"What do you know about the Black Luna?" Mac asked John. As soon as class ended she rushed off to her locker John being the first one there.

"Oh, well I know you and live with you so I think quite a lot," John said opening up his locker.

Mac lightly hit him on the head. "Why didn't you tell me?" Mac asked.

"Well I had my superstitions, I mean I knew about the Black Alpha. Half vampire, half werewolf. But they never mentioned anything about his human side and I don't know, putting a label on it doesn't really change it. You are who you are." John said facing her.

"Still I would have liked to known that I have to save the werewolf world," Mac said.

"Oh right that, I wasn't sure if that was true," John said.

"But you thought the rest of it was, come on," Mac said.

"Sorry," John said with shrug, he didn't really see it as a big deal, if it was true then she saves the world, if it wasn't true no harm no foul.

"Any other information you have held back from me?" Mac said John shook his head no placing his last book in his bag.

"What about you Mac, anything you have kept from us? Trent said. Mac turned with a confused look. "Maybe you and Jason, and how you told your whole class that you two were together." Mac's face turned into a tomato.

"Um, I didn't tell the whole class, I was just told, Gage," Mac said, stumbling over her words.

"Told Gage what?" Jason said walking over and throwing his arm over her.

"Nothing," Mac said glaring at them. She could see Gage glaring at her behind Jason but that wasn't what caught her eye. It was the blonde next to him.

She started to march towards her, her group holding her back.

"Not here," John said grabbing her around her waist.

"Why not, she deserves it," Mac said pulling against him, it wasn't full force because she knew he was right.

"You can't kill her here," Jason said.

"Fine, I'll just talk to her," Mac said, she breaks free marching over to them.

"So you are really with him? See the sad thing is you haven't realized he has a hot mate out there and you don't." Gage said. But Mac ignored him turning towards Sandy.

"I'm sorry, we haven't officially met. I'm Mac." Mac said pushing her hand out to Sandy. Sandy grimaced a bit but shook her hand.

"Sandy and yes I've been away because of family problems," Sandy said.

"Hope nobody died," Mac said, and that was the truth because she wanted her revenge.

"No, just my sister fell ill, had to take care of her," Sandy said in a monotone voice. Mac's heart leaped, she hadn't thought much of Jasmine and what hell she was going through.

"Hope it was nothing your family did," Mac said.

"Why would you say that?" Sandy said taking a step closer to Mac, she was glaring at her but her wolf made her look away.

"Oh, no reason," Mac said glaring back at her. It was taking all of her will power not to punch her.

"So you and Jason that won't last," Gage said after a moment of silence. Mac turned, she completely forgot he was there.

"And who am I supposed to be with," Mac asked annoyed, she saw Sandy out of the corner of her eye and see the green eyed monster take over Sandy's face. "You?" Mac said, she gently placing her hand on his chest. She didn't really look at Gage's reaction, just turning slightly to see Sandy getting pissed.

"Bitch get off of him," Sandy said. Mac smiled, she was enjoying the reactions from Sandy. It was causing tingles to run across her arm and body.

Mac doesn't get off of him, just starts tracing her hand up and down Gage's chest.

"Bitch," Sandy said, sending a kick to Mac's back. She turns to take it in her stomach but catches it when she tries to pull away. She twists Sandy's ankle, causing her to collapse on the floor. She places her foot on Sandy's neck, forcing her not to get up.

"Please fight back, I dare you," Mac said. She didn't though just coward on the floor in fear.

"Gage" she squeaked out but he didn't respond, he just stared down at his shirt in confusion.

Mac started laughing which caused him to look up in surprise.

"What?" Gage said looking to see Mac with her foot on Sandy's foot.

"What happened? Is that what you want to know?" Mac said. Gage just nodded his head slowly. "You just proved that this bitch means nothing to, that she means nothing to anybody here," Mac said gesturing to the hallway. Not one person stood up for her or tried to save her. All just staring at them. Mac lifted up her foot, walking back towards her group.

"What is she talking about?" Gage said he went to help Sandy up.

