"It's a really nice house you got here, it's so..pink." Nicole said as she looked around the living room.
Camila and Lauren were sitting on the couch opposite her, holding hands.
"My girl here loves pink." Lauren said looking at Camila.
Camila chuckled. Nicole forced a smile at the sight.
"So, what do you work as, Camila?" asked Nicole, suddenly.
Camila stared at her, unsure of what to answer.
"Er.."
"Don't tell me someone like you just stays home and waits for your girlfriend every day.." added Nicole.
Lauren felt uneasy at Nicole's words.
"Well.."
"You have such a beautiful voice." Nicole continues.
Lauren stared at Nicole, shocked.
"You heard her sing?"
Nicole nodded, proud.
"Why, you never heard her singing?"
Lauren bit her lip. Camila tightens her grip on Lauren's hand.
"I'll sing for you anytime you want." she said, sweetly. Lauren felt much better at her girlfriend's assurance. She smiled.
"Promise?"
Camila planted a quick kiss on Lauren's lips. "Sealed with a kiss."
They continued to gaze into each other's eyes, lovingly. Nicole can't help but feel irritated and jealous. She cleared her throat. Both Lauren and Camila looked at their guest.
"Oh, we're sorry." Lauren said.
Nicole rolled her eyes.
"I feel like I'm interrupting you two. I'll better get going now."
"Oh, no you're not. Stay longer." Camila said.
"It's okay, Camila, I'll visit some other time." Nicole said.
"Yes, visit us anytime." Lauren added.
"I will."
"How long are you going to be in New york, by the way?" Lauren asked.
"I'm not sure yet.." Nicole paused and stared at Camila.
"..maybe until I get what I want."

This can't be happening.
Vanessa has been staring at the same page of the magazine for almost an hour now. She's not reading it, she got her mind on something else. Ashley is sitting next to her. Next to her.
This can't be happening.
She's been trying to avoid Ashley for a week and she almost succeeded in forgetting her. But how is she supposed to avoid someone who's in the same office as her? Who's sitting next to her?
"Vee.." Ashley called.
Vanessa startled, causing her to knock off a stack of files on her desk. Vanessa quickly kneeled down to pick her files up.
"Let me help you." Vanessa looked at the source of the sweet voice.
Ashley is smiling, picking up her files. Vanessa panicked and quickly grabbed anything that's left on the floor. But she grabbed something soft, and it's not a file. She grabbed Ashley's hand. They stared at each other for a few seconds before quickly letting go.
"I'm sorry." Vanessa said, her face red.
Ashley smiled.
Stop smiling.
Please stop smiling.
"Excuse me." Vanessa said before she ran out of the office.
Everyone stared at her, confused.
"What's wrong with Nessa?"
Lauren shrugged. "Maybe she ate too much."
Ally shook her head. "I think this is much more complicated than food problem."

Marley smiled and began typing.

"Mar!"
Marley quickly put her phone in her pocket.
"Oh, Zee. You're here."
Zooey linked her arm with her girlfriend.
"Did you wait long? I'm sorry." Zooey said.
Marley smiled.
"I just got here." she lied. She's been there almost an hour ago.
Zooey felt guilty, she knew she made Marley wait.
"I already bought the tickets." Marley said, showing Zooey two movie tickets.
"Oh! Great!" Zooey said, excited.
The date went really well, for a moment Marley had forgotten about her jealousy towards Zooey.
She shook her head.
It's very stupid to be jealous.
I should be proud to have such a beautiful and successful girlfriend.
She smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" Zooey asked.
"Oh nothing. I just remembered something funny."
"Oh."
Marley continued to smile, she's just really happy to be with Zooey. Suddenly, she gave a small peck on Zooey's left cheek. Zooey was surprised and turned to look at her girlfriend. They smiled at each other.
"I'll take that as 'I love you'. Since you can't say the words."
Marley chuckled and nodded.
"Let me try to say it again."
"Okay."
Marley cleared her throat. Zooey waits in anticipation.
"I..love..
Marley paused.
..Yo...da."
Zooey broke laughing just as Marley finished her sentence.
"Yoda?! That short green thing from Star Wars?!"
Marley pouted. Zooey finally stopped laughing.
"I know, let's use' Yoda' as our own 'You'" Zooey said.
Marley shrugged.
"Okay."
"Here it goes."
"I love Yoda." Marley said.
"I love Yoda too." Zooey replied.
"I love Yoda so much." Marley said, serious.
Zooey stared at her girlfriend. Silence fell between them. A few seconds passed. Suddenly, they both broke into laughter.
"Are you THAT in love with Yoda?!" Zooey said, pressing her stomach. She can't stop laughing.
"It's just too weird, let's just stick to kiss." Marley said, shaking her head.
"Kiss?" Zooey asked.
Marley nodded. They both blushed and then suddenly, Zooey's phone rang.
"Mood killer." Marley said.
Zooey chuckled and picked up her phone.
"Hello?" Zooey expression changed as she listened to the other end of the receiver. She moved to a corner, away from Marley.
Marley watched from a distance. She can hear a few words.
"No! I can't!"
"But.."
"Fine. I'll be there." Zooey hung up the phone before walking towards Marley. She looked sad and guilty.
"What's up? Marley asked, she has a bad feeling about this.
Zooey slowly held Marley's hand and looked into her girlfriend's eyes. "I'm sorry."
Marley stared at her, curious.
"I can't stay for the movie. Selena called and said that I suddenly have a schedule today."
Marley looked away; Zooey can see that she's disappointed.
"What's the schedule?" Marley asked suddenly, her expression serious.
Zooey can feel something is wrong, but she ignored it.
"Uh..a meeting with the people from..
..Clean & Clear."
Marley bit her lip.
