After returning to the Delta Base, the group managed to convince Asgore and Toriel to gather each and every member of Delta to the entrance of the main building. As soon as all of the members of Delta have been gathered, the group told them about the Dark Ones' plans, and with the scroll they got from Macha as evidence, they have read what was written on it. The other members were shocked of what they just heard, believing that they will strike tonight on the upcoming protest in Strange City, where the kids will participate in. Asgore and Toriel, who believed that what was written on the scroll was true, decided that they will go to every nation on Strange Island to defend the innocent from the Dark Ones' wrath tonight.
At dusk, everyone was getting ready for battle. The group has already told the members of Delta about Thorax's plan, so they will get Alex and Clarissa back while the others will protect the innocent ones. Nat, who heard about their plan, insisted on bringing her along with them to the Dark Ones' base, and Thorax, despite his judgement, agreed to bring her as well. Also, Blake came up with an idea for them to get to Ebott. They will be riding Trico there, but they needed to ask Fluttershy first. So Blake asked Fluttershy, and the young Whisperer agreed to let them ride Trico to Ebott.
Right now, the group was outside with Trico, and the other members of Delta stood there and watched as the group prepared themselves. But before they left, the humans had to say their goodbyes to the ones they have known.
"If you find them," Toriel pulled out Alex and Clarissa's weapons. "Give these back to them, and if you manage to return to us in one piece..."
"Toriel, don't worry." Jonas said, taking the weapons from Toriel. "We'll take our chances."
Toriel couldn't help but smile warmly at Jonas for his courage. Even Asgore agreed, giving Jonas a wink. For Nona, she was talking with Weiss, who had wished her good luck.
"Hey. If you find her, I want you to give this to Clarissa." Weiss pulled out a silver locket with a picture of a glyph that almost looked like a snowflake from her pocket. "If you are wondering, it's just to tell her that I am really glad I got to know her personally, even if I yelled at her for running away."
Nona nodded, taking the locket from Weiss and putting it in her jacket. "Okay."
But before Nona left, Weiss stopped her by pulling her into a hug. Nona was stiff at first, but she hugged back. Meanwhile, Ren smiled as he watched Weiss and Nona break their hug. That was when Undyne violently pulled him into a bone-crushing hug.
"You better come back in one piece, you brownie punk!" Undyne shouted, trying her best not to shed a tear.
"I'll be back. I promise." Ren weakly replied.
"Um, Undyne?" Alphys said, getting the fish lady's attention. "You're...uh, crushing him."
"Oh! Sorry." Undyne released Ren from the hug, watching him fall to his knees to catch his breath.
After regaining some air, the other humans helped him back on his feet. Ren shuddered from the hug Undyne gave him, but he was glad that none of his bones were broken.
"Hey!" Nat called getting the humans' gaze. "Let's go! The S.S. Trico is about to depart!"
The humans ran to Trico, who helped them get on his back by letting them climb up his arm. After getting on Trico's back, Blake grabbed the reins. Then, Trico flew off as the other Delta members said their goodbyes and waved. But for Pinkie...
"Wait! Come back!" Pinkie shouted watching Trico fly off with the group on his back. "I was going to sing you guys a good luck song!"
Meanwhile, Lloyd watched the group fly farther and farther from the base. He then turned Ruby and Yang, who was waving to them. He was about to walk up to the sisters, but as he got Yang's attention, he froze. Lloyd then watched as Ruby and Yang walked away along with the other Delta members. He just stayed behind, but that got Cole's attention.
"Hey. You alright?" Cole raised an eyebrow at the green ninja.
"You guys go on without me." Lloyd said quietly. "I caused enough pain for today."
For the group, Ren just watched as he and the others got farther from the base. He just looked down until his cape got into his face. Luckily, he got it away from his view, then he turned to the others.
"Where are we going again?" Ren asked, only getting Thorax's attention.
"We're going straight to Ebott." Thorax pulled out a map and showed it to him. "It's not that far from our base. The Dark Ones' base is somewhere in the woods of Ebott."
"So, we have to stop somewhere in the woods in order to find their base?" Nona asked.
"Sounds like it." Nat replied.
"Huh."
Jonas turned to look at Blake. "You okay over there?"
Blake just kept her mouth shut, just remaining unresponsive and focusing on driving Trico to Ebott. Despite his curiosity on the cat Faunus, he turned away and looked at the others. They were looking at a map Thorax was holding in his hands, and he was talking about how they were going to get to the Dark Ones' base in Ebott. Jonas couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh.
A while later, they have finally reached Ebott and landed Trico near the city, hoping that someone will help them find their destination. Luckily, someone knew of the Dark Ones' location, only knowing the location of the old factory. His name was Doggo, and he would always pass by the old factory every time he took a walk. He told them that the factory was located in the heart of the forest, and the only way to find the factory is to enter the woods by going to Soul Park. The group thanked Doggo for his knowledge and went to Soul Park. As soon as they arrived the park, they entered the woods.
Right now, the group was making their way to the Dark Ones' base. Trico just walked behind Nat, who was holding him by the reins. Thorax still had the map in his hands while Nona had her phone out to light the way with her phone's flashlight. It had felt like a while now that the group was walking in the forest looking for the Dark Ones' base. As they kept walking, Blake stopped and grabbed Jonas by the wrist, making him stop walking as well. Then, the others stopped.
"Any good reason why we stopped, Belle?" Nat said with a raised eyebrow and a stern voice.
"Can I..." Blake sighed. "Can I have a moment with Jonas alone? You guys can go on without us. We'll catch up."
"Oh, come on! We're just walking in the woods, and you want to have a moment with him? What are you even-"
"Nat, just leave her be." Thorax said, then turned to Blake. "We'll leave you guys for a moment. When you guys are finished, you can go back to us. We'll tell you when we found the base."
Blake nodded as she and Jonas watched the others walk away. Then, Jonas turned to her.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" Jonas wanted to know.
"Do you think Lloyd still hates me for...you know." Blake said with a hand on her arm.
"Now that I think about it, I'm not really sure. I haven't even seen him ever since that fight."
"Please don't remind me." Blake gave a glare to him.
"Okay. I won't bring that up ever again. Any good reason why we stopped?"
"I just...I want to give you something."
Jonas raised an eyebrow, watching Blake reach for her pockets. He suddenly finds her pull out a long black ribbon. Blake takes hold of Jonas' right arm and ties the ribbon around his wrist.
"I once used that ribbon to hide my real identity from others." Blake explained before Jonas was going to ask. "Every time people would ask me what I was, I would always tell them that I was a Mimic. But after joining Delta, I stopped hiding my identity. Now, I'm giving this ribbon to you. Just to remember me if you leave."
Jonas' eyes were wide on the ribbon tied onto his wrist, but he smiled and let out a chuckle. "Oh, Blake. You didn't have to, but thank you."
Blake suddenly smiled. "You're welcome."
"Guys!" A voice shouted.
Jonas and Blake turned to find Nat, who gestured at them to follow her. So, they did and rejoined the group, each of them with wide eyes. They both turned to what they were looking at. Below them was a large building surrounded by an electric fence.
"What is that place?" Jonas asked.
"Our destination." Thorax answered. "Their base."
