"I wonder where Violet's at? I haven't seen her in any of my classes, today." Rio Kastle said.
"You're right. She missed a day of school, today." Tori Meadows said. "I think we should go check up on her or something--"
BEEP!
"Huh?" Tori heard a beeping noise come from her school bag. She took out her duel gazer. "Looks like I have a call from someone."
"Who's calling you?" Yuma Tsukumo asked.
"It's from...Violet." Answered Tori, wondering why Violet would be calling her.
"Well... You better answer it, Tori," said Yuma.
"Right." Tori answered the call by putting on her duel gazer. "Hi Violet. Why did you call me?" She could see that Violet was in her room, sitting on the top of her bed, wearing her pajamas.
"I-I...just wanted to say that I didn't come to school today because I was sick."
"You were sick? That does explain why you're in your room in your pajamas. I hope you feel better tomorrow."
"Actually I don't think I'll be at school tomorrow. I don't feel well."
"Really? I'm sorry Um... Maybe--" Tori stopped talking, trying to think of what to say next.
That was when Ray Shadow's words had came into the conversation. "I can visit you tomorrow after school and help you feel better."
Tori then looked at Ray. "Yeah. Ray will visit you tomorrow, Violet. Is that good with you?"
Violet rubbed her eye with her hand and yawned. "Sure. It's fine. Anyways bye."
"Bye."

"I'll see you later guys!" Ray waved to Yuma and Tori before running off to see Violet.
He stopped by a florist to get a rose for Violet. Violet will really like this rose that I got for her. He hid the rose behind his back as he hummed a cheery rhythm to himself.
He was so caught up in his thoughts, he didn't manage to notice that he bumped into someone's torso. "Hey! Watch where you're going Vector!"
Ray fell down and he dropped his rose in the process. "Sorry I didn't see you there, Kite." He knelt down on the concrete to find the flower but he couldn't find it. He then lost it, as he went into a wild panic. Where is it!? I thought I had it here! I must find that rose! But where could it be!?
Kite Tenjo realized he had trouble finding some sort of lost item. "What's wrong Vector? Are you having trouble finding something you lost?"
Ray stood back up on his feet and scratched his hair. "Lose something? What makes you say that?" He giggled in a awkward tone.
"Hmm." Kite closed his eyes. "You mean..." He took out a familiar looking flower. "You're not looking for this?"
"Hey! Where did you--That's mine!" Ray shouted. "Give it back!" He put his hand out.
"Nope. Not until you tell me why you're in a happy mood."
"Happy mood?"
"Yeah. I saw you humming to yourself, before you bumped into me."
"Uh." Ray sweat dropped and lied. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Suuure...you do." Kite said. "Well I'm not giving you back this rose until you tell me why you want it so bad."
"I don't want it!" Vector shouted. "It's just for Violet--that's all!"
Hearing the girl's name 'Violet' had changed Kite's mood. "The rose is for her!? No wonder you're in such a good mood! You're happy because you're going to see Violet. Am I... right, Vector?"
Vector's eyes turned into small circles, showing that he was shocked. He covered his mouth with his hands. How can I say that? All of it just slipped my mind. I didn't mean to tell Kite. So much for keeping it quiet.
"And I could tell by the expression on your face that you weren't expecting to come clean...so easily." Kite chuckled. "How hilarious." He then turned serious for the next moment. "Now you take me to Violet's home or else I won't give you your precious rose back."
Vector shrugged. "Fine." He began walking again, Kite followed his lead. "Just a heads-up, Kite. I'm visiting Violet today to help her."
"Help her? Why?"
"Because she's sick and didn't go to school for 2 days, which include today and yesterday."
"Hmph. I hope she feels better. In that case, I'm definitely going with you to Violet's house. And you can't stop me or else I won't give you back the rose."
Vector looked mad but he gritted his teeth to conceal his anger. "Fine. Whatever. Have it your way."

Vector and Kite entered the house. "She left the door unlocked. So..she's probably in her room."
"Before we go any further into her house. Give me back the rose." Vector begged.
"Sorry but I changed my mind. I'm not giving it back to you. I've chosen to give it to Violet, instead. That way...she'll come to think about me."
"Hey! No fair! I paid for that."
"You paid for it. Well...I don't see your name on it."
"It doesn't have your name either, Kite--"
"Hello? Is someone there? Ray is that you?" A voice echoed through the house.
"YES! It's me, Violet!" Ray shouted. "I'll be on your way to your room now."

