"Hailee?! Hailee! Look at me!" I hear a voice, miles away in the darkness. I feel light taps on my cheek. I roll my eyes down and see a blurry face a few inches in front of me.
"Hailee!" the face screams. I try to say something, but I end up drooling and my head swing back due to my weak neck.
"Baby stay with me!" I freeze when I recognize the voice.
Grayson...
I force myself to open my eyes. The blur slowly starts to fade away and I can finally see his beautiful hazel eyes. I bring my shaky hands to his face and gently cup his cheeks.
"Gray...son..." I mumble and inspect his face. Every single detail. Starting from his eyes, to his freckle, to his jawline and finally to his lips.
His pink plump lips...
"I'm here. You're okay..." he whispers.
We hear sudden gunshots. He quickly pulls me in his arms to protect my body. I squeeze my eyes shut and hide my face in his sweatshirt, where I catch a scent of his smell.
My eyes open.

I stop walking when his gaze meets mine.
My jaw almost drops.
He. Is. Fucking. Hot.
He has brown slid-back hair, a jawline carved by god itself and the body of someone who spends more than five hours in the gym per day.
A fucking masterpiece.

"I've never seen you around..." he claims.
I can't help but smirk.
"I'm new here." I reply as I rest my chin in my hand.
"Hmm that's why. I would've remembered such a pretty face." he flirts and I feel my cheeks slowly heating up.

I open my car's door, about to get in, but a hand closes the door as soon as I open it.
I turn around to glare at the person.
"I'm not allowed to talk to you, remember?" I snap and turn back around, about to get in the car again.
I open the door and he slams it shut one more time.
His massive arm was right next to my body, pushed up against my car's door. He stares in the depth of my eyes and I feel my knees go weak because of the tension between us.

I turn my car on and hear a door slamming shut beside me.
What the f... did he just get in my car?
"Please explain to me why you hopped in my car?" I sarcastically ask.
I turn my head to him.
Without any warnings, he grabs my cheek and pulls me into a lingering kiss.
He slides his tongue inside my mouth and swirls it around, sending a million volts through my whole body.
I softly moan as he pulls back while bitting my bottom lip.

I smile and rest my chin on his arm.
He leans forward and pecks my lips.
"I'll call you when I get home?" I smile.
"Sure thing babe." he replies and leans in. I press my lips against his and cups his cheek.

"Hailee..." he moans as his breathing increases. I tighten my grip on his wrists and suck harder on his neck.
He turns me around to be on top of me again.
His head is right above my chest. He leans down and kisses my breasts, making his way up to my collarbone. He grabs my thighs and pulls me even more under him.

He crawls on top of me and leans down to kiss my neck. He leaves hickeys on my collarbone and breasts as his hands slides to my hips. He grips my body firmly and pounces himself into me. I feel a sharp pain at first.
I gasp.

I move my gaze around the dark room and spot Grayson in the far corner opposite to mine.
My eyes widen.
"Grayson!" I shout as I stand up as fast as possible. He opens his eyes in a heartbeat and looks around, panicked.
"Hailee!" he screams when he sees me and he stands up in a matter of milliseconds. We both start running towards each other until...
BAM!
We both fall to the ground after we bounced backwards, retained from a chain attached to our ankles.

I bring a hand to my forehead and close my eyes, letting out a deep sigh.
He throws his phone at a locker and it breaks into tiny pieces. I lightly jump and look at him in fear and regret.
"You had sex with my fucking brother?!" he screams and some people come out of their classrooms. They take their phones out and record the whole thing.
I look down in shame and rub my left arm.
"I can't fucking believe you..." he whispers in disappointment and walks out of the school.
"Grayson, wait!" I yell and tears start to fall uncontrollably down my cheeks.

My grip loosens and my eyes start to water.
I pull away from our embrace and yank on his shirt to crash my lips on his without wasting any seconds. I squeeze my eyes shut and fist his shirt throughout the kiss. He slides a hand behind my sensible neck and carefully runs his thumb over my cheek to wipe the tear that was falling down.

"Why are you smiling?" I chuckle and play with his hair on the back of his head. He slides his hands on my ribs and down to my hips.
"I'm the luckiest guy in the world..." he brings his gaze back to me and his smile is now gone. His face is serious. He looks down at my lips while I'm bitting them.
I cup his cheeks once again and press my lips on his.