"She is talking about the fact, you plus nobody in our pack did anything to save her while Mac kicked her ass," Collin said walking over, he was across the hall enjoying the whole show. "You know your supposed mate." He put air quotes around the word mate, Chloe was behind him laughing at the scene as well.

"She did not kick my ass." Sandy screeched.

"She did," Chloe said.

"She did not and Gage didn't attack her because he knows the rules when it comes to humans," Sandy said.

"Yes, what she said," Gage said.

"Which makes it even funnier, not only did a human that you supposedly hate distract your mate, but she also kicked your ass," Collin said. Chloe cracking up laughing.

"You know I'm sure you won't find this so funny when Collin isn't here to protect you," Sandy said taking a step towards Chloe.

"You better stay away from her," Collin said stepping in between the two.

"I will do what I want, I am your Alpha female after all," Sandy said.

"Show me your mark then," Collin said. Sandy didn't say anything just marched off in anger.

"Dude," Collin said looking over see Gage staring at his shirt once again.

"What?" Gage said jerking his head up. "Where did Sandy go?" Gage said looking around.

"You are useless aren't you?" Collin said.

Mac left the group there ditching the rest of the day and going for a run, she actually managed to run home in wolf form going straight to the shower to cool off. Just like last time the closer it came to night time the worse her fever got.

Mac where are you? Jason mind linked her, he was mad at her for flirting with Gage, but he was still worried when she didn't show for lunch, nor for the drive home.

I'm home, sorry. Mac said.

We need to talk. Jason said.

Okay, we'll talk once you get home. Mac said.

She waited the next forty-five minutes in the shower before she went and threw on shorts and a loose tank top.

"Mac" Jason shouted through the house heading straight to her room.

"Hey," Mac said, she knew she shouldn't have flirted with Gage she felt bad, but the look on Sandy's face was worth it. "I'm sorry," Mac said. He paused at the door, her hair was kind of wet but no water on her body, the fever drying her skin off. She looked beautiful with her big blue eyes looking up at him.

"You have nothing to be sorry about, I mean we aren't a couple just two really good friends," Jason said walking over and grabbing her hand. Both of them taking a seat on the bed.

"I know we aren't couple," Mac said dropping her head with disappointment, "but if I was to see you flirt with somebody else I would be angry," Mac said.

"I know you didn't mean it, just trying to bug Sandy," Jason said, she nodded her head.

"I'm still really sorry," Mac said. "And I know we aren't a couple, but we kind of have something going here don't we." She looked up to see a giant smile on Jason's face.

"Do you have feelings for me?" Jason asked.

"Don't make fun of me, you know I do," Mac said shoving him a bit, she turned her head trying to hide her blush.

"I didn't actually," Jason said, he placed his hand under her chin pulling her head to face him. "Really I didn't. If I would have known that." Jason let the sentence hang, he was staring at her lips, she was slightly biting down on her bottom lip, she always did this when she was nervous.

"If you would have known...?" Mac asked. Jason didn't hesitate and leaned down kissing her. It started out gentle, him nervous that she would push him away at any moment but she didn't. She instead crawled on top of him, her legs on either side of him. His hand roamed her body, he didn't touch her ass just yet but they roamed over her sides, gently playing with the bottom of her shirt. Her hands were on his chest, raising them to his soft hair, she pulled gently on it causing a moan to escape from his lips. She could feel his manhood press against her and should couldn't help but grind a little against it. She slowly pushed him back on the bed, placing his hands on her ass. He smiled enjoying it but crashed his lips back onto hers.

"Guys, we need to talk," Trent said from the other side of the door.

"Go away," Jason said breaking apart from Mac.

"No this is important," Trent said. Mac rested her head on Jason's chest sighing.

"One moment," Mac shouted back. She looked up at Jason who looked annoyed. She smiled at his frown lines but gave him a quick peck before getting up off of him. "What is so important?" Mac asked angrily when she opened the door.

"Is it your time of the month? Get it because it is the full moon." Trent said. Both Mac and Jason did not look amused. "Sorry, um it is time to talk to Justin and Ethan about joining the pack. It has been a month and they want to know."