"Hi Violet." Ray Shadows saw Violet Flowers in her room through the open door. Kite Tenjo was at the corner of the wall nearby. He he elbowed him lightly, as a signal to tell Violet that he was with him.
"And Kite's with me too," Ray sweat dropped. "If that's okay with you."
"It's okay with me."
Kite entered Violet's room and so did Ray. "I got you this rose, Violet." He revealed the rose that was behind his back.
"T-thank... y-you." Violet stuttered. "AHHH!" Her nose was acting up and the boys backed up, expecting for her to give out a big sneeze.
But, instead, she released a small sneeze. "Choo!"
"You have a cute sneeze." Kite said.
Violet didn't know what to say. "Cute? I sneezed because I'm sick." She giggled.
"Violet." Ray said. "Do you know why you're sick?"
"I dunno."
"Lemme see," Ray touched Violet's forehead. "You appear to have a burning fever. And of course, you're sneezing."
Kite and Ray were love rivals, when it came to Violet. They were both trying to help her as much as they could, when she was sick. But, so far, things weren't going well. Much to her annoyance, they kept getting mad at each other and she didn't know why.
That was when she realized, she had had enough with these boys. "THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU TWO! ALL YOU DO IS ARGUE AND TRY TO GET THINGS FASTER THAN THE OTHER DOES!" Violet made an outburst. "I'm sick of this! Both of you out!"
"But Violet. You can't take care of yourself, by yourself." Ray said. "Please let me, help you."
"No, let me," Kite said.
"NO! One of you has to go! And it's not going to be Ray."
"What? You mean?" Kite inquired.
"Yes, you. I'm sorry, Kite. But you should be there for your little brother, Hart. Not me. Hart needs you more." Violet Flowers convinced Kite Tenjo.
"You're right, I forgot that Hart is a part of my life and that he's important to me." Kite said. "I promised to always be there for him. And I've never broken a promise." He made a fist.
His eyes followed Violet. "Bye Violet. Get well soon." He left the room.
Ray and Violet both looked at each other in confusion.
"What time is it, Ray?"
Ray looked at the clock. "It's about to be 9:30 pm."
"9:30!? It's already night!?" Violet couldn't believe that time flew by so fast.
"Yes. And since it's night. It's time for you to go to sleep." Ray assured the then girl.
Without thinking, he said this sentence; "Do you want me to sleep with you in bed?"
Violet turned red, hearing what he said. She was silent. Did he seriously just ask me that question? She got up from her bed and looked embarrassed. "In bed?" She approached Ray.
Ray backed up a little. Oh no. She thinks I-- His thought was interrupted when Violet continued talking. "Were you suggesting what you think I--"
Ray Shadows sweat dropped. "That's not what I meant! It just-- He was cut off when Violet Flowers tackled him on her bed. "What's wrong with you? You idiot!"
"You have to think before you--" She stopped talking when she realized what Ray was doing, he took her hands and pinned her down on the top of her bed. He was now on top of her. Violet's heart was beating and she had a visible blush all over her face.
Violet and Ray stared at each others' eyes, for what seemed like forever. Ray leaned in and was about to kiss Violet. But, as much as he wanted to. He couldn't force himself to kiss her. It just seemed wrong. He stopped what he was doing and got up from the bed. "You should be getting your rest." He made up an excuse so that he could avoid the subject on what he was about to do with Violet.
Violet blushed.
"Good night, Vi--"
"Wait! Ray!" Violet shouted from her bed. "Before you go, I just want to say..."
Ray stopped walking and listened to what she had to say. "Thanks for coming--I mean--" Violet blushed. "I want to say...Thank you for taking care of me."
"Oh. You're most welcome. Anyways.. How are you feeling now?"
Violet blushed and grinned. "I'm feeling much better, thanks to you."
"I'm glad to hear that," Ray felt happy. "Anyways...I'll see you, tomorrow."
"Yeah. Have a good night."
