I had a wonderful time with Harry in Paris, however it has brought up so many memories of Emma and the plans we had of going to Paris as a married couple. I was able to keep up a facade of happiness until we got back to our hotel suite and went to our separate bedrooms. I went straight to shower so I can let my emotions out without Harry hearing me. I just stood under the flowing water and let the tears roll down my cheeks. I don't even know how long I was in there.
I finally got out and headed straight for my guitar and writing journal. This is the most constructive way I have to let my emotions out and that is writing songs. My notebook is completely full of songs all about Emma. They ranged from just about her and her beauty to the love her and Niall shared. Some songs we fun and upbeat while others were sad and heartbreaking. Emma will always be the first love of my life. She helped form me into the person I am today and I will always love her. While I was sitting there on the floor strumming on my guitar I just began crying uncontrollably again and I was to overcome with my emotions to really care if Harry heard me or not.

Niall and I had a very enjoyable day together. I was so glad I was able to share to beauty of Paris with him. We decided to grab a quick supper on our way back to the hotel. Once we got to our suite we each went to our rooms because we were both completely exhausted. I went ahead took a quick shower and got on my comfy lounge pants and went to bed.
I am not really sure how long I was asleep but my beeping phone woke me up. It was a text from Nick of course. I quickly replied saying I was in bed and would call him in the morning. I headed into the kitchenette to grab a water now that I was awake. On my way there I heard faint crying coming from Niall's room. I just thought he had on the telly so I didn't pay that much attention. Then I heard Niall yelling "why Emma why not me". First who in the hell is Emma and what is he talking about. I cautiously walked over to his door and knocked. I got no answer so I let myself in and what I saw just broke my heart. Niall was sitting on the floor with his guitar in his lap and he was crying.
I quickly crossed the room and sat beside him and hugged him. Niall buried his head into my chest and started shaking and crying even harder. I just sat there and held him while he got it all out. Once Niall was able to settle down I asked "Niall, love what is wrong". He just looked at me and said "Emma she is gone". We spent rest the night sitting on the floor and Niall told me all about Emma from their first meeting to her passing. I just listened and held him in my arms. At some point Niall fell asleep and I was able to get him into his bed before I went out to the sitting room and tried to let everything he just told me sink in. My heart is breaking for Niall. I can't believe he has kept this bottled up for so long.
