Maggie's POV
Okey, now I have 4 hours go shopping and to clean the house. About an hour and a half I have everything we need. I arrive at home, put the groceries away and start to clean the house. I try to ignore the pain everytime I move to fast and finally finish cleaning after more than two hours. Exhausted I let myself fall onto the couch. I look at my phone.
Oh no, it's almost 3. I quickly run upstairs into my room to look at my self again and to change into a Harry Potter hoodie. I hear the door ringing, it's probably Shawn. I run downstairs again hitting my arm against the railing. Why am I do stupid?!
Quietly swearing I walk to the door and open it with a smile. "Hey Maggie, ready to learn from the ice-hockey master" Shawn greets me happily and hugs me which makes me whimper.
He looks at me confused but before he can say something I answer "Hey Shawny, I'm more than ready." "Great, let's go" After 10 minutes we arrive at a big hall with an ice rink in the middle. It is completely empty in here. Just Shawn and I are here.
"Where are all the people?" I ask looking around. "Well... I kind of organized it that we have the rink for us for the rest of the day" Shawn says scratching his neck. "Wow" I reply smiling. "Anyways, put your iceskating shoes on and come here"
I put my shoes on and slowly walk over to where he's standing, probably looking like a duck. Shawn laughs. "Hey don't laugh at me" I say grab Shawns shoulders so I can stand straight. "Sorry you just look so cute"he says blushing at what he just said. Did he just call me cute? Why did that make my heart flutter ? And why does he seem so nervous?
We get on the ice and I almost slip but Shawn holds me up by my waist. "So now just take little steps forward." I try to do as Shawn said but after a while he lets one hand go and I fall over.
"Ouch" I groan. "Oh my god I'm sorry " He laughs helping me stand up. I dig my fingernails into his hoodie trying to stand properly. " Please don't let go" I say shaking. "Never" he mumbles staring at me.
I look into his eyes. They are so beautiful and the light shines just right into them, so they seemed even deeper than they already are. I got lost in them. He's so sweet and I love being around him. Do I like him more than a friend? What ? No! What am I thinking, he's my best friend.
I look down again and say " I think I can do it now." Trying to skate I wiggle around but of course I fall again. I fall onto my back and my head hits the ice. " Maggie!" Shawn shouts and runs to my side. My hoodie moved up a bit and he sees my bruise before I could react. I cover it again but it is to late.
Shawn looked at my at me shocked. " Maggie what is that ?" He tries to pull my hoodie up again put I snatch his hand away." Don't tell me that's from the fall!" He says getting louder.