"Right now?" Mac asked.

"They kind of have their stuff outside, waiting to move in," Trent said.

"Fine," Mac said walking past him.

"So what were you two up to?" Trent asked Jason who was still lying on the bed.

"Shut up," Jason said throwing a pillow at him.

Trent just started laughing following Mac down the stairs, Jason following soon after.

"So what is the secret handshake?" Ethan asked as soon as Mac walked into the kitchen. She ignored them going straight to the fridge to grab a cold water bottle.

"Thirsty from your activity," Trent asked taking a seat on the island countertop. Jason strode in right behind him smacking him on the back of the head.

"Shut up," Mac said glaring at Trent. "No secret handshake but there are quite a lot of secrets. For one I am the Black Luna." Trent spits out his water it dribbling down his chest. Both Mac and Jason give him a quizzical look.

"What just never heard you say it outright," Trent said with a shrug.

"What?" Ethan and Justin said at the same time.

"Yes, found that out today, so there is that fun," Mac said jumping on the counter next to Jason.

"Oh is that all?" Justin said. He couldn't understand how calm they are about this, the Black Luna, something the council didn't believe was true was sitting here right in front of him.

"How do you know it is you?" Ethan asked.

"Well, the half vampire half werewolf thing was a big hint," Mac said taking a gulp of her water. Only Justin and Ethan were finding out the secret, Brad and Susie had a couple more weeks on probation before they found out themselves. "Here let me start from the beginning," and she did, she recapped it in a summary version, the evil family, Zane, the vampire attack, and her being Alpha. She kept out most of the bad parts, but it wasn't until the end that she let her true self-show. Her blue eyes, long brown hair, freckles, scars, tattoos, and her alpha mark.

Both of their eyes went wide and their jaws dropped.

"This is me, Mackenzie, or as I only really go by nowadays Mac," Mac said gesturing to her body. Jason smiled, he didn't get to see the true Mac that often anymore but she was beautiful. It took everything in him not to lean over and kiss her right then and there.

"I hate them," Justin said referring to the family and Zane.

"How could they?" Ethan said.

"I've been asking myself that for months, I mean how could people be so evil, but the truth is I don't think I will ever understand," Mac said. Her phone alarm went off. "I got to go," Mac said jumping off the counter.

"Go?" Justin asked.

"Oh right, because of me being this weird super creature I have to lock myself up every full moon, mostly because I don't have control over myself and I don't want to hurt anybody," Mac said.

"Don't worry it isn't forever, one day we will learn how to control it," John said entering the kitchen, he was going to be the one to lock her up.

"We also don't know if it will contain me because this is the first time we are trying it out," Mac said. "So here is hoping." She walked out of the kitchen down the stairs John following.

"What not going to follow her?" Trent asked Jason.

"I really don't want to lock her up," Jason said.

"Not into that kinky shit then?" Trent said. Earing a glare from Jason.

"Shut up," Jason replied.

"You should still say night to her," Trent said.

Jason thought about it and agreed running down just in time to find John with the key in the lock.

"Um, I just wanted to talk to her for a second," Jason said.

"Can't wait until the morning?" John asked.

"Can I have a moment?" He asked annoyed with John.

"Whatever, you have about ten minutes before her wolf breaks out and tries to eat you so keep that in mind," John said handing him the key.

Mac was sitting on the floor picking at her nails.

"John, you need to lock the door," Mac said not looking up.

"I just wanted to say night," Jason said. Mac jolted up jumping on him.

"It's probably not safe for you to be here," Mac said smiling, but not letting him go.

"I know, but I wanted to do this," Jason said, he peppered her with kisses all over her face causing her to giggle.

"Stop that tickles," Mac said, he briefly stops. "Why did you stop?" He laughs but continues to pepper her with kisses again. This continued for a couple of minutes before Mac screamed out in pain. He dropped her surprised.

"Mac," Jason said getting close.

"You need to leave now," Mac said using her Alpha voice, he couldn't help but leave the room locking her in. He hated her in pain, but he knew he had to leave. He was leading the run tonight with her in the cage.

