"AAH-CHOO!" Dedede sneezed in his bed.
"Sire," Escargoon said as he looked the thermometer. "Your fever is really high!"
"I'm hot! Get me some ice cream!" Dedede demanded.
"But sire, you can't have those kinds of food when you're that sick," Escargoon said.
"Just give me some!" Dedede said.
"I'm afraid I can't do that," Escargoon insisted.
"You li'l slug face!" Dedede reached to raise his mallet, but he had no strength to do so. "Uggh, my arms feel weak!"
"Looks like you can't hammer me for now!" Escargoon said, trying to hide his joy.
"Uggh... I hate being sick!" Dedede complained as Waddle Dee changed his towel for his forehead.
"You should really take care of yourself, sire," Escargoon said. "From now on, no sweets, no junk food, no greasy food, just healthy diet until your fever goes down."
"Is there a quicker way?!" Dedede asked.
"There's always doctor Yabui," Escargoon said.

"NO! NO-OH-HO-HO!" Chief Bookem shrieked in fear.
"Honey! You have to take this shot!" Buttercup said. "Your sickness will be worse if you don't take this shot!" She was holding the shot as Yabui was scared of needles. He just told her where to 'stab'.
"No-nonononononono," Chief Bookem shook his head. "Not this time! NOT THIS TIME!" He ran away.
"Bookem! Honey!" Buttercup chased after him. "How will you work as a police if you are that sick?"
Chief Bookem and Buttercup passed by Tiff, Tuff, Kirby, Iroo, Honey, and Spikehead.
"Boy, looks like Buttercup is the only person in town who chases after Bookem," Tuff said as she watched the chase.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
"But thank goodness this time not all cappies are sick this time," Tiff said.
"Outta my way!" Escargoon said as he went through everyone and the Waddle Dees carried Dedede.
"Looks like someone else's sick," Tuff said.
"Someone who we really don't care if he's sick," Tiff said as he was being carried into Yabui's office.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
"This is gonna be interesting to watch!" Iroo said.
"Let's watch this scenario!" Honey said as she peeked through the window.
"Yeah! Let's watch him!" Spikehead was so excited to see.
"This is going to be fun to watch!" Tuff said.
"It won't be fun when you get that kind of fever," Tiff said. "Kirby, let's go. I don't want you to have any bad influence around you."
"Poyo?" Kirby said as Tiff held his hand and started to walk away from them.
Tuff, Honey, Iroo, and Spikehead were peeking and eavesdropping Dedede's treatment.
"So, Dr. Yabui? How is he?" Escargoon asked.
"Well, his fever is so high," Yabui said.
"Is there a way we can heal him faster?" Escargoon asked.
"He has to take a shot," Yabui said.
"NO WAY! I'M TAKING NO SHOTS!" Dedede jumped and hung onto the handle of the window.
"But you're afraid of needles," Escargoon said to Yabui.
"I-I'm sure Waddle Dee would know what they're doing," Yabui said. "I told Buttercup where to stab. One of the Waddle Dee learned it before."
"All right, you pip squeaks," Escargoon said as he turned to Waddle Dees. "Which one of you pip squeak has given a shot before?" One Waddle Dee raised its hands. "All right! You know what to do!"
Waddle Dee grabbed the shot and approached to Dedede. "NO!" Dedede shrieked. "YOU AIN'T GONNA PUT THAT NEEDLE ON MY BODY!"
"I wonder where he got that energy," Escargoon said.
"NO NO NO! STAY AWAY!" Dedede shrieked with even more fear in his voice.
"Sire, if you don't take this shot, you won't heal faster," Escargoon said.
"NO! NOT THIS TIME!" Dedede exclaimed as he ran out the hospital.
"SIRE!" Escargoon yelled as he chased after him. Waddle Dees also chased after Escargoon.
Watching this, Tuff, Honey, Iroo, and Spikehead were laughing hard on the ground.
Back at the castle, Dedede's fever and body ache was even worse. He couldn't even move. "Oh...." he groaned weakly. He wanted to say something, but he didn't have energy to let out his voice.
"Here sire," Escargoon said. "I got you some soup." He carried a tray with him. "Can you sit up?" Dedede stood up slowly and weakly. Escargoon scooped up a spoonful, and blew it to cool it down. "Open up, sire." Dedede opened his mouth so that Escargoon can feed him. "You big baby." Escargoon continued to blow the soup to cool it down.
"Th... tha... thanks..." Dedede said weakly.
"If you are really thankful, you can raise my paycheck," Escargoon said with a little sass.
"I'll... think... about it," Dedede was in no mood to joke around.
"Really?" Escargoon asked, surprised. Dedede said nothing. But just opened his mouth so that Escargoon can feed him even more.
"Now try to get some rest, sire," Escargoon said. "Sleeping is the best medicine for high fever like that."
"All right..." Dedede said and closed his eyes.
Escargoon quietly walked out of the door. "Wow, that was pretty easy-going," Escargoon said to himself. "I really wish that he is sick everyday so that my life is going to be so much easier. Yo! Waddle Dees!" Waddle Dees went to him. "Take care of Dedede and only call me when he calls me. I'm taking a long break." Waddle Dees nodded.
"Hey... Waddle Dees..." Dedede called weakly. Waddle Dees surrounded his bed. "Take me... to the... throne room..." Waddle Dees nodded and carried him to his throne room. Dedede couldn't take this sickness anymore.
"Yes your ma- oh what happened sire?" Susie asked as she saw Dedede in terrible condition.
"Fe-ver..." Dedede said.
"So you want to order something that would make you feel better in less than a minute?" Susie asked.
"How-" Dedede said.
"Your majesty, my IQ is 265. I can build robots, I can make monsters, how can I not notice your intention. I mean you're sick, so this is obvious," Susie said.
"Do... you-"
"I think I have some pills that can heal you very fast."
"Then... how-"
"Of course I'll send it to you, your majesty."
"Tha-"
"You're very welcome, your majesty."
"I'll pa-"
"All right. You can pay me as soon as possible, your majesty. Here it comes."

