. After her talk with Principal Potter, she found it was even more important for her to keep her secret, she knew it wouldn't be the end of the world if they found out she was a shifter or something, but nobody besides her pack needs to know that she is The Black Luna.

"I just wanted to ask you guys about Maddy, Jazz, and Phoebe. Why didn't you guys tell me that they use to be part of your pack?" Mac asked, she shivered and wrapped her arms around her still faking it. Matt didn't hesitate for a second to throw his jacket over her and she smiled up at him thanking him.

"When Gage's dad was Alpha it wasn't rare for kids to run away before they turned 18. We use to have to turn them in, but now with Gage as Alpha, he said whoever has left is gone, never to return. We have a big enough pack that we don't need to concern ourselves with it. So why bring it up?" Chloe said.

"I guess that makes sense, um does Gage know?" Mac asked but all paused.

"He has seen them around but I don't think he cares," Collin said.

"Don't worry too much about them ducky," Matt said causing everybody to look at them. "Sorry, it is just you kind of remind me of an old friend of mine."

"It's okay, I don't mind the name ducky," Mac said giving him a half hug.

Her phone started to ring and she realized it was the Principal saying he was on his way.

"Alright, time for you guys to go, we have training tomorrow at five in the morning if you want to join. I know it is Saturday, but it will be a busy day of training for us."

"Probably won't be there at five, but noon sure," Collin said the other agreeing to it.

"Alright see you guys then," Mac said, she left them to rush back into the house answering her phone. "Hello, great see you soon," Mac said hanging up.

She rushed in to find the group in the living room. They all looked uncomfortable but were ready for their surprise guest.

"Who is coming for dinner?" Jason asked.

"Yes, why did I have to wear a dress?" Phoebe asked, she looked extremely uncomfortable because she did have to borrow Susie's dress, who was actually smaller than Phoebe.

"Come here," Mac said, as soon as Phoebe was close she started fixing her hair.

"Stop it, Mom," Phoebe said in a mocking tone.

"Now I want everybody on their best behavior or extra laps tomorrow," Mac said the group groaning.

The doorbell rang and nobody including Mac went to answer it.

"Phoebe, get the door," Mac said.

Phoebe looked annoyed but went and answered the door. Mac smiled when she heard a scream come from Phoebe's lips.

"Mom," She shouted jumping into her mom's arms. Maddy and Jazz both jumped up from the couch running to the door,  screaming with excitement to see their parents. Mac looked over at Jason and John who both looked panicked.

"Are you not going to go say hi?" Mac asked.

"Why didn't you warn us?" Jason asked annoyed.

"I made sure you guys looked nice, plus this way it is more fun for me," Mac said shrugging.

"Evil I like it," Ethan said laughing. He looked good in his suit and was the only guy that was excited about a fancy dinner.

"Dad," Jazz said not letting go of him, "I want you to meet somebody special."

"Mom, I also want you to meet somebody," Maddy said leading her over to the boys. "This is my mate, Jason.

"And my mate John." Jazz said.

The Principal and his wife both came over greeting the guys, neither of them letting go of Phoebe's hand. The wife looked a lot like Maddy, dark skin, long black hair, and bright green eyes. Jason couldn't help but smile thinking about how good looking his mate will be once they get older.

"Thank you for taking care of our girls, all of you," Principal Potter said.

"Does this mean we all get straight A's?" Ethan asked.

Principal Potter started to laugh, "No," he said in a serious tone a minute later.

"Dinner," Trent shouted from the kitchen.

"Come on, and don't worry the seven of you can all sit together so you can get to know each other really well," Mac said smiling.

She took her seat at the head of the table and Jason, John sat on either side of her, then Maddy and Jazz next to them. Phoebe sat next to Jazz and Principle Potter and his Wife sat next to Maddy, the rest filled up the rest of the long dining table.

"Here I made three lasagna's, one is vegetarian because I wasn't sure what you would like," Trent said placing one in front of them, Katie and Brad then came out carrying the others and Allen followed with two giant bowls of broccoli.

"This looks amazing," The wife said but she really wasn't looking at it, just smiling at her daughters.

"I just want to thank everybody for being the best pack possible," Mac said lifting up her glass of wine. They all held up their glasses of wine and took a sip, except Principal Potter.

"I just want to say something," He said standing up, "I want to thank not only Mackenzie for being such an amazing Alpha but I want to thank each and every one of you for helping taking care of my girls. I couldn't imagine what their lives would be like if they didn't meet you, all of you. So I want to thank you, I wish I could do something to repay you but I don't know where to start, Tha...." The Principle stopped talking staring at Mac. Dark red was covering Mac's shoulder, she was staring at it in shock and so was he. He knew right away what was happening but she looked confused.

"Mac," Jason said picking up his napkin to cover her shoulder. The blood was everywhere, dripping down her dress, staining her white dress to a dark red.

"I'm alright it doesn't hurt," Mac said taking the napkin from him. She pressed it against the corner of her neck.

"It will," Principal Potter said to himself, only Jazz hearing him.

"What's happening, Dad?" Jazz asked, but he didn't answer. Just watched as Jason and Mac tried to clean up the blood that just kept coming.

"Mac you need to brace yourself," Principal Potter said.

"Brace for....."Mac understood immediately what he meant. She started screaming in pain dropping to the floor. It was worst than when Derrick took a chunk out of her neck, it felt like somebody was taking a knife digging into her skin, burning wherever the knife touched.

"Dad, what's happening to her?" Phoebe asked panicking. Jason, John, and Trent ran up to her, trying to find the source of the pain but all they found was more blood.

"The blood won't stop," Principle Potter said, he put his glass down but walked over to her. He was calm, but by the way he took a deep breath you could tell he was scared.

 They all were.