"Morning," Jason said while walking into the kitchen.

"Where is Mac?" Brad asked looking around the room. It was Saturday so they all of them slept in till eleven.

"Shit," Jason said, he completely forgot and he was the only one with a key.

"Come on guys, I need to go to the bathroom," Mac shouted through the room. She woke up an hour ago and nobody was awake. Even through mind link, she couldn't reach them because they were all asleep.

"I am so sorry," Jason said unlocking the cage.

"Really," really was all Mac said running up the stairs. She really had to go.

"I'm an idiot," Jason said walking into the kitchen.

"We know," Ethan and Trent said at the same time.

"Shut up," Jason said to both of them, he felt horrible for forgetting about Mac.

She came out of the guest bathroom grabbing a plate of breakfast from Trent.

"I am so sorry," Jason said again.

"No harm no foul," Mac said digging into her breakfast.

"We need more bacon," Ethan said looking in the fridge.

"I just went to the store two days ago," Trent said.

"There are now a bunch of us, so food goes a lot faster," John said walking into the kitchen.

"Don't worry Trent I'll go to the store today," Mac said.

"I'll help," Jason said with a smile.

"I bet you will," Katie said joining them in the kitchen she sent a small wink towards him.

"You told her?" Jason asked.

"Of course I did," Trent said.

"Told her what?" Ethan asked.

"Nothing," Jason said, Mac raised her eyebrow. "I mean not nothing, it's just so soon."

"Holy shit, you two finally did it didn't you," John said.

"Did what?" Justin said walking into the kitchen, Brad and Susie following.

"They finally got together," Katie said. Both Jason's and Mac's cheek became bright red.

"Finally," Ethan said.

"Oh my god you guys are so cute," Susie said, she went over and hugged Mac and Jason at the same time.

"It's not that big of a deal," Jason said, he looked over at Mac's confused look. "I mean it is a big deal, just not for you guys." Mac smiled laughing at how with one look she could make him squirm.

"Yes it is, you have been pining after her since the day we met," John said.

"You have?" Mac asked in a gooey voice.

"Awe," Katie said sipping on her coffee.

"Shut up John," Jason said ducking his head trying to hide his embarrassment.

Mac leaned over to whisper in his ear. "Don't worry I find it cute." Giving him a quick kiss on his cheek. "Now hurry it up, we have to go to the grocery store before lunch."

She ran upstairs leaving the group to make fun of Jason for his "cuteness."

"So can I have ten pounds of beef?" Mac asked the deli guy, he gave her a surprised looked before rushing to the back to grab it.

"You think he wouldn't be that surprised," Jason said, he came up the ail his grocery cart filled with food.

"I am human so of course he is surprised," Mac said, she smiled at him. She enjoyed going grocery shopping with him, they made it a game of who can grab the cheapest food that was still edible.

"You are anything but human," Jason said walking over. He gave her a small peck on her lips. He loved kissing her, he couldn't get enough and he kept kicking himself for not doing this the moment he saw her.

"Jason," Mac said. He looked down at her sensing the stress in her voice. "I'm sorry," Mac said, she pushed him using her telekinetic powers into the nearest freezer, he was shoved up against a bunch of ice cream with barely enough leg room. forcing the door shut. He could see her facing him but a second later slumped to the ground, a guy with silver hair catching her before she crashed to the floor.

"Let her go," Jason said trying to push the door open. It wouldn't budge. The silver haired guy looked up at him gave him a small wink before lifting up the passed out Mac in his arms. "No, let her go," Jason said fighting against the door again. "No," He screamed as he watched the guy walk away. He was pounding against the glass but it wouldn't shatter, too thick for even his strength.

He was screaming for an hour, finally, the deli guy who had been knocked out came to his rescue. "Where did she go?" Jason shouted.

"I don't know dude, the guy shot me with wolfsbane." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"I need to find her," Jason said, he ran outside but couldn't smell her. "No." He shouted pounding against her car.

Guys, I need your help. Jason said through the mind link. He took her.

Who did John replied back.

Zane. Jason said.