"Ahh... I've never had this relaxing day-off in my life!" Escargoon said as he sipped his juice, crunched his chips, and watched a TV.
"YO! ESCARGOON!" Dedede screamed. That sound made Escargoon feel like the world was falling apart.
Oh, no... Escargoon thought. It can't be! Escargoon ran to his room. But before entering, he took a deep breath. "Yes, sire?" He asked as he went in.
"I want me some lunch! It better taste good!" Dedede said.
"Uh..." Escargoon said. "Weren't you sick?"
"I'm not anymore! So get me some lunch!" Dedede demanded. "I didn't eat much since yesterday!"
"Yes, your majesty," Escargoon replied. As he stepped outside, he said to himself, "How did he get better all of a sudden? I thought this was gonna be my happiest day. Yo Waddle Dees! Cook something good for the King! I have important things to talk about with someone." Waddle Dees nodded and went into the kitchen and cooked. Escargoon went into the throne room and connected to Susie.
"Well, your- oh, how are you, sir Escargoon?" Susie greeted.
"What did you do to his majesty?" Escargoon demanded.
"He asked for fever pills and I gave him some," Susie answered.
"So you just sold that to him?" Escargoon asked.
"Yes, he paid the twice the amount," Susie said as she fanned the bills.
"Can't you make him sick again?" Escargoon asked.
"Yeah, but if I was him, I would take the pills immediately after feeling sick," Susie said.
"But the King's not smart as you are," Escargoon said.
"But if he was sick again, he'd want to come to me and ask for advice," Susie said. "Sir Escargoon, I'm on top of your head. Don't act smart with me."
"That is true, you're much smarter than I am," Escargoon said.
"I hate to tell you, but I really believe you should give up," Susie said. "Or you can think about how you can do to avoid his nagging for a day if you really want a break."
"Well..." Escargoon thought for a moment.
"Think harder, Sir Escargoon," Susie said. "If you happen to find the solution you're looking for, you'll be able to figure out what you want. Adios~"
"Figure out what I want? Hm..." Escargoon thought. "What would make the King not boss around me the whole day?" Escargoon went into a deep thought. Since the Waddle Dees were taking care of Dedede, Escargoon was able to concentrate on his thought. "Ah! That's the one!" Escargoon's lightbulb in his brain lit up.