I slowly pull away and stare in the dark forest hidden in the iris of his eyes.
"What are you doing..." he mumbles, breathless.
"Something I've should've done a long time ago..." my eyes become watery again. I softly smile.
His eyes widen.
"I... remember... you..." my voice wavers, exhilarated from the tension between us. I run a finger over his bottom lip. I read a hint of excitement and overwhelm in his eyes. He quickly takes my hands and pulls me into a fiery and passionate kiss. My hands work their way around his body, feeling each crevasse, each line along his perfect physique. His insistent mouth parts my shaking lips, sending wild tremors along my nerves, evoking from my sensations I never knew I was capable of feeling. And before I even realize it, I kiss him back.
We pull apart and open our eyes. We stare deep into each other's eyes. Grayson's full of wonder and love, mine's full of curiosity and passion. No words are spoken but a story worthy of us is communicated.
I can't help feeling the adrenaline of my heart. In the moment, all I seem to think about is the two of us. It's like the guys shooting behind us didn't even exist anymore.
It's just me and Grayson.
"I love you, Hailee." Grayson speaks every word with affection which sets my heart to a ticking bomb. My whole body goes numb when I get lost in his comforting eyes. I lift my hands out of his, and pull them up high to his shoulders, where I entwine them with his soft brown hair. We both close our eyes and connect our lips back together.
A soft moan escapes his mouth and I lightly smile against his lips while wrapping my arms around his neck before kissing him again.
Ethan's POV
When the cop shots the remaining guy who is sitting on the couch, I finally dare to turn around. My jaw drops and I furrow my brows.
They're kissing... again...
"Tie them up!" the officer shouts and the two other cops run past me and accidentally bump into my shoulder which brings me out of my emotional thoughts. I look behind me to see Josh getting cuffed behind his back. He mumbles something under his breath which sends shivers down my spine.
"I'll come back one day. And I'll kill you all..." he whispers before the cop makes him stand up and they walk out the door. I sigh and close my eyes.
When I open them back, I see Hailee and Grayson standing up, one wrapped up in another's arms. They walk up to me with tears forming in their eyes.
"She remembers me..." Grayson mouths to me and a tear falls down his cheek.
My heart sinks.
Hailee's POV
"D-do you remember me?" Ethan sadly smiles and raises his eyebrows.
My heart sinks.
I look down and slowly shake my head. He furrows his brows and looks away before sniffling a couple of times.
"Excuse me..." he whispers and walks past us to get out of the house.
I know he's crying.
And it truly breaks me...

"Oh my god are you okay?!" Paige throws herself at my neck and hugs me as tight as she can. I softly rub her back and squeeze an eye shut because of the pain she inflicts to my back.
"I would be if you squeezed me a little less harder..." I try to chuckle but I end up coughing.
"Oh sorry..." she pulls away and blushes. She takes my hands and gives me a warm smile.
"Everything's going to go back to normal now... He's in jail. And you and Grayson got back together." tears loading her eyes as she smiles at me. I press my lips together and look down.
"I wouldn't say that we completely got back together... but it's coming." I look away and a smile curls up on my lips when I see Grayson talking to a police officer.
A car arrives and a ginger girl comes out of it. She starts running and jumps in Grayson's arms. It's only now that I realize it's Candice.
She pulls away and cups his cheeks with tears filling her eyes. She leans in but he backs away.
I smirk.
He mouths a few words to her and she looks down and gulps with difficulty. She hides her face in her hands and start to sob. He wraps his arms around her and apologizes.
He broke up with her.
"Excuse me for a minute." I smile at Paige and walk confidently to Candice. I push her away from Grayson and when she looks up at me, I raise my hand up in the air and smack her as hard as I possibly can. She brings her hands to her stinging cheek and looks over at me as a tears start to fall down her swollen face.
"What the fuck?!" she yells and I cross my arms and raise an eyebrow in sassiness.
"That's because you took advantage of my memory loss to hook up with my boyfriend." I snap without regrets. She looks over at Grayson and waits for him to do something. He only gulps and looks down.
"You broke the girl code, sweetie." Paige walks up behind me and rests her elbow on my shoulder. Candice takes a step back, then another, her hand not leaving her cheek. She spins her heels around and runs away in tears. She takes off at full speed in her car.
I close my eyes and smile.
Another weight lifted off my shoulders...
The only thing is that Becca is going to hate me now...
"My place. Right now. All of us." Grayson lightly smirks and I smile at him. I wrap my arm around his waist and he folds his arm around my neck. He kisses the top of my head as we walk to the car.
I turn my head to look behind me one last time.
Ethan looks over at me and our eyes meet. He makes the saddest face ever before sighing and looking down. A tear falls down his cheek.
And a tear falls down mine...
