My contractions were getting worse.
They were now 10 minutes apart.
LaLa was speeding to the hospital.
Odell was out celebrating with his friends for one of their birthdays.
I had called him but he didn't answer.
Not to mention the pain but I was also a nervous wreck.
I wanted him to be there so badly.
"Shhh. Hold on we almost there." Assured LaLa.
I squinted my eyes as I felt a sharp pain in my back.
We pulled up to the hospital.
My mom was already there.
I was sent to the maternity ward.
I had my mom call Odell.
He picked up at the fourth ring.
I could hear the music booming.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hey, you need to get to the hospital now. Nay is in labor." Said my mom.
I heard him pause.
"She's in what?!"
The doctor came in.
"Look I'm gone text you everything but you need to be on your way." She said as she hung up.

I gripped his hand tighter. I could hear my mom from behind the doctor.
"Push Nay! Push! I can see him!"
I felt hot tears stream down my face.
"I-I-I can't!!!" I cried
"Yes you can baby." Said Odell as he rubbed my head.
"Come on Nay!! He's almost out!!" Yelled my mom.
I just started thinking about how happy I'd be when he was here.
The doctor told me to push once more.
I pushed with all my might.
I heard my mom give a sigh of relief.
Odell's eyes widened.
"You did it!!" He cheered.
The baby was immediately placed on my chest.
We were all pretty teary eyed.
We were parents now.
Our baby was here.💕