"YO ESCARGOON! WHERE YOU AT?!" Dedede screamed.
"Yes sire?" Escargoon showed up.
"Get me some tea!" Dedede said.
Just what I wanted to hear! Escargoon thought. "Right away, sire." He went to go get him a cup of tea.
"Here you go sire," Escargoon said with an unnoticeable sly voice.
Dedede took the cup and took a sip. "Ahhh," He said as he swallowed. The warm tea surely refreshed him.
Few moments after Dedede finished his tea, he started to feel drowsy. "I gotta get some sleep..."
"All right, get some rest, your majesty," Escargoon said. Then he chuckled and said to himself under his breath, "Just as planned." He proudly watched his box of sleeping pills.

"Why is the castle so quiet?" Tuff asked as he was taking a walk with Kirby and Tiff.
"Well, we didn't hear any Dedede's rant since yesterday," Tiff said. "I guess the fever calmed him down." She saw Escargoon from a distance, just messing around. "Hey, Escargoon!" She called.
"Hey, Tiff!" Escargoon answered.
"Aren't you supposed to be working?" She asked.
"Not when he's asleep," Escargoon replied.
"Is he really that sick?" Tuff asked.
"No, I just used sleeping pills on him," Escargoon winked.
"You mean he's better but he's taking a nap?" Tuff asked.
"That's correct!" Escargoon said. "So I decided to take a day off, pretty much."
"Is this going to go on for quite some time?" Tuff asked.
"You sure bet!" Escargoon said excitedly.
This has been going on for days now. Dedede practically got twenty-three hours of sleep everyday for almost four days straight. Dedede was wondering why he was drowsy all the time. He decided to go to Susie for help.
"What can I do for you, sire?" Susie asked.
"I feel drowsy all the time!" Dedede said.
"I wonder why..." Susie said, knowing the reason why.
"Is it a side effect for that pill you gave me for the fever?!" Dedede asked.
"No, but I shall keep no secrets as it was part of the contract," Susie said. "Sir Escargoon ordered pills to make you fall asleep."
"What?! That slug-faced parasite!" Dedede yelled furiously.
"He must've fed you those pills," Susie said. "It's really bad to take pills all the time..."
"Why not?! Are they poisonous?!" Dedede asked.
"No sire, your body just becomes reliant to it." Susie explained.
"Whachu mean?!" Dedede asked.
"Never mind that, but you really need to go easy on those pills. Same thing goes to you, sire Escargoon. I know you're hiding."
"You traitor! This was supposed to be a secret!"
"You have no right to yap, ya nasty reptile!"
"Now, now. You should just let it go and start forgiving and stop tormenting each other," Susie said to calm them down.
"You're right! I must take care of Kirby!" Dedede said.
"Yeah, instead of making us drug each other," Escargoon said.
"Oh dear... now I'm accused as drug dealer..." Susie put her hand over her head.
"Just use the rest of the pills to fight Kirby!"
"Great idea, sire," Susie said. She got to the work as soon as she receives the pills. "Behold, Pillah!"

"Poyo, poyo, poyo!" Kirby happily skipped around the castle with Tuff and Tiff by his side. Suddenly, Pillah came out of nowhere and started to attack them by throwing explosive pills at them.
Alerted, they all started to scream and started to dodge all the pills and moved far away from Pillah.
"Kirby! You know what to do!" Tiff saif.
"Poyo!" Kirby inhaled the incoming attack and turned into doctor Kirby.
"What is that?" Tuff asked.
"He is now doctor Kirby!" Meta Knight said as he came out of nowhere.
"That's new," Tiff said.
Kirby threw pills at it, but Pillah's pills countered his attack. Kirby prepared a bigger poll as he dodged all the rest of the pills attack. When he charged uo, he threw the pill at Pillah with such force. Since Pillah was not that sturdy, it was smashed into pieces.
"All right!" Tiff and Tuff cheered. Around the floor that were covered with pills.
Dedede and Escargoon walked by. "AAAHHH!" They screamed.
"I'm tired of seeing pills now," Escargoon said.
"Clean this place up!" Dedede demanded.
"No more medicines for them I guess," Tiff said.
"They should've had enough pills," Tiff said.
"Poyo," Kirby agreed.
