Ice.
Just that one name alone was enough to make any sensable person squirm.
He was the guy everyone envied.
The guy every girl wanted to date.
He was urbane and sexy, with tattoos engraved all over his upper body.
He was also, the biggest drug dealer in the city.
But nobody ever talked about his business up front, they always used code names and secret words.
He never sold it himself, kinda the reason why he never gets caught.
That and the fact that he had connections...with practically everybody.
He was the guy your mom would fall in love with for being the bad boy, and the guy that would make your dad think twice about himself.
Oh. And he was also my psycho over protective ex boyfriend.
Well, according to him we were going to get married.
I beg to differ.
But something told me that day I said yes to him, I would never be able to leave his side.
I can never win with him.
You're either with him, or against him.
And trust me when I say this, if you're against him.
You won't be for long.
Everyone who was, always turned up dead within the next week.
That's just the way things worked around here.
And no matter how much I tried to sneak and hide away from him.
He always gets what he wants.
Always.
And at this current moment I, am what he wanted and he made sure he wasn't letting go of me any time soon.
Well la-de-fucking-da.
Hooray for me.
-_____________-
I mean it's not like I get a say in anything anymore.
I should've known.
I should've known his words were too unoriginal, but yet when he said them to me they were so suave and smooth.
Sigh.
Stupid 15yr old me >:|

I saw her again.
Peyton.
I was walking back home from the library and I saw her at a laundrymat staring off into space.
I thought if I hurried she wouldn't see me, but it's as if she knew I would pass by, not even two steps across the frot window and she had immediatley glanced up and looked at me.
Oh mannn.
I knew I should have taken the other way home.
I'm supposed to be staying AWAY from her not going near her.
"hey kid! Let me borrow a dollar!"
I think my eye just twitched.
I pretended not to hear her and kept walking.
"helllllllllooooooooo", she said behind me.
I turned around slightly.
"hi", I said, and then kept walking ahead.
"wait! Can I borrow a dollar or not?", she asked.
"I don't really think it's considered borrowing if you're going to waste it", I replied.
She rolled her eyes.
"still waiting for that dollar", she insisted.
"why would I give you a dollar?", I said.
"because were buddies now, were cool, and people who are cool with each other let them borrow dollars", she said.
"what do you want with a dollar anyways?", I questioned.
"I need more money to dry my clothe durr. Now are you going to make me beg for the dollar. I mean it's not the first time I've had too anyways", she said smoothly.
I looked at her bewildered.
She burst out laughing.
"it was a joke." she said smiling.
But I still looked at her the same.
For some reason I had some trouble thinking it was just a joke.
And she saw that, which inturn made her wipe the smile off her face and just turn and walk back to the laundrymat.
Okay maybe that was a little mean.
But holy shit how am I suppose to know if she was joking or not.
I'm not very fluent in sarcasm.
I sighed and followed her.
She went and sat down her back facing the window this time.
I didn't say anything I just stood next to her and took my wallet out.
She smirked and I handed her a couple of singles.
You know, just in case.
"thanks kid", still smirking she took the money and went to the quarter machine.
I put my hands in my pockets and looked around.
I had never been in one of these before.
Practically every machine was on and full.
The floors were dirty and there was a weird smell coming from the far right corner where an old man was taking a nap.
I tried not to make a face but it didn't work out too well.
"you get used to it", Peyton said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "this is your first time in one of these right?"
I nodded and she smirked again.
"you really, really need to get out more," she replied.
I shruged, looking at the dirty floor.
"you know it's not going to get any cleaner no matter how long you look at it", she said.
I looked up at her confused.
"what's that's suppose to mean?", I asked.
"it just means what it means", she said. I could sense some type of anger coming off her.
"what's your problem? I give you money and then you start going me an attitude ?", I responded.
"my problem is you. You know I thought just for a split second maybe you weren't like all those snobby little rich kids who's never even seen a goddamn laundrymat with your precious cars, I'm surprised you're even walking", she spat.
That kinda took me by surprise and I was starting to get angry at her last comment.
"oh what youre going to cry? Why don't you run home to your mommy and daddy maybe they'll give you some money so you could shut up", she continued.
"you. Don't. Know. Anything", I said through closed teeth.
I almost started crying at the words she said, so I just bolted out o there before she could say anything else about dad.
Those wounds were still healing.
I started walking faster to forget about my memories.
Running, better start running because they were catching up to me.
I busted in through the front door and just collapsed on the couch, fresh hot tears were already half way down my face.
Akjsdkekdnrucbdi!!!
She makes me so angry!
What would provoke her to say that?
She doesn't know my life!
She doesn't know anything!

I kinda felt bad for the kid, he started tearying up when I mentioned his parents.
Oh what ever.
He'll build a bridge and get over it.
Beep beep!
I looked up to see Ice in his black hummer.
God he's such a tree killer.
I got up walked outside to his car.
"what?", I said.
He nodded towards the laundrymat.
"who was that kid you were talking to?", he questioned.
I rolled my eyes.
"just some loser from school", I responded.
"that's the second time I've seen you talking to him. Am I going to have to take care of this?", he asked.
See told you you always end up dead.
"no no, it's fine really. But I'm kinda in the middle of doing my laundry. Can't this wait?", I said.
"no. It's tonight or never baby, now get in the car", he repeated, unlocking the door.
"but what about-", I started.
"PEYTON." he said, his deep voice booming in my face.
"ok ok I'm going I'm going", I said.
Point number 2 I can never have it my way.
I wonder what that kid is doing?....
Okay now I was starting to feel bad.
